Claire "Tobey McGuire" Redfield.
Giovanni Giovanni. what does Tobey McGuire gotta do with Claire?
@@baddieperra0624 Look at Resident Evil Revelations 2 Claire Redfield face model and get back to me.
Giovanni Giovanni. Oh her face model? Claire looks nothing like tobey macguire smh. I think she’s still gorgeous🤷♀️. Her nose does look a bit broken but she still looks good. But that’s just my opinion
@@giovannigiovanni.7220 Makes no sense
Always boggles my mind when people say RE7 didn't feel like Resident Evil. Exploring the Baker Estate, conserving ammo, solving puzzles, rushing to safe rooms... It felt more like the original trilogy than anything else.
Not to mention Eveline being a **SPOILER INCOMING** a product of umbrella or whatever. I think people need to replay it, especially if it’s been a while. It has classic RE elements and the story was good. I felt it was short, but good.
@@BerninaPoubelle it isn't unberlla it is the connection
Baker house good, after that it was horrible.
@@abdosherif5477 yes but it is the canonical competitor to umbrella witch is even better because umbrella never did experiment with fungi, it was always just viruses
Anyone can play the game and look at it. If it didn't have the name re on it, it could have been an entirely different game. Its really different
Seeing 7 next to 6 is really soul crushing......

Well resident evil 7 was not Resident evil. It was first person, and none of the characters were related to the franchise.
@@anthonyhunter4889 you could say the same thing about RE4 with how much it changed the series and many people love that game. Just because a series does something different to modernize the gameplay doesn't mean it's bad or not true to the franchise's roots, it's bad when a series changes for the mainstream appeal. Example: Halo 4 completely obliterating the carefully crafted mechanics and sandbox of the original halo Trilogy. 343 tried to compete with COD and ruined the Halo formula to try and appeal to the masses. Capcom did the same thing with the action direction and over the top Michael Bay style with RE in 5 and subsequently 6. They're not trying to appeal to the masses with what they did to RE7, they tried to appeal to the original fans and horror enthusiasts and I personally think it was very well done and I won't ever understand why even hardcore RE vets still dont give it the credit it deserves. You may not consider it resident evil because it's not related at all to the other games which is fair enough, but to deny it as a good game and a return to what RE is supposed to be is absurd.
@@banginbadger75 I understand where you are coming from, but RE4 was one of the mist monumental games, as it changed the way gaming as a whole was. But in my opinion, RE7 didn't do anything signaficant to gaming.
But RE7 did bring the franchise back to it's original roots. So I understand why it gets the love that it does.
Resident evil 2 is a masterpiece of a game
Yeah, the original....
@@ocdman3910 remake was good too.

Its a sad time we live in where you always need to say don't be mad or angry if I have a different opinion.
Tell me about it. One of my English classes talking about contemporary philosophy (and politics) is basically a majority of the students actually doing their assignments telling the teacher this.
I feel...
Well I'm glad I grew up before the world became a tampon.
It's not that deep
Agreed
Huh I don't really see that with RE7. To me, that game was the first proper return to form for the Resident Evil series. It felt like the first actual classic style RE game in ages, of course with a modern twist.
Ikr
I'd say in the gameplay yeah and the general tone. To me tho the setting and the story feel very alien to the established RE canon. The characters just feel like they exist in a different universe from the other mainline games imo.
@@quacky8707 Tbh, re7 suffers from only having 3 enemies throughout the whole game and 3 bosses, 1 you don't even kill.
@@Ryan-Petre the gameplay was RE but in first person and the story WAS way different and i didnt really like it tbh but its a good game
RE7 is the most RE game since RE2 lol. Just because its first person people talk bad about it. But the games comes in 3s. Locked camera, then third person, now first person.

