I currently attend WGU's School of Healthcare and my 1st term ends 4/30. I've completed around 50 cu's & I'm hoping to graduate by end of my 2nd term in Oct. I'm going right back to complete my Master's. Btw, I started from scratch - which I'm good with! Thank you for this! 🙌🏾
Excellent choice and great progress!! 🤩 We are rooting for you!
@@CollegeHacked Thank you so much!
Thanks in part to this channel I've been helping my husband hack his BSBA. He works full-time and we have 6 kids so he's going a bit slower than finishing in a year. June is the 1 year mark and he'll be at 70+ credits, starting from 0. Plus, his employer is paying for all his TESU courses. His plan is 1 more year to finish up.
All-stars!! 🤩 This was beautifully written and perfectly highlights how he is the one getting the degree, but really you and your whole family have a major hand in that goal! Super inspirational, and we’re honored to have played a small part in your story 😄
You are a keeper! You are a Wonderful inspiration to your husband. Bring him to the finish line.
@@CollegeHackedreview Amberton University, Aspen University, United States University , Southern Utah University (general studies program) $75 per credit hours hacked friendly I transferred in 50 credits
Based on your recommendation, I was accepted at UMPI for the May 6th start in the BA Accounting course yesterday!
Good luck
Congrats.
Congrats!!!!
CONGRATS!! 🤩🤩
Congratulations
Thank you so much for the great information !!!!!!Excellent
I just want to let you know that Purdue let’s you resubmit papers and assignments for full credit. In fact, the ones I have taken required it. My HR class I submitted 3x before getting an A. I think it’s because it’s a competency based program that they want to ensure that you have mastery over the subject before you move onto the next module.
Nice! Was that ExcelTrack (no deadlines) or was it a standard program with weekly deadlines?
@@CollegeHacked oh, yes. It is excel track.
Plus you are a boilermaker!!!!
I was just thinking, when is College Hacked making the 2024 list... this was a pleasant surprise 🎉
It’s here! 🥳
Thanks for sharing the advantages of UMPI! I had never heard of this school until stumbling across your channel. I’m enrolled in their history/polysci degree. I already have a bachelor’s but want to get another degree in a subject I enjoy. They took all of my undergraduate credits and all I have to do is take the major courses. So great! Thank you so much for providing this resource! 😊
This is awesome!! 🤩🤩 So glad we could help, and happy studying!
Liberty is a lot cheaper for Vets and some first responders. Last I saw the military rates were $250 for undergraduate and $275-$300 for graduate hours.
Fantastic, right?? 🥳
I appreciate you making these every year.
You’re so welcome! 😄
Thank you for all the information you're putting out there. Thanks to your reviews, my husband just submitted his application at UMPI for the Liberal Studies program. We are very grateful!
We are cheering you guys on!! He may be the one completing it but we know the whole family sacrifices, you got this 👏🏼👏🏼
So crazy I just found this channel a couple days ago and looking to start @Umpi . Great Video I definitely need a consult I sent an email had a question. I told my daughter who is at GSU to start hacking classes ASAP and save money as I’m now on the hook for previous college debt hers and my own 🙄😕. This time I’m looking to do it differently this time. Keep doing all the great work.
UMPI is great. I just currently started. 1800.00 for a Bachelors. This is wonderful 6 months completion.
Awesome!! We hope to see you in a session soon 😄 Love that you put your daughter on notice 😂👌🏼
Graduate program at SNHU… love my experience so far!
I stumbled upon your video one day last year, and now I will be graduating in May at UMPI. I cannot thank you enough!
WOW! 🤩 Feel free to tell me more about your story! clifford@collegehacked.com
After getting my undergrad at my state public school and having taken online, hybrid and traditional classes there I am really enjoying the MBA program at WGU. I’ll be wrapping it up in the next few weeks. Perfect since I work full time and no busy work. Highly recommend to literally anyone I know who wants to go back to school for a degree they offer. I only just learned about degree hacking so of course I’ll be adding that info now too now. I was initially worried they were a diploma mill after seeing an ad while watching TV one night, lots of research to make sure and do not regret, too bad I didn’t hear about the school sooner.
SO great to hear your experience with WGU has been great! Many people who don’t understand them will call them a diploma mill. But proctored finals make it more secure than a number of big “prestigious” online programs in our book!
Because of your videos I enrolled into Liberty University less than a year ago. Almost finished with my first year and i honestly can’t complain although I’m at SAHM who isn’t as busy, I get to finish my class work faster and I truly believe the work is manageable even with a busy schedule, I mostly seen two assignments per week , or sometimes three for each class you take per semester. If your taking two classes per semester that’s just 4 assignments per week
🤩 Excellent feedback, thanks for sharing and congrats!!
Is the courses mostly essay based or exam and essay focused?
Just got my M.A. from SNHU. It was great.
Is SNHU a college that's fairly possible to attend full time while working full time?
