  • This video shows how to upload your own destinations to a Hanover Deric+ or Eric+ controller quickly and without the Keylo and Base Station.

    Hello, fantastic videos on the Hanover Display. Just subbed!
    I have an Eric + and have read the manuals inside out, I can not for the life of me get the display upon power up to dislay the last used destination.
    What am I missing?

    Hello, Great video. I need some help with it, could you please help me with assembly connections? I have the dots panels and derick+, but not sure how power it on.

      power on the 3 pin plug, left is positive middle is ground, on derik, same for panel, pos and ground, and com port is other 2 pin plug. important at least 19vdc power required. just assembled mine today

    If you only have a Deric+ controller in hand (from a retired bus) and without any .BIN file, can you export the DB back into Helen for editing i.e. the reverse of what you'd be doing?

    Any ideas what the deric and the sign draw in terms of power? I know they’re both 24v but how many amps?

      I believe the minimum they can have is 18V but they’re usually best with 24V, can’t say I know much about electricity but I think the PSU says 2 Amps

    Hi there, very helpful but I have one question,
    After pressing 'Load data' on the controller do you have to press the 'send output file' button on the laptop? Or does it automatically start transferring over after you press 'Load data' on the controller?

      Hi, once you press Load Data, it’ll transfer it automatically.

    Where can you get the software for them using a DG3 controller

      @@madjock7784 if you have Facebook, there’s a group I run called Destination Display group, there’s download links for Hanover software in there.
      If not try Googling it, there’s a forum somewhere with a download for an older version

    What driver do you have for the USB/Serial cable?

      If you use it with your computer whilst on the internet, it should download them automatically

      eBay is the easiest but they're usually expensive, just approach an operator or ask around like I did.

      Try some preservation groups, they might sell equipment to help raise funds! I got a full set of hanover flip blinds cheaply through a local group!

      @@NC-002 Agreed, knowing the right people always help. I have about 5 sets of blinds and a working (manual) blind box I got free from multiple sources. Just ask around, worst anyone can say is no!