Revelations 2 is a hidden gem in the series. You never hear anyone talk about it, but it was so damn good and had so much replayability. The only thing i really didnt like was a lack of online co op for the main story. Would have made it a 10 for me.
And the raid mode is an absolute blast
Are you joking ? Having to handle a forced coop IA AGAIN and the gameplay with the light and stuff.. Damn I quit this game after like 2 hours LOOOL Could have been so much better if they just stick with the gun and survival gameplay.
@@starzriser9700 I got used to the gameplay style really easily
@@starzriser9700 i disagree. I think the dynamic of a partner more focused on support was a nice change up and it really made the game its own thing.
For the run and gun, you still had a fully fleshed out raid mode.
I was glad we found a way around it with parsec to play online. My buddy and I were wanting to play a coop RE after 5 and this was the next best thing (since he doesnt like classic RE for Outbreak).
That music in the background, E-103’s theme awesome song
yes, I've pointed that out in another video so I think he really does like it as well.
That's actually from an SNES XMen game called Mutant Apocalypse. Beats Stage. The one that starts at 10:30 anyway lol love that game
Jamie Mclaughlin at 10:30 that’s actually from metal gear solid 2
E-102 Not 3 but either way yes its epic
Weegi 64 oops looks like I got the E-series mixed up lol
Reasons why RE7 is nearly the definition of classic Resident Evil:
1: Limited resources and resource management
2: Safe rooms with their own unique music and connected item boxes
3: Limited saves in Madhouse difficulty
4: Unkillable tyrant-like enemy that hunts you for a portion of the game
5: Doors that are unlocked with themed keys
6: Puzzles, most simple, some less simple
7: Choice whether to fight enemies or run
8: Backtracting to old areas in order to find and do new things
9: Literally a puzzle where you swap out a broken shotgun with a working one
10: Literally the exact same progression as RE1 and 2. You start in an extravagant main building, where you unlock several themed doors, solve puzzles, deal with enemies, are chased by a "tyrant" enemy, all culminating in a boss fight. You then leave the main building and go to a secondary building, where you do all of that again. Then you leave the secondary building and return to the main building, where you finish up all of the remaining things you couldn't do before in order to go to a new area once again. In RE7, it's Lucas' barn/the ship, in RE1, its the caves. You solve a few more puzzles, get some story revelations, kill or dodge a few more enemies, and then you go to an underground lab. In RE7, the lab gives way to a mine, but it's still the same concept. You go through the lab/mine until you reach the final boss, which you then kill with some fancy weapon that's dropped to you from an off-screen ally. You ride off in a helicopter into the sunrise.
Reasons why it's not the exact definition of classic Resident Evil:
1: It's in first person
2: You don't play as Leon, Claire, Jill, or Chris.
3: There are no zombies in the traditional sense.
That's it. Those are the only reasons why it's "not Resident Evil". If you ask me, those are very silly reasons to call something that. Was RE2 not Resident Evil because it didn't have any of the characters from RE1? No, it was an expansion of the franchise that did new things while keeping to the formula of the original, just like RE7. I'd argue that if any game were to be called "not Resident Evil" it should be RE4, because the only connections that game has with the original games are that you play as Leon, item management, some puzzles, and you kill the final boss with a rocket launcher. I love RE4 and I'm going to continue calling it RE however, because it's a good game and it just IS a part of the franchise. RE4 is not a game I turn to when I want to play a classic style Resident Evil though. RE7 is.
Trash FPS.
"Resident Evil 7 is not Resident evil". It is easily more resident evil than 4,5 and 6 combined
Exactly. How is he gonna sit there and say 7 isn't RE when Capcom literally resurrected survival horror in the franchise with that game from the monstrosities of 5 and 6? He didn't even go into detail on 6 which is NOT RE - it's over the top Hollywood style explosions, one after the other lol. I'm pretty sure he's alluding to the fact there are none of the original cast in there and it's FPS but those are really feeble reasons.
True
@@Baz87100 People who think RE needs to be third person or have fixed camera angles don't seem to appreciate the rest of the original game's mechanics. I played RE2 remake with a first person mod and found it way scarier. The camera doesn't really matter, or the characters for that matter. For me, once I beat the game twice, I'm skipping all cutscenes anyway, so what I care is if it plays good, does it feel satisfying to master. I like the sense that a location oozing with horror ambience is a giant puzzle to unlock. It's almost Metroidvania in execution, seeing a blocked path just to return with the required item later, progressing with stronger weapons and learning the locations front to back. RE4, 5, and 6 have you leave before you really get to appreciate the level design and details. RE7 is a great RE game.
@@alegotronnortogela7695 its based on preference and thats how its akways going to be. Based on comments i read and talking to other people, most people dont like the fps while the people that do are in the minority. It may have worked for you but it may not work for other people.
I'd argue that 5 and 6 stray the most away from what RE is supposed to be. You have a shit opinion if you think RE7 isn't resident evil or a good resident evil game.
I respect your choices, just me personally I think resident evil remake should have been s tier but I loved this video and I’m thankful for ut
Same. 18 years later and it holds up. The definition of survival horror

