This is a pretty cool deck. I've been dabbling with something like this but with a focus on the FF IV crystal build with Glaciela of course. But I'd also love to give this deck a try. And I keep forgetting about Fusoya for decks like this!

Mr. Steve D of the YYT, what are your thoughts on MtG getting a fully featured Final Fantasy set in the near future? And what impact, if any, that will have on our beloved hometown game?

Rydia is my favorite card in this game, so I always love to see different lists using her. I tried playtesting a bit with a choco/mog and the water/fire and wind/earth moogles so I could get WoL online easier (sometimes also w/ op1 moogle to churn through even faster). I didn't test too much but it felt like I needed to pass up on stronger cards in the deck to accommodate for it.
    Some questions about the deck:
    - Do you miss 5cp hecatoncheir in this deck? Or is cecil + WoL consistent enough at getting online with the new cecil that aggro doesn't feel as much of an issue? I'm mostly worried about the new ice/lightning decks and the new buffs to ff6 are gonna run me down a lot of the time.
    - Would you consider loporrit or miner over thordan to try and get backups online faster for less cp? Or does Thordan pull his weight in this deck well enough? I mostly mention loporrit because it felt really good in testing to bottom a paladin cecil when I didn't need it, so I had it as a search target later, or putting levi 6 back in the deck so it was live for an ex burst again after a shuffle.

My friend, in the second testplay hand you had Sara, Thordan, Princess Sarah and Tyro. You cant make Earth and Fire in the same time for Warrior of Light right ? Overall this is the kind of deck that always makes me cry. Good job !

Finally, a new multicolor deck my friends can hate me for ^^ Do you think there is a deck running both of the new Cecil successfully?

From those sample hands I got feeling FF13 aggro would obliterate this deck :/

Far from it, I consider it a pretty easy matchup. You just need to contest the field a lot faster, and largely ignore Tyro and Thordan hands unless you're already feeling safe.
Made the switch to O15 Porom over O9, which goes a huge way to solving FF13.
But generally, you just play a Cecil into WOL ASAP, then they can't really play FFTCG.

@@YunaYoungTeam I think you overestimate the impact of lone WOL on FF13.
You are presenting a voltron against a well turning mechanism of FF13. Yes, you can use Dark Cecil, to search for Paladin that immediately puts WOL on board, but that does not help anyway in having that WOL in hand. So we are talking about using 3 cards (4 if we have Paladin on hand) plus having a WOL on hand as a dependable counter. Realistically, you should see 3+6 cards in your opening 6/7 cards. This is much more problematic than it sounds, because those 3 WOLs are real problem and the only way you can search them are 5CP Backups, that will be a hard handbrake you will not survive. Unless your dependable search in FF13 matchup is EX from Thordan or Tyro, which has bigger chances of hitting than finding WOL in your opening hand.
I am getting a feeling your WOL tactics also counts on your opponent not knowing you can draw a card out of first party attack.
To sum up, I am not stating WOL does not reduce FF13 speed, I am stating it is not reliable strategy to count on one un-searchable card.
