Nice review, I own 4 scooters , including the wide wheel pro. The worst part about this scooter is the brakes. There’s a video on CZcams explaining how to adjust the brakes , make sure to adjust the caliper so the inside pad is super close to the rotor. Made a huge difference in braking performance and life.
Performance from the wide wheel is good considering what it is, I can only get 24mph out of mine though. When riding the wide wheel and jumping onto the ghost, or my Vsett , it makes you realize that it’s definitely an “entry level” dual motor scoot.
As far as portability it’s noticeably smaller and at least 10 pounds lighter than the bigger dual motor scoots like the Varla and the Ghost, makes packing into the car and carrying up a flight of steps easier.
For $600 you got a good deal, have fun and ride safe.

I looked at a few videos and it wasn’t too bad to adjust the brakes, the old pads were terrible and wearing oddly.
I’ve now got 4 scooters too, 3 of them single motor though. I eventually want to swap them out for dual motors. You’ve mentioned the weight difference between the wide wheel and the Varla/ghost, what are your opinion on those latter scooters?
Thank you for your support, and you ride safely as well!

@@TheDukeTMOfficial Uneven wear on the brake pads is due to the caliper not being aligned with the rotor correctly. Same thing happened to mine , which I bought new. The pads were ruined in less than 50 miles.
I’ve ridden a lot of electric vehicles , I have a super 73 ebike , an S2 pro , the Apollo Ghost and the Vsett 10+. I’ve put alot of miles on a friends Varla Pegasus. IMO the best bang for the buck in the mid-level dual motor class is the Apollo Ghost. For around $1700 you get strong hill climbing , top speed @37mph (GPS) and a decent real world range of about 20 miles. But the extra weight of the bigger motors/frame/battery make it significantly less portable then the wide wheel. 12 pounds and a few inches longer and wider doesn’t sound like much until you’re trying to shoehorn it into the trunk or lifting up a flight of steps. The wide wheel is my go-to when I’m taking a scooter with me in the car.