Marcus Wilkes yesss it’s the best remake I ever played and I love it so much
Too bad REmake is boring sometimes
Agree with everything except REmake being A. Come on man, it's automatic S tier for all true RE fans. Still one of the best remade games ever made and still holds up well to this day.
Finally someone who makes sense.
Well clearly not all true fans
I'm confused why he put it at A instead of S... especially since it's pretty much the only one he didn't have anything bad to say about.
@@lunabeans9152 I never play the remake remaster of RE the trilogy because I'm not sure I will enjoy the fixed camera, I am now deciding to try play the retro games like re2, code Veronica, 0, and etc but I'm afraid it's gonna be hard, or I'm not going to enjoy it, or I'm gonna get mad, since I already play all the newer resident evil games and kinda want more. Should I give it a shot, and what advice can help me except being open-minded
@@diegosoriano2492 Well you might not like it and that's okay, I'd definitely stay away from Code Veronica or ∅ until you get a handle on the early games. (it's the most frustrating one) Personally, I think you should start with either RE1 or RE1HD.
RE1HD has analog movement which I think is good to help you learn, but I prefer tank controls still. REHD also has the defensive items that will allow you to take hits and not get hurt.
My tips are, take it slow, conserve your ammo where you can.
• Zombies can usually be ran past if you stay to one side of a wall and then run to the other side and run past.
• When you are fighting a zombie, backup when it gets close and don't let yourself get cornered.
•Shotgun is your friend in these games, you can lure zombies into groups and when they get close aim up to kill them all in one shot/blow off their heads.
•Make multiple saves in case you get soft locked or want to try a section again.
I'm glad that you ranked Code Veronica high. It's my favorite in the franchise that people always count out because it's not part of the numbered series, but is absolutely vital to the overall RE universe.
The gameplay is awesome, but one thing about Code: Veronica that I really hate is how they turned Claire into a damsel in distress. In RE 2, she was a strong female character who took on zombies, lickers, Mr. X, giant spiders and a giant alligator (in the 1998 RE 2, but not the remake), and of course William Birkin and those G-Adults that he creates. And then there's Code: Veronica, which kicks off with her being terrified of 4-5 zombies in a graveyard. Despite getting handguns, a crossbow, a grenade launcher, an assault rifle, and even a sniper rifle during her campaign, Claire is always unarmed and helpless during cutscenes, and she needs Steve or Chris to come and rescue her.
@@marcd.4182 I can definitely see what you're saying and can agree with that. CV isn't without its flaws, for sure. I hope in the future we're able to get a remake of CV and they can fix some of these continuity errors since Claire in remake 2 was a very strong character, much as she was in the original.
@@absolutions6108 I wish they would hold off on an RE 4 remake and do Code: Veronica first. Personally, I still think it's a few years too soon for an RE 4 remake because even though it's a 15 year old game, the only thing about it that feels "dated" is not being able to assign weapons to the D-pad.
@@marcd.4182 Absolutely agree. It's still very easy to play 4. It doesn't feel to me like I'm playing a 15 year old game. Code Veronica on the other hand, feels dated. As long as it gets remade eventually, I'll be happy! Even if 4 is done first.
Im glad some people see how good CV is. Truly underrated but not without it’s flaws ( imo fuck the bandersnatch)
My Heart is Breaking to see 0 at rank C but even more to not see the masterpiece of Rebirth in S !!! :O
Anyway, Great choices overall for a true fan of the serie like you, and now I want to buy the DS version of the first episode !
Keep the entertainment ! :)
Honestly, the infinite combo monkeys alone warrant a low rating, there were amazing ideas but a lot of problems with 0.
I'd swap RE Remastered with RE2 Remastered because RE2 screwed up the a/b scenarios.
0 would be soooo much better with a storage box and no annoying monkeys
@@somethingsomething9006 Didn't know Monkeys were such a down factor for this game XD Clearly 0 doesnt deserve an S, but for it's time it was quite good, at least B or A for me. It would have been S if at the time you could play coop with the 2 characters ! :D Otherwise I totally agreed that Rebecca is not a really memorable character, Billy is pretty cool and I'm sad he has not been seen ever since...

