Great to see you again, been awhile! Great comedian with superb delivery. The Pearl & Dean reference I think went over your head: Pearl & Dean were a major advertising agency who had a very strident theme tune on their ads which were shown in the cinema.

Ironically, one of the Doctor Who actors, Peter Capaldi - was actually credited as WHO doctor in World War Z before he took the Sci-fi role. He'd been a fan since childhood.
You should watch a show called 'Mock The Week'. Milton is on that too, along with a number of other British comedians. Very funny show.
So the last joke was a dig at English pubs; You know you get Irish themed pubs all around the world? Milton was imagining an English version.. he got it pretty spot on ;)
I'm sure that other's commented on the last vid about Stuart Francis? He's good as well!
I bet it was the "Top most offensive one liners" by Gary Delaney? He does Dad jokes as well and someother tamer stuff ;)

For the Pearl and Dean joke, when going to the cinema we would always get the commercials from Pearl and Dean before the film stared.
Search for "Pearl & Dean Intro - 90s" and you'll get the joke :)

I agree with Gary Delaney I think he comes across as more shock than funny for the one liners
Gary Delaney is very dark humour. It borders on being rude. I love it.
My cat's don't jump on the counter tops. It's not allowed. But I had a dog one time got into the habit of jumping onto the sink to steal soap. We had to put upturned chairs and beer crates on the countertops when we went out to break the habit. Worked a charm. But funny guy and l think your appreciation of humour is great â€ïž

I'm not sure how many clips are available, but I do enjoy some Milton... He used to have a comedy radio show that my family used to enjoy on BBC Radio 4, I think... I forget what it was called...It had his name in the title anyway lol.
"The Very World of Milton Jones", and lots of other varieties. A lot of fun, but I always thought it was a bit difficult to write plots that allowed him to get his gags in.

The moment you mentioned one liners yesterday, I was sure Gary Delaney would come up; with his act of pointless one liners, that go NOWHERE except to lots of his empty dead ends.

There's two ways the aromatherapy joke can go - I laughed with the audience imagining him saying "your houses stink". But he could also switch it up and tell the aromatherapists that "your houses smell really nice"....

Milton is a Christian, so he doesn't swear in his act, unlike so many stand-up comedians who use obscenities to get a laugh.

I'm just teasing, not that I think this is his best performance, but if you didn't enjoy it at all, maybe he's just not for you... Personally I really enjoy his sense of humour though.
