On a completely unrelated note do Stagecoach usually change the lock code?
Also is it possible for companies to lock the destination updates so you can't make your own usb files up?
I was thinking there might be some scope for mischief seeing how easy it is to update the blinds and hide messages under secret destination codes 😂. I'd like to think the operators would be wise to that
no they don't change the lock code
If you press function when selecting destination it puts it in straight away.
Nice guide mate! Is there a way to make the invert the display(LED OFF in letters and LED ON in background)?
I've seen it being done but can't figure it out how.

you can invert in the software and manual im not sure
Do you know the pin out on the 18 pin connector I only need power in and data out to the 3 displays on my vehicle, if it helps mine is a DG3 produced in July 2023 for/by stagecoach Manchester.
Ignore the above I now have an DG3 installation and service manual
Ours is printed on it on a label. We just use a 4pin connector off a psu for a PC then connected to the bus with a connector if you wanna join our discord or send us a pm on twitter or Facebook when I am next at the yard I can have a look for you
I’ve got a mk2 dg3 and it will only upload 8 blinds am I doing something wrong?

The bus at the start is a Wrightbus B10
Can you change the brightness?
Led Brightness is controlled by a light sensor on the blind

Now I look back at this from a year ago, so I gather from what you was saying you scroll down to find your destination where a service goes with letters (with just the number) and just set it and it comes up with the service number and the letter that was added to the service.
How do you load onto the usb stick ?

@@Mancbuses Doesn't the 'BUS REVERSING' just pop up on the dest when it is going backwards on the newer buses?
