Understanding Interpersonal Violence and Spirituality in Women

Interpersonal violence (IpV) in women, including physical and sexual trauma, creates devastating and lasting effects on an individual’s mental, physical, relational, and spiritual self. This presentation explores recent findings related to the psychological effects of IpV in women and how various factors play into their spiritual and mental health. It will also discuss how to support our family and friends in offerings and finding support in the aftermath of trauma.