@@thedawnslayer5473yes if you wanna do 1 class per term it might take longer tho. Unless you do everything on Sophia
@@thedawnslayer5473 Yep. It's structured with people who work full-time in mind. I did it and it totally worked.
Absolutely I am doing it now... will graduate Fall this year
Can u review ASU in a more in-depth video. Id love to learn more about it. Thank you 👍
They don’t allow enough hacking for us to do a full video on them 😔 But maybe someday they will!
'CollegeHacked' includes them on a list of colleges to hack. Why would you think they're a college to hack, you twit
The injustice for UMGC, got me all excited with the thumbnail. It’s a great school for military!
Haha! Sorry 😅
Do you have a video on bachelors concentrations and if you think they’re valuable? Purdue has one for project management. I took the first class of it and it was basically everything you learn if you take intro to Scrum. All on the agile methodology. I will say they did go over other methodologies and how they differ. I think my electives are maxed out, just from all my transfers and stuff I did on Sofia. So adding a concentration would be on top, and I’m wondering if the payoff is worth the effort.
For PM in particular, a PMP is infinitely more useful than the specialization, and costs a lot less 😜 At Purdue the PMP actually transfers in as the whole concentration, if I remember correctly. But to answer your actual question, we think specializations are a waste of free elective space in 95% of situations. But if it’s the only PM geared classes you’ll touch in your degree and you want the ability to write something like “with specialized college classes in topics like…” in your cover letter (so if there’s a plan for why you’re going out of your way to take them), then it could be worth it :)
I will look into Liberty University as a back up college. I still have my heart set on Excelsior University. I prefer to take one course every 8 weeks.
Question for the upcoming q&a: I saw on the internet a lot of people talking down on Harvard’s Extension School, saying it’s only for people chasing prestige and that employers know it’s isn’t “real Harvard”. My question is, do u think it’s better to go to a school like ASU which shows no indication of being online on the degree vs schools known as online?
Good topic! We will include it
I'm from the Dominican Republic, which university (computer science) is the best fit for international students? Thank you, great work you guys are doing!!
Thomas Edison State University 👍🏼
I am in my MPH program at LUO and I feel like they are the Chick-fil-a of colleges. Very helpful.
Haha! Might have to steal this one
What do you think about Indiana Wesleyan University specifically their B.S. Global security and strategy management. Basically do a review on schools that cater to the military
A military video is forthcoming! Liberty and WGU are particularly high on the list.
I'm about to graduate from SNHU with my bachelors in Communication Studies, would it make more sense to continue at SNHU to get my degree in Business Administration, or switch to a school like UMPI for that? Looking for the fastest and/or cheapest options.
Are you saying you want a second bachelors next, or a masters? :)
A second bachelors degree. @@CollegeHacked
Can you please review Penn state global campus! I’m a student there and feel like I’m only there for the name at this point because it’s expensive and I haven’t had the best experience with them.
They aren’t hackable, so we don’t spend much time thinking about them, but if you’re not happy with your experience definitely jump ship. That’s a mega price tag to be unhappy with your experience. You could always take your credits and go to UMPI for a bachelors degree that costs $6k or less :)
I am undecided between UMPI and Liberty, I like the athletics program at Liberty.
Liberty is an average of $14k fully hacked, UMPI is $5,500 but doesn’t have the awesome D1 facilities and such 😝 Life is all about tradeoffs!
can you do a review on Arkansas State University, apparently they have degrees online and are credit transfer friendly, up to 90 credits@@CollegeHacked
UMPI is for people who want to go faster and take larger amounts of courses per semester. Liberty charges per credit hour.
Can you make a video for those who want a more quality curriculum/education but also hackable and perhaps on the affordable side as well? Or maybe not so affordable lol but definitely hackable!
😂 If you find a school like that, let us know! 😉
Umpi isn't what I thought. I have submitted my official transcripts from both sophia and from my college. And, was told I had 23 classes to complete my degree. Mind you, I have 83 credit hours completed through sophia and have my associates degree as well. Something doesn't sound right. I had my application withdrawn.
If you applied into a structured major, that would make sense. Having classes to transfer is great, but if they aren’t the same classes the new degree requires, only some of them can actually be utilized. If you were to reapply into a Liberal Studies major you’d see a lot more classes accepted :)
What’s your opinion about the Walden Tempo program?
Walden is on the same level as University of Phoenix in our book. There are better schools :)
Would a UMPI BLS with all the possible CS courses be the same as a CS bachelors in terms of getting a work visa for the US?
Would it be the same in terms of getting a job for American employers?
Unfortunately UMPI doesn’t offer CS, so if you go the BLS route the only CS content you’ll be able to put in the degree are a few Sophia and Study classes. While the degree would technically check the box most employers need checked in order to interview you, you’re unlikely to have the same practical skills as someone with either a CS degree, or years of experience.