When I played it I just don't imagine it as resident evil game. But really amazing action game though
Yeah you're good!! I actually liked 6 a lot, the action packed adventure was really a turn for the series but I was 10 when it came out so I still haven't completed it due to the difficulty 😭

Picked up RE:1,2,3,4,5,6
For $60 on playstation 5, never played or touched a resident evil game and I've been watching a countless amount of videos about Resident Evil and it's getting me hyped to play them once my girlfriend comes back from quarantine to play them with me as she grew up with those games.
VII is closer to the original trilogy than the rest of the mainline releases.
@@Nathan-Croft it's one of the best selling isn't it
Oh man people do not give 7 enough credit. It’s such a solid entry in the series.
Two big things I hate about 7 is the first person camera, and the monsters themselves. The best RE games have limited resources and difficult fights. Jack baker is pretty much just a blob of shit in the end and all the "zombie" mobs are just slower, dumber, recycled booger leach monsters from 0. It is a beautiful horror game, you can't deny that no matter how you feel about it. If it wasn't called resident evil I probably never would have played it. That slow burn first person horror just isn't for me.
@@Resident_Craig I've just recently began playing it. I don't think it's a very good re game but I think it's a pretty darn good horror game
RE2 is simply, irrefutably god-tier in nearly every single possible way. Loved what you said about RE4 too, especially the fact that it paved the way for countless subsequent games (cough, DEAD SPACE, cough!).
and The Evil Within 1+2. ;)
Yea RE4 walked so Dead Space could fly, and then fly again, and then commit suicide.
“But it’s not Resident Evil...” when talking about 7
Are you kidding? Spooky mansion, bio weapons, horrific mutations, ludicrously complicated locked doors, and an emphasis on survival horror? If 7 isn’t Resident Evil enough, then I think we need to reassess what our definitions of Resident Evil are.
Item management also
It really isn’t though but we all have different opinions... Re7 was the first of the series I only ever played once and never touched it again 8 will be the same for me. These just aren’t what resident evil should be.
What should they be?
I mean there's opinions and then there's facts. And the fact is, Resident Evil has always tried to emulate cheesy horror movies. The best Resident Evil games are the ones that embrace that mentality the most (REmake and RE4) and RE7 does it only with a different take. More Texas Chainsaw than Night of the Living Dead. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's not Resident Evil nor does it mean that's what Resident Evil should be.
I think hes referring to the game play itself. I feel the same way about the game. Honestly if 7 wasn't called Resident Evil I can all but guarantee you I never would have played it. It is a great horror game. I mean its beautiful, its scary, its suspenseful. Even with that it doesn't feel like a Resident Evil game. I hate literally all the enemies in the game and that includes the bosses. It also doesn't help that none of the characters are even relevant to Resident Evil's story. Well, aside from the once again re imaged Chris at the very end. Re7 imo, is like Alien isolation. It's a great game, it just is not for me. 7 is just too different for a lot of RE fans.
Claire is probably my favorite character as well. She's been through a shit ton of trauma, and still manages to fight through it all. She's a badass! 👍

I really like re7 because of how different it is to the other games and it would be kind of wierd if they made a new main entry after 5 years and it's cool how it's linked up to the main story and how we will see more of that in re8 and I like how with ethan's story it's a new approach with new characters and new enemies without having them as zombies
Yes Resident Evil 7 is what got me back into the franchise. When 4 was released I was immensely disappointed and didn't touch another game until 7 was released. You said that you were also going to judge from a design perspective but I feel like it was almost all based on opinion. Which is fine. I was just expecting a lot more technical talk about the level creation and the mechanics of each game.
I agree with more than what I disagree with but for different reasons.
I don't understand how some people can say RE7 is not RE. It has all the elements of classic RE games to me.
- ammo crafting
- a stalker enemy
- Exploration
- a mansion
- emblem keys
- Puzzles
- Save rooms with a save room theme playing
- No autosaves in Survival mode
- Chests to store items
- finally horror again

It saved the franchise for me.

