- This week, host Peter Rough is joined by co-host Michael Doran, Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East at the Hudson Institute. They recap Mike's recent trip to Israel, and why he thinks the war that sparked by the October 7th atrocities is actually a war for the future of Western civilization. Additionally, they discuss his observations on Israel's current political climate, and the Biden administration's Iran policy.
Gentlemen, chess was invented in India and was played during the 6th century AD Gupta era. It was called Chaturanga and the game simulated the epic Mahabharata war.
don't worry these men are more interested in fictionalising Western civilisation than actually understanding it
The time for fighting for Western civilization is such a patrilinear way of looking at the world . Rather try respectful tolerance and friendliness and don't consider yourself superior than the rest. Stop sceaming and pursue peace with a courageous but compassionate heart . Peace out
The audacity of saying some terror attack in some tiny country is a world changing event these people 😂
Great discussion! Clear honest articulation! Little to no spin! Like. Thank you.
BTW, what’s with the two buttons of the suit closed when seated? 🤔
"You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you"
The ‘god of this world who fools the whole world’ is exemplified in this debate.
It appears that the Hamas did not care about the lsrealies nor the Palestinians on October the 7th.
They thought the same way as the lsrealies; That it is better to fight in Gaza than to fight in Isreal.
India invented chess not persia
india invented a game that wasnt what we know as chess, it was an a very early ancestor. persians worked and added upon that and invented the chess we know today by changing some pieces and using new rules.
India invented the internet as well. It was 2500 years ago, and then the British came and stole it.
@@khaldrago911 I'm not one of those crazy india invented everything kind of guys. It is however verifiable that the earliest form of chess ,called chaturanga, did infact originate in india.
Very good chemistry too, lots of dark humor about our current state of affairs under this admin.and the pentagon. (I am talking about the chairman of the joint chiefs, etc, not about honorable american warfighters/soldiers.)
You people have zero concern for the plight of the people dying in Gaza. Shameful.
You have no concern whatsoever for the victims of October 7th...extremely shameful !
Best episode yet. Both the host and co-host really spell things out in a concise format. No paralysis by analysis as seen on other podcasts like CSIS, Brookings, etc. Thank you.
BS
Islamism versus the west
What is christianism .....?????!!!!
This is what happens when you consume pork and alcohol against the Gospel .....
@@aldindurakovic8828 I’m an atheist, so I don’t have any connection to fictional writings.
