I forgot about the fact that Aegon burned Harrenhal *the day* it was finished.
Just imagine the conversation...
Aegon: Nice castle you have there, would be a shame if something happened to it.
Harren: You wouldn't!
Aegon: Loserwhowantstogetbakedinhiscastleandwhoslinewillendsayswhat?
Harren: What?
Aegon: *flies away*
It’s fun to imagine the context of these characters explaining all this lore.
Jorah is instructing Dany.
Joffrey is giving Margaery a tour.
Meera is explaining the Neck to Bran.
Roose is giving Ramsay a lecture.
Tywin is lecturing Tommen.
Brienne is teaching Podrick.
Catelyn is warning Robb.
By that logic, who is Jon addressing?
@@booblywoobly3694 He’s probably explaining the North to Sam?

Littlefinger and Varys going at it is just amazing.
I would pay good money for an entire Westeros history series with these two just bickering the whole time.
@@edifiedreadermystery Westerosi Theatre 3000, just add Pycell when he's not pretending to be a feeble old man from that deleted tywin fishing scene
The true gem of this show: Joffrey. The actor who plays him is the NICEST guy and yet he is such a convincing..... Not nice guy

“Maybe someone whispered” how smart the Tyrell’s are!
I’m so happy listening to this
This entire series must have been some kind of context for who has the best voice for narration. It would be awesome if the actors all did a dramatic reading of the books.
Magic: Gods I was strong then!
And after Dany the magic returns

Yeah Roose, kinda sounds like someone who has cloaks of human skin in their closet.
it's just a naked bear i swear!
Mellisandre: "Who are you?"
Thoros: "I'm you but cooler."

Is there a reason these are in different order compared to the bluray? Is there a right sequence watching these?
@@karenuy9414 no idea, but it doesn't really matter which order you watch them in
What an interesting treat it was to find this hidden gem of lore. See, I came to this playlist out of mere boredom one evening in search for something to listen to while I fell asleep later that night. Now, I by happy accident had found something I've listened to several times over. I must give thanks to all the actors and actresses willing to lend their voices to it's narrative. Not only did their give us an amazing story with the show, but brought us so much more in the form of these videos. For me, this now rivals the works of Sven van der Plank's lore series on BattleTech and Luetin09's massive library of 40K videos. Well done.
I know it will probably never happen, but I so wish that there would be a live action portrayal of the Qohor siege with the Unsullied defending against the Dothraki horde.
Call it a Game of Thrones mini-series, like just 3 or 4 episodes, wouldn't even have to be all that long. It's just such a badass scene.
Could make like an anthology series, A new story every episode or season

All things considered, Joffrey may have been a fool, but he was pretty intelligent. And even if he didn't quite succeed, he understood how well fear works for a ruler
But as Tywin said Intelligence without wisdom means nothing
Baby Joff is garbage. No one feared him, they only feared his status. A king. Still just a punk kid.
The main problem with Joffrey's brief reign is that as a boy of of 13 years old, he technically had no legal precedence to rule on his own or make decisions and decide on executions. Young Kings until their 16th birthday are subject to a Regency or Regency Council - all power therefore lies with the Regent & Hand of the King. Cersei and Tyrion later Tywin ruled Westeros on Joffrey's behalf and in his name.
Aegon III Targaryen also served under a Regency / Regency Council until he turned 16.
I do not believe fear to be an effective motivator-Chicken man
@@PULAG yeah. I honestly think that is was better that Ned Stark ended up getting ganked. Had he stayed around, Joffrey would have been given an opportunity to become smart. he could have been a problem for quite some time, assuming dany didn't come around.
I've always wondered if the bit about Storm's End being built and rebuilt so many times was a nod to Monty Python's Holy Grail 😂

Unpopular opinion: rhe unsullied really weren't anything special in the show. Average fighters at best. And they were all lanky af
Wrong. They were extremely good in proper formation with locked shield lines and spears and in defense against sieges. Which was their primary purpose. Spread out or in city watch style which is what they were primarily used for in the show a lot of their advantages were gone.
Can anyone tell me what is what is the this GOT histories and lore? I mean this a officail GOT extra or not? If yes what is the release year?
And How someone watch the got seris in chrnology if I include histories and lore also??
Plz reply 🙏🙏🙏
I believe GOT Histories & Lores gives viewers better insights about the story through each character's point of view. It also provides you the history before GOT happened, e.g. Children of the forest, the First Men, The Andals etc. The information is collected from George R.R. Martin's Book Series 'A song of Ice & Fire'.
these were made for each season explaining the backstories of major events. if you buy the latest blu ray (box set) you have these official extras attached to each season disc or as bonus chapters
Dude you gotta fkn cool it. You're on every single season video saying this shit.
@@PULAG yeah and I got replies also😗
Does a historic background count as a spoiler though? Cause they're what happened already and the series is what is happening
