- Welcome to Part 2 of my entire art supply collection as of August 2022! If you haven't seen Part 1 yet, I will link that down below for you along with some other relevant past videos. Today's video showcases all of the artist paper pads and sketchbooks that I own, and thank goodness that I split this into two parts because it would have resulted in an hour-long video otherwise!
I know a lot of you here on my channel are interesting in art papers in particular, so hopefully this video will be of use to you. I know I have a lot of papers, but bear in mind I have collected them over many years. Is there anything in the giveaway pile that you guys would be interested in? I really enjoyed this video. It's so much fun to see all the goodies us artists have in our studios. You should do a video where you finish your unfinished artworks! I have one of those videos on my own list to get to... But really, I would LOVE to see you finish some of the artwork you showed us - I think that'd be great!

Hi Alexis! Well, for pastels, Pastelmat is the best paper ever!, not only for pastels, but for pencils too! I love this paper. And wow, I think the Strathmore paper, is very good for sketch, and drawing. It's a good idea that you included those for the giveaway! I love to try the Strathmore tan paper, and the black one😁 the Bristol smooth too🙏🏼❤️
I love PastelMat, but it sure is pricey! I will give some of my paper another chance! I don't do a lot of sketching on its own which some of that paper is meant for! thanks for watching💙
so much paper!!n I ve tried most of them, didnt like the strathmore Bristol 300 series, dfidnt like the way the pencils blended on it
The 300 series is not my favorite! I have too much paper and will feel guilty if I don't do a giveaway relatively soon
can never really have too much paper, but def get rid of the stuff you dont like
It’s funny how coloured pencils work well on some papers and not on others. Strathmore Coloured Pencil paper is hopeless with Caran d’Ache Luminance! 😵💫 Nice collection of papers and pastelmat. I love Stonehenge Black watercolour paper. ❤️
They are just finicky! I am not a fan of that Strathmore colored pencil paper, I feel it has a weird tooth to it! I love most of the papers in my collection though luckily, except maybe the last pile😭
Wow... Alot of sketchbooks n still you are saying you are not a sketchbook person 😄. I really liked the sketchbook with hands drawn into it I was watching a video n was wondering yes I'll go for it n you immediately changed your mind 😂
I know, right😂 I think I just don't like the thin sketch paper too much but hey definitely try it out! Fine tooth may work fine for you depending what medium you use! it will work fine for graphite
