This timeline is definitely wild. We're simulating CURRENT wars.
Can’t wait for the Taiwan vs china war video
Just like the simulation.
lel I'm literally working on a mod that starts in 2022. Though I doubt I'll get it into a releasable state, it's more of just a hobby project.
I mean chess was around in the middle ages.
Achem! It’s a Special military operation.’ Lol
Don’t worry the AI doesn’t know how to make devisions either

The NATO function is correct. People can choose to join individually, but you're not forced to and the AI often chooses to not join offensive wars. Also the Ethnostates of Myanmar are the different insurgent groups that stand against the military dictatorship which keeps couping the civilian government. Some of which are funded by China to weaken Myanmar, others being eyed by them for possible expansion since they're unrecognized nations.

Murica says no
Yes, easily. Just choose to send condolences over 9/11 when the event shows up and US will not get a wargoal on you \/(-_-)\/ Israel and Jordan will stop your growth though.
While Saudi Arabia and Iran impact your stability from time to time.
@@TheArklytesounds legit
@@TankswillRule it's dumb, but that's how the mod works. You can try to carve out Syria then and, if US somehow attacks Iran, join in carving up Iran too.

Nah, but I do feel kinda' shitty about it.
As we say in Poland "pytasz dzika czy sra w lesie"

Meanwhile Russia is trying to get stuff from China
successfully
-Germany will provide 1 tank on a yearly basis
-United states will provide
10 Billion dollars worth of taxpayer funded equipment

@@catinbeanie it's important to note that most of the stuff isn't brand new so using the price for new equipment isn't accurate. Some of it even saves money because the US doesn't need to pay to decommission it.
You should probably play with Historical AI using this mod 😂
it doesn't really do a difference this mod is kinda wack but it's the best out there for now.
Hello brother
@@jobolf What's wrong about it? I been thinking about buying HoI4 just so I can start playing mods. I've been playing a cracked version for a while but modding cracked copies can be a pain so I think I might just buy it.
@@zackhawn5944 it's just really slow. Like a day can be, at full speed 5 seconds. Otherwise it's great
@@jobolf more like 3 secs, but yeah it takes a while just cause the game has so many additional functions so the ai naturally makes the game slower
Judging by the events of the past year...
Yes, it absolutely can.
Now imagine if the west/nato didnt help ukraine at all, would you still think that? (genuine question)
@@ma-pf9lx fuck no, not even the equipment, its the morale boost with the entire world screaming glory to ukraine
You can thank the US taxpayers
@@ma-pf9lx Russia says that lend lease can't contribute to survival and especially victory more then by 3%(their claim about contribution of allied lend lease in WWII despite all the soviet documents listing shipping contents). So claiming that Ukraine is winning solely due to lend lease speaks more about state of Russia then whatever you try to insinuate:P
@@TheArklyte your comment is quite disingenuous, lets don't compare apples and oranges. The USSR was an industrial powerhouse, Ukraine is not. USSR produced overwhelming majority of its equipment through the war, Ukraine does not and is almost fully reliant on either old soviet stockpiles or western aid. Don't get me wrong, I still think the lend lease program was very important to Soviet victory, but it was more the specialised materials and resources, such as aluminium, octane fuels, food deliveries and locomotives , which were crucial to USSR rather than the mass of western made weapons/vehicles. Ukraine however is pretty much fully dependent on the West for production, repair and financial aid.
Did you play it on historical mode? It looks like this is the max chaos non historical mode lol

Millenium Dawn is mostly focused in the economy. So if you don't spend a minimum of 6 hours fixing up your state, you cannot go to war.
Love your videos thank you for making these
A "print money" button? That is automatically the US governments favorite thing to do.

I have played this mod a few (too many) times, and if you are looking for some recommendations, I know of a few. All from the 2000 start date, but they are fun.
1: Ethiopia. Starts at war with Eritrea and it is an easy win within the first year, if you want the land, or a quick white peace if you do not. It is a medium difficulty start and it takes time to build up (2010-15 in most cases), but you have options of either building an Eastern African Empire by force or diplomacy.
2: India. Also a(n) easy-medium difficulty start, with excellent potential of becoming the most economically powerful country in the world by around 2020-25. If you want to go on the warpath, then reuniting the old Raj borders is an excellent starting point.
3: Brazil. Harder than India but easier than Ethiopia, it has probably the greatest Focus tree outside the major nations. It has enough of all the resources to be fully self-sufficient for the entire game and can be great as a good starter nation when considering becoming better with non-majors in the mod. Warring in the Americas without the Teddy's friends coming around with big sticks is a gamble, but possible if you are clever about it.
4: South Africa. Easiest start of all of them, but can easily become reasonably powerful within a few years if you are patient. You are far enough away from the major nations to prevent you starting anything, but if they intervene it is nearly impossible for you to do anything about it.
5: DRC. While the Congo also starts at war with rebels, those rebels are being openly helped by foreign powers. This is easily the hardest opening and has the most things going against it, but once you are on the other side you will be given an amazing location to project power throughout central Africa. Nigeria is a second option, but it has a different set of problems to deal with.
6: France/Germany into EU: Uniting into the EU is an easy win game, but it also gets rid of a lot of the challenge of the game. Making sure that all European powers enter into your sphere of influence before you tag-switch can be a good challenge, but it would make for a boring video.
7: Uniting Korea: Whichever one you choose to do it with, it will be a hard fight without preparation at best, and impossible with foreign involvement. The South has an easier time with it and it becomes even easier as the years goes on, but it is not impossible for the North to win.

