    Hey!
    Today we are going to take a look at a rather simple way to reset forgotten local account password in Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 without programs.
    This is actually a big problem when you cannot open your computer.
    You are trying to remember your password, but it doesn't work. You can reset your password and come up with a new one, but you haven't created a dedicated password reset flash drive.
    Do not worry, look carefully, repeat exactly after me, step by step, and we will succeed!
    I hope that what I just said in this video could help you, and if you found it helpful, please share my video with anyone!
    Write me a comment, I will answer all your questions and try to help you.
    Thank you very much for your attention to my video!
    Good luck!

    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! What a great video! It worked on my first time through and that rarely ever happens. About a month ago my computer said it needed to restart so I did and the pin login option had disappeared from my local account. I've been using the pin login since 2017 without a problem. I forgot my password almost immediately after I registered the computer. Microsoft has been pushing for like 2 years to try to get me to sign in with my Microsoft account "to really get the full benefits of Windows." But I know that just means they want all my information to go through them and I prefer to stay in the local account. So reluctantly I signed in with my Microsoft account and it rewrote and reconfigured my computer. The pin option for the local account stayed gone so I became a user on my computer. I no longer had administrative access to a computer anymore. All my previous data that I had saved was now in a folder that I could not access, couldn't even read the properties on it. I couldn't reset or even full reset Windows because I didn't have the password. I couldn't even update a browser. I have been searching for a solution since then with no luck and then I found your magic video! I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!! What a lifesaver!

    Don't forget to remove the USB drive after you do the cmd part or to be exact, don't let windows boot again from the USB drive if you're using one. Otherwise, you won't get to the next cmd part after rebooting like in the video.

    • @ipMalik
      @ipMalik  Před 2 lety +2

      If, after rebooting, the PC boots from the USB flash drive, this means that in the BIOS, the boot priority for USB devices is in the first place.
      It is necessary to change the settings in the BIOS and put the hard disk in the first place in boot priority

    Hi! If we have reset our password and finished with all of this, will the command prompt pop-up again after I restart my PC the next time? And even if that happens, what should I do and what is the way to revert all the changes we have made in the registry editor with the CMD. I would be really glad if you would help me with this question. Thanks in advance!

    • @ipMalik
      @ipMalik  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello,
      After reboot, the Command Prompt appears only once to remove the password.
      After deleting the password in the registry, nothing else needs to be changed, in the future this will not affect the operation of the PC in any way.
      The only thing is that after removing the password, the PC remains unprotected, and after entering Windows, I recommend setting a new password.
      I showed how to set a new password in the last part of the video.

      This method will work every time you remove the password after setting a new password.

      If your PC starts to reboot constantly after all the steps, sometimes it happens when you make a mistake in one of the steps.
      Now do the following:
      Force shutdown the PC and after a minute turn it on again, if the problem persists,
      open a command prompt and again go all the way from the beginning.
      The only thing - on one of the steps, do it differently, when you open "Setup Tupe", instead of 0, put 2, but not 1, this should solve the problem.

      This usually happens if you make a mistake at one of the steps in the process.
      In the beginning, you need to forcibly turn off the PC so that it stops constantly rebooting.
      To do this, hold down the power button until the PC turns off.
      Then turn on the PC, and if the constant reboot continues, you need to forcibly turn off the PC again and start the process from the very beginning - this should help.
