Quick-play spells power-crept trap cards from the very beginning of the game because you can activate them during your opponent's turn, just like trap cards, provided you set them one turn beforehand. However, you can also activate them immediately from your hand during your own turn and even during the battle phase. That being said, we can infer that, in terms of game design, trap cards are a nerfed version of quick-play spell cards. Trap cards were poorly designed from the start and deserve updated rulings to make them more useful. They’re just too slow for the modern format, and most were even slow in the very first format of Yu-Gi-Oh.

There are multiple "books" within the Bible, like Book of Genesis, but they're all collected into one written text. Books of the Dark World is just their Bible, with all the twisted stories & practices of old.

Book of Moon, Taiyou and Life were actually 1st released in the booster pack Pharaonic Guardian, then over 2 years later in Dark Beginning 2. I also know this because I opened a booster box and got 3 copies of Moon and 4 copies of Taiyou and 3 copies of Life
All Duel Links players have used multiples of Book of Moon in almost every tiered deck in existence. Such a simple but versatile card. 1:55 Since Zexal was my first series, that moment was my introduction to Book of Moon. I’m so grateful the whole extent of its effects in that moment was explained. A great example of why Kite is my favourite character of all time.
I do enjoy reeding a good book especially if it helps me win a duel This is somthing i found out recently if you use book of moon on chimeratech overdragon it loses all its atack points and becomes a 0 atack point monster when flipped back up again
The phenomena you mentioned are astronomical events, while they could have astrological meanings ( I don't know), the facts are more so in the domain of Astronomy and not Astrology as astronomy bases their findings and studies of everything space on scientific research, experiments and observations, whereas astrology is more of the belief that astronomical events affect things on earth. An astronomer will tell you the reason why a star is located where in the sky at night depending on where on earth you are observing it, while an astrologer will tell you something will happen to someone because that star is seen at a certain location. Not an astrologer, just a student in astronomy.

Book of Life is related because the three books were meant to be used in tandem for a style of zombie monsters at the time: monsters whose effect trigger when flipped face up. Fusioh Richie, Wandering Mummy, Des Lacooda, and some others had advantages to being flipped up and down on your terms, giving them further benefit from the "Book of" cards. Heck, a fun trick could be performed with a Spirit monster of all things--Dark Dust Spirit--to effectively Dark Hole the board on demand. 🐍
Dark World Grimoire: a grimoire is a book of magical spells or rituals, so individual "chapters" might be written as The Book of Demons, because each individual chapter is complicated enough that it's going to have lots of subchapters, so it's easier to call it multiple books that are bound together under the same cover. Also series of books, such as The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or academic curriculums, are sometimes rereleased as one bound collection after they've all been published individually.

The funny thing is if you look at the two eclipse cards the artwork somehow got switched. Book of Lunar Eclipse seemingly displays the black moon and diamond ring effect of a solar eclipse and Book of Eclipse shows the shadowed red moon of a Lunar eclipse. I wonder how that accident happened.

There is an astronomical reason for book of lunar eclipse to be a “supercharged” book of moon. During a lunar eclipse the brightness of the moon does increase - although obviously not nearly as much as the solar corona of the solar eclipse.
There is one more “Book of” card out there, but it’s anime exclusive and the name could very well be found only in the dub: Book of Flip, used by Flip and it changes a flip monster back to face down defense position!
If you’re looking for more archetypes: Gimmick Puppets, Chronomaly, Abyss Actors, and if you wanted, you could triple review Fluffal, Edge Imp, and Frightur
The books are not necessarily right to left because of japan, apparently hieroglyphics (which seems to be the language of the books) is also right to left, another option would be arabic which is also right to left, and Egypt is an arabic country.
Konami should make a "Book of Reversal" card that flips your field to your opponent's and vice versa, and make the art a western-style book that reads left to right

Book of Life’s banishing effect can also relate to the book of the dead, as in guiding the dead (graveyard) to the afterlife (banishment)