It's almost the same situation, Great *Game*, not such a Great *RE Game*
that said, i think it really should be on "A" Rank, to show that is something big to the game industry but not to RE games
@@Commodore22345 well, in my opinion, RE4 has a totally different atmosphere and genre than the previous games. it's a total shooter, the story to me feels like a spin off, because you're suddenly on a village doing who knows what with enemies that are not even zombies and etc, while the goal on the main story was to take down Umbrella(wich was put aside and then played out on a random Wii game with aim gameplay), so to me it isn't very connected, all it had was RE previous chacraters, Leon and Ada, and that's it.
so to me, RE4 feels like a spin off story that ended up being the series' future, and in terms of changes, it feels a lot like RE7.
I'm not against changes in general, but it depends on how you do It and when, you know? to mee, they should have at first got the total trust of RE fans back, please us with some good RE stuff that are faithful to te franchise, and then bring something new and be transparent and honest, and value the fans RE had for such a long time. They had the chance of doing so many faithful things on RE2 remake, but they decided not to(because MONEY), then we had RE3r and resistance... so that took away all the faith i had on this franchise, and now i don't trust them at all, and to me, RE is now JUST a money maker that they don't really care about :T i mean, it's obvious anyone wants their game to be successful and make money, but when that's the ONLY goal... it's sad
Re7 is either an a or an s. It brought back horror to the RE series.

RE5's AI wasnt even that bad. If you set her up with the right guns, she proves to be worthy.

RE7 is what RE4 is for some of you. It’s the game that got me interested into the series. Having played the original and some of the others, it definitely feels like a Resident Evil game, only in first person. I think it’s unique in it’s own way, especially since it came out alongside horror games like Outlast 2 which were being overdone by then.
So weird talking about Resident evil but hearing MGS music in the backround. Love it.
Great video. I didn't agree with all of your decisions, but I like that you explained them all and actually put thought into your choices.
This was a great watch. I am one of the few people that love Resident Evil Zero, despite what it is. Maybe I'll change my mind a bit about it, but so far, that's the only disagreement I have of this video. Otherwise, this is very useful for people who want to start the Resident Evil series.
I totally love RE0, and I’m really glad I found someone who agrees with that :)
Grew up on resident evil 2 and 3 . So those will always be my favorite.
Grew up on 3, REmake and 4. Without the nostalgia for 2, I don't think it's better than 1. However, I like 2 more than 3.
I totally agree with your S rank choices and I'm glad to see Resistance in the A rank section because It is a great game with plenty of potential. Capcom needs to add more maps, weapons, and characters to Resistance. Love your vids Bro!
This is a great list! I found myself placing these games in the same spots you did. Looking forward to what you think of RE Village!