When it comes to millennium Dawn depending on the country it is easy when it comes to political, resource or economically but difficult with divisions because you either need to spend a lot of resources to make good specialized troops or a ton of troops to try make any progress
‘Give Ukraine a fighting chance’
I’m sorry but it’s kicking ass irl? It’s got more then a fighting chance
It's actually not going too well for either side, Ukraine is running out of manpower and Russia is spending way longer than it wanted to.

Awesome video man!
I love how you say “give Ukraine a fighting chance” like they’re not kicking Russia’s butt
It's like how the Afghans were beating the Americans.
Only this time, the "Afghans" are the Ukrainians, and the "Americans" are the Russians.
This not mentioning all the geopolitical nonsense going on with A) Poland and Germany and the whole "tank" debacle.
B) Uncle Sam's good old government meddling, see Vietnam for a good example*.
C) Russian cluelessness followed by the (inevitable) usually "Baby touches hot stove, gets burnt, learns lesson" shtick.
*Vietnam had a dictatorship in the south, the Americans figured the current dictator sucked (true) and got rid of him, not a good idea if you're at war.
I mention Vietnam because of the shit going on in Zelenskies government, it seems to me Uncle Sam wants to put someone more... "Loyal" to their cause, I don't think that worked out in 'Nam.
They aren't lmao
@09jadeen Looks like I found a wild commieboo or someone one large amounts of copium
The problem is that we dont actually know either way. See war is a difficult situation because there is propaganda on both sides. I dont think either perspective of the war is accurate because numbers are going to be fudged by both the west and the east to justify say the United states and its 10 billion dollars of aid or to maintain Russian morale in context of the eastern powers.
There wont be any accurate idea of how this is going likely until a few years after the war is over and its no longer classified information
Lmao they not literally russia is winning

You should play Novum Vexillum since that's the current most updates modern day mod combining millenium dawn alongside other submods (something like that) rather than this. Hence why no Ukraine-Russian War in 2022

There is a whole focus tree about reducing the cost lowering corruption
Watching this was surreal - like we're getting to the point when grand strategy simulators should be turned into real-world tools for leaders and generals.
Oh dude, check out Command: Air and Naval Operations, I'm pretty certain that one was a dumbed down civilian version of an actual training program
If not that one, I know there's a series somewhere like that
@@rustybuttshoe6312 That's cool, I didn't know about that simulator! Though what stands out to me here is the grand strategy layer rather than the tactical e.g. simulating the interest groups and resources in the various countries and how those elements affect the decisions of the leaders. Questions like, how much can Western countries assist Ukraine without causing Russia to escalate? Of course no such simulation of such uncertain events will be perfect, but a simulator in the vein of this HOI mod to learn about the leaders involved and the factors that go into their decisions seems useful for someone getting deeply informed.
For once the HOI4 AI is actually more competent than real life Russia.
I mean, obviously, conquer all of Europe as Germany.

I am Russian, and I don't really want to engage in cannibalism.
When playing 2016 Ukraine, always remember...10% goes for the Big Guy.
Great Video!
- I'd definitely be interested in seeing more M.D., including doing this from a 2000s start. It's a great mod, but not especially stable. You generally want to play it differently to how you'd play HOI4 as you often intervene using agents, volunteers and influence rather than with conventional wars.
- How to fix debt: Just like in real life, do things to increase your earnings (keeping GDP growth high, higher taxes, constructing buildings that improve earnings etc), minimize wasteful spending and pay off your debt. Get your % debt payments to below what you'd get if you invest and then invest instead (so if you get 6% return on investments but your debt is 5% return it is better to invest than pay off debt).
- Influence is a mechanic that gives foreign countries a bunch of ways to mess with you (or you with them). So if a country wants to invest in your country it will help your economy, but give them influence which they could use to harm your country in certain ways.
- Hammurabae is a good channel to check out for guides on things like unit templates and certain mechanics. Basics of units are 1. Air is king. 2. Mechanized Infantry (IFVs) are amazing if you can afford it (build cheaper units early on until your economy can support them). 3. Tanks are niche (powerful but suffer pretty serious penalties on most terrain types, just like in real life).
- That massive tree down the bottom is the EU tree that most European countries have. It allows you to join the EU (if not already), try to gain influence within the EU, influence policies and potentially turn it into a federation ("United States of Europe"). So you can use it to peacefully annex Europe.
- You can choose something in the options menu to make countries less likely to start random wars (though it can be kinda funny).
- EU candidate status is in the EU tree.
I do enjoy seeing you in pain and suffering. Your such a good mind-reader 😊... Jokes aside that's a cool video haha
