Talking About Addiction with Your Loved Ones

In this seminar, participants will learn the basic principles of Mentalizing - a practice that will create deeper connections between loved ones and provide opportunities for those difficult conversations about addiction. Mentalizing involves taking a stance of safe uncertainty and curiosity in regard to your thoughts and feelings, as well as the thoughts and feelings of the other person. Practical examples will be provided to increase engagement between teens and parents, romantic partners, and adult children and parents.