If think about it a little bit, we never get to fond ourselves so much with her. She appeared in RE 1, bbut her role was not important during the game, regardless she managed to do some useful things in the RE1. So i dont blame him
Spot on with Code Veronica!!! Actually the reason I haven’t beat it yet, I had to start over because I got to Chris’ scenario and didn’t have the weapon I needed 🙄
Code Veronica demands one play smarter and not harder.
Wow i love the vid right when it starts. Love how u have sonic adventure 1 E-102 Gammas theme playing. Love that game and soundtrack. Nice touch.
This guy's choices are perfect and exactly what i would rank them in. He pretty much touched base on everything, and i can agree with his decisions. I don't think i could relate with anyone elses tier list more so then his.
Having only ever played 5 with friends, it's S tier for me. It's such a great continuation of the Wesker/Chris story and I genuinely like Sheva as a character. Plus, the mercenaries mode imo is the best one and the gameplay actually improved upon 4. (Though 4 is still better overall)
Also putting 6 anywhere higher than D is batshit insane for me 😅 the gunplay in spongy the story is messy as all hell, and the amount of backtracking and messy controls you have to deal with is unbearable.
Wait you think 6's backtracking is bad?
RE code veronica entered the chat
I genuinely think RE5 is the best split screen couch coop shooter ever made.
desfefe code Veronica is just confusing AF
I know its your opinion and I appreciate that but how the hell is RE1 remake in A and re4 in S!!!??? Wow
They should both be in S IMO
Re4 is also perfect.
Its nice to have decent people with there own opinions. I personally cannot stand re4,5 and 6! It would be boring if we were all the same tho
It's odd to see the DS version higher than the Remake, but hey, to each their own.
@@broodicus1 4 is amazing tho, what's not to like
That is a fair enough list bro! Love it keep the videos coming bro!
Damn, early gang! Love the video as always :D
Biggest change I'd make is swapping RE2make and REmake. Sure, RE2make is largely great, but it notably *took away* from the original in the lack of zapping system and actual differences between the A and B scenarios. Essentially the only change is who meets Marvin and how quickly you meet X, which is so different from the original that I can't give it S-tier. This is versus REmake, which only *added* to the story, adding whole sections with Lisa Trevor and such. And it still kept the multiple endings, which RE2make did not.
The original game’s differences in A/B were far from perfect as well, but still do it better for sure from a detailed perspective and the zapping system was only good for the windows in the East and west hallway and the locker with the sub machine gun and side pack, not exactly that important. The endings? It’s literally the same way the original games end in their 4 scenarios.
Re2 Remake , Re3 remake, rated too high by one tier & Re 1 Remake, Re7, Re 0 rated one tier too low... Re7 being ranked that low is criminal IMO
There is no RE2 and RE3 Remake: czcams.com/video/BfZbNXbffv8/video.html
I honestly agree with just about all of your choices. Including the Deadly Silence game being better than the original, I loved that version and thought they fixed a lot of things too. These following changes are just my opinion and I completely respect your choices, these are just what I would change if it were my list. I would change Resident Evil remake to S tier because that's my favorite game of all time, that game to me is what RE2 is to you lol. I also really like RE0 a lot so I would move it to B, It definitely had a lot of flaws but I always find myself coming back to it. Rebecca is my favorite character in the RE Universe so seeing her as a main character always made me happy, sucks that's the last time we ever really saw her though. I remember hearing the team didn't really like her much or something like that.
I love how he says “I’m not looking at this as only a consumer but a creator of it as well” not with these words but amazing and inspiring for some reason.
It makes me happy seeing outbreak games being high tier.
I’m glad that resistance got a high ranking, it’s a really underrated game thank you 😅
i also like resistance, thought it was a fine game
Resident Evil 5 holds a special place in my heart. I see its flaws, but I played it so much during my high school days. I still play mercenaries reunion/United because Excella is my favorite character ever and I really loved the co-op gameplay.
Honestly I think people like to over inflate the flaws of RE5. Yes, it didn’t really try to be horror (only remotely scary part was the licker sections), but for an action game? Absolutely phenomenal. I see it as the limit for how action oriented you can go for a good RE game. RE6 took it like 10 steps further which is why it is universally agreed as pretty mid.
@@bremjo7929 RE5 is my favorite game in the series, imo the only real flaws are that it's boss fights are TERRIBLE (like, every single one but maybe 1 or 2.) and the gameplay is too hold forward linear.
For me:
S Rank:
RE2 (1998); RE3 (1999); RE Remake
A Rank:
RE1; RE CV; RE Outbreak File 1-2; RE Deadly Silence; RE Revelations 2 (more like a B+ or A- with this one); RE7
B Rank:
RE0; RE4; RE Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles; RE Revelations 1; RE ORC (I liked it, okay?!😂); RE2 (2019)
C Rank:
RE5 (Mercenaries 3D is basically an expansion pack for this, so)
