The openness of the drivers about the technical adjustments of the cars makes the competition of a higher quality. It makes all drivers better. In my opinion, this is one of the biggest reasons why Drift Masters is currently the best and highest quality drifting series in the world.
Really nice to see you in Finland, I hope there won't be any technical problems!

Making top notch content in an era of dying car channels being gutted by corporate greed. I love your videos, and all the guys at the shop. It's really honest and fun content. Being Canadian kind of bones your numbers (my wife is a big influencer in a different genre so we know the Canadian struggle) but for what it's worth, we all appreciate and enjoy the stuff you're putting out.

@@Joebobinator because the content at Hoonigan ha been terrible for well over 2 years. Donut is the same. They didn't meet what consumers wanted so they started to go under

I'm one of those weird Canadians, I don't give a fig about hockey or drifting. I keep watching because you guys make great content. I hope a year from now I will still have great content to watch from you... even if you waste your talents slipping and sliding around instead of doing race car stuff. Don't stop making great content, don't become another hoonigan or donut... KEEP CORPORATE GREED OUT OF YOUR LIFE.

Liam from the UK, to be honest Josiah I think you are all great guys and insane fabricators and manufacturers I love watching use group together to solve problem and improve things. Just record and upload don’t think about it to much I would say because I think most people will be here for your personality’s. PS Good luck with the rest of the drift masters season I’m going to try and get to Riga amazing track.

Love the content. Can’t wait to see the progress. Tech tip is RamBoard hardwood flooring protection as templates for metal projects. Instead of corrugated cardboard. It stiff enough but malleable.

We say Races/Drifting is won at home. Meaning in the shop/garage. Our meaning on that is you win with preparation. Sometimes you don't have to be faster/better, you just have to be able to beat the attrition rate that these cars as well as drivers see. Car prep, body prep, mental prep, nutrition, hydration, etc. All goes hand in hand.

I also think the European market sees US drag and oval racing being extremely secretive and think other motor sports are the same. From my experience drifting is the most open motor sport especially when it comes to helping eachother.

Toronto's weather is actually similar to Massachusets or New Hampshire which is a bit colder than New Jersey or NYC. Both Toronto and New Jersey get cold winters, but in Toronto they are brutally cold, and the springtime and autumn in Jersey is also a bit nicer and warmer by a few degrees.
    Avg. High for April:
    Toronto - 11.7C
    Newark, NJ - 17C
    Avg. High for May:
    Toronto - 18.8C
    Newark, NJ - 22.6C
    Avg. High for October:
    Toronto - 14.6C
    Newark, NJ - 18.9C
So a bit warmer for sure. I live in Sofia, Bulgaria which has a climate similar to NYC and I hate it when I have to work on my car outside in the freezing cold during winter time. It's definitely demotivating especially for high grip drifting. You have 0 motivation to go to the track in the winter so that your car breaks and you have to work on it in the cold. It's much easier to go snow drifting in such conditions as cars will almost never break due to the low amounts of grip, unless you crash them of course. But generally winter time is when people in my area go snow drifting as it is much easier and requires much less prep work. Summer time is when people start going to tracks and events. A lot of these people are from different "scenes". Some of the guys are winter beater only, the others are competition and track oriented only. A lot of people start in winter beaters and then transition into the more serious higher grip scene.
I see that Texas and Florida have a year round drift scene probably because the weather allows for it. You can go to the track in December and not freeze to death there, most of the time.

As a Very small new channel you arent lying about the work it takes and how hard it is and like you, I have the team, the characters, equipment and resources. Also from another Genre of motorsports, I would agree 100% with the statement made about winning in the pits vs on track. That is exactly how it is in stock car racing for us.

  • @DrifterAtHeart-Woocash

Good video, keep going with the content...it's good. It was cool meeting you and the team in Valencia 🍊. I've got the impression that your mic might be clipping(going into red), if so a slightly lowered gain would improve that(I've been there). To prevent the focus from hunting(as you're not rocking or moving in and out) ,try to catch and switch to manual more(if you had it at continues AFC).
