Any progress on getting the engine running on this swap? Been following your progress over the last couple years, I'm also doing a M62tu swap on my E30. I'm currently piecing the last few crucial components for the swap. For my engine harness adapter, I purchased one from Condor Speed Shop, and it appears to be a very well made harness adapter!
I couldn’t get it to fire up with the adaptar I have. The one you got from condor is made by the same company Red Line motorsports. Have crank no start. Relays aren’t triggering. Going to convert everything to obd1 to make it simpler and tune it for the engine displacement.
Make sure that you ground the Engine to the car. Also Check the wiring coming from the car to the relays. When you Turn the key there needs to be a 12v at the DME. What Kind of gearbox are planning to use?
Yes, engine ground is attached. I’ve tested a lot of the wiring, I’m suspecting either a bad DME or some small wiring I’ve overlooked. I am using Getrag 420 6 speed
When you Turn the ignition in starting Position, does the idle Control valve make a humming/buzzing Sound? I Send you an inventation on Insta. Maybe i van help you further. I had also many issues with my build.
Yes 89. I discovered I am not getting signals to the relays on the M62 harness. Not sure why. Jumped the relays and I have crank now. I may get it running in the next video and I’ll show what’s going on.

What flywheel and clutch are you running? Can you drop the name and parts number?
Is the car a 89? Looks like you don’t have Signal to the Relays.