D Rank:
RE3 (2020); RE6
F Rank:
Umbrella Corps; RE Resistance
I agree with 99% of the list except 7 I feel that would be an easy S rank game for all it did A at least
Agreed
Yeah same
I respect you putting Resistance so high.
As someone who loves RE6 despite it being without a doubt "a bad Resident Evil game," i respect you for sticking to your guns.
Although, I personally still have a bias against Resistance for the development impacts on RE3. It's just too hard to separate for me.
What makes a “bad resident evil game” is purely subjective. Many people say survival horror was the original intention, but RE4 is often seen as one of the best games in the franchise, even though I’d be hard pressed to call it true horror. That’s why I say RE fans like to over inflate the flaws of certain games, especially since some of the most hated games (RE5 + 6) are some of the best selling. Sure, they may not perfectly match what the original games introduced, but I wouldn’t call that “bad”, especially with how many new fans they pulled in due to it.
@@bremjo7929100% this. Nobody will change my mind that RE4 and RE5's gameplay is close to identical. I don't understand why people will shit on 5 for it's action but then praise 4 which has Leon dodging lasers and running away from giant robot statues of a European.
RE7 feels like a completely different series, you're in a southern home running away from moldy rednecks in a first person shooter format. Even still, there are elements like puzzles and inventory management that make it similar to the other games. It's all down to personal preference.
Resident Evil 6 is such a violent departure that we're lucky it didn't end the series. I saw FEAR come and go with the same fate...
What is the background song? it's like i recognize it but i cannot remember.
wow an onlyfans tab i see what u did there
🤣🤣
anjai.
I'm happy with 5 and 6 being in B tbh. Was scared they were going to be thrown into D and F
Ink you should make a video in regards to what Resident Evils you think they should remaster. A list of all the games.
So what order should I play then in? I recently finished the first three games (remakes) and now I'm wondering if I should continue with 4 or go back and do 0 and code Veronica.
I still can't believe they haven't made a proper Resident Evil Outbreak game in this time! Resistance is okay.... But it's not Outbreak
Remake was a far more fateful remake then re2make. Id swapped there placement lol
Yeah!
Your grammar is so bad I feel inclined to not listen to your opinion.
@@Weapon-EX6018 the fact u commented tells me otherwise
This video was really entertaining. Sorry, but.... Probably ONE of THE BEST videos you've ever made. There is just something about it that's so good. I wanna watch this video over and over again. I might be weird. But I love this video.
It's ok, we're all weird, in a way...
I don’t think I would have been as forgiving as Kai for some of these (5 and 6 would both be a C on my list) but in general this list is solid. Thanks for all the great content Kai!
Its good revelations 2 got some praise i think its the most underrated re game
Resident evil Deadaim is really fun I played it like a million times when I was younger but my favorites are 2, 3 and outbreaks
Playing with the gun con made it one of my favorite RE experiences.
Am I the only who feels like starting is like jumping halfway into a story? I just started it feeling like something is missing. Didn't hate the game though.
I felt the energy of the thumbnail on a spiritual level
Music choices are always on point
I was surprised at some choices. I thought for sure all first RE classic games would have been S rank.. at least the remake of 1
you could do this 2 ways, rate the game or rate how resi it is.
So good to see someone give REsistance some REcogniton. I had so much playing that game and i dont even like online games.
I’m so happy I found this channel - it’s really nice to hear so much about Resident Evil - the games have always intrigued me (only played 4 all the way through)
Wait the DS version of RE 1 is the best? I own this and the pc remaster lol do I play the ds one instead ?? (Bad habit of buying games but never playing through)
I'm torn between "Everyone is entitled to their opinion" and thinking some of these rankings are straight perplexing.
Which ones? Genuinely curious
Agree
Deadly Silence over REmake?
Nice, playing the song E-102y in the background. Good taste in music.
When you put RE4 in the S column. I automatically subscribed haha!
I was hoping that you'd put the remake of the first Resident Evil into S lol, but still glad to see it in high.
Re4 top tier ? Lol kids these days
Did Anyone Notice..
He Has Only fans Opened In One Tab
Resident evil 1 remake should be S tier, so much new content they added and it looked gorgeous.
Damn we seem to have similar preferences in terms of Re games..... except for Remake. Remake is probably the only Re game I have played and replayed so many times. Played it, along with Re 4 the most.
I don't seem to agree with 7 as well. This is just remake but modernised for the new people. It had some sort of issues and it is clearly noticeable that the entry is very different from previous titles, but probably to me one of the most tense experience ever.

Re zero or more like
RE *C* ro
XD
How did you know I was watching a game tier list just now?
I was thinking to buy RE1 remake cause I didn't catch it right back in the day (the original one) now I'll get the first RE and enjoy it, thanks for ranking