What are your thoughts on the University of Florida online program?
Good school, just not hackable so we don’t talk about them much
Thank you
These types of videos are a great source of information for non-standard students especially.
However, I think it would be interesting if you could make a video pushing back against the anti-college sentiment that has become popular in recent years, especially online pushed by different influencers.
They especially seem to criticize non-stem college degrees as being a waste of time and even pushing people to drop out and pursue careers in trades instead, considering opportunity costs and average salaries.
I think they may be causing harm to younger people especially, by convincing them that going to college in general is a scam, so offering some more push back against that narrative could be helpful.
This is a great idea. We covered this recently in email newsletter format, but a video on it is a good idea. Thanks!
What is the best school for a BS in accounting? No prior transfer credits..
Best meaning most hackable? UMPI YourPace Accounting :)
currently at Thomas Edition State University having to fulfill 15 unit residency requirements this april. Wish I could pay the 3000$ residency requirement waiver.
The good news is they do have TECEPs to help with time/cost :)
What are your thoughts on Strayer University? I'm currently enrolled in their accounting program, and worried about how they're viewed in the real world since they're a for-profit school. Thanks
Here’s our video on Strayer! There are better schools :) Strayer University Review | Any Good for Busy Adults?

Goodnight Clifford. If you are at 115 credits with UMPI in your BLS management can you apply to the MAOL?
Unsure about UMPI specifically! If you find out, let us know 😋
@@CollegeHacked I found out today. At UMPI if you finish in this session you can start the application for MAOL. But you have to let your advisor know that you plan to finish in this spring session or whatever session you choose. This school is amazing fast and has a flat tuition and a great option for a working adult.
Would be awesome to see a video on Georgia techs online program from what I’ve read it’s about $180 a credit and you get an identical agree to those who go in person.
Nice! We’ll have to look into it 🔎
An old Navy buddy of mine was in Georgia Tech's MS in Cybersecurity. I saw it on Edx a few years ago and told him about it. It was kicking his butt so he dropped out a few times. I'm not sure if he plans on going back.
@@lawrenceq79 Yeah i heard it's very hard but still seems like a great opportunity trying to learn more about it right now!
@@jaredrego7642 You can't beat that price for the name.

As a first time college student having taken 2 gap years due to personal reasons.. and also being 19 and even more reasons im not currently able to go to physical school as well is online college a good path to take to get an associates degree in business. If so what online college would best be fit for that?
You can get an accredited bachelors degree in one year for about $6k, so we recommend that over an associates. Unless the AA is for a trade or licensure :)
@@CollegeHacked Do you know what school would be best for that and do they take fafsa?
@@issacgutierrez2473There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a school (delivery method, cost, student experience, etc), so that would be better covered in a session :) You can book at collegehacked.com!

Which of these schools have the best or most credible psychology, counseling, or behavioral health programs ?
IU university of applied Sciences
Liberty University has great ones!
What are your thoughts on Pace University online master programs?
I’d like to know this too
Excellent school. Private, non-profit. Not hackable, expensive, and competitive, so not one we’d spend a lot of time talking about 😉
Hello I’m working mother of four and i want to go back to school online and get my associates or bachelors. The YourPace degrees at UMPI would fit your needs 😄
Do you work with veterans with gi bill benefits?
Yes, and so do these schools! 🥳
Are these universities completely online? or should we go to the campus for our semester exams? If so can you please suggest me some universities that are completely online including the sem.
All the schools we talk about offer completely online programs. :)
whats my options as an international student other than UOTP ?
thank you
Every school we mention except for Western Governors University!
Does grand canyon university accept straighterline?
If they do, they don’t make it easy to find
TESU B.A. -> WGU M.S. -> best online DBA (excluding liberty university)?
We recently became aware of South College and their CBE DBA option 😄 What criteria are you most focused on-speed, learning, student experience, cost, etc?
Well, interesting. For me the experience is important, then the cost. I’m pretty open, just started exploring. I think graduation rate speaks a lot for these programs so I’ve been looking at that metric as well
As an immigrant in the United States this is a great opportunity for me.
It is indeed! 😄
please do research on Chamberlain University. The school is popular but super expensive.
It’s for-profit, which is why it’s expensive and also why we don’t recommend it. It’s owned by DeVry, which has a similar reputation to University of Phoenix. A much better path to RN is through a local hospital program, and then you can roll that into an RN to BSN program online, like WGU offers!
Hello I am mid 40 and I have been working in IT for 20 years. I have Bachelor Degree in CS in Vietnam 20 years ago and relocated to US thru work (H1B). I am planning transitioning to education career (Elementary/Special Eds) in about next 5 years. I can study up to Master in Education. I am a full time job and a mom now. What are your recommendations for me to study with my pace, may be slow with affordable tuition and flexible time? Thank you very much.
Check out Western Governors University! Flexible, work at your own pace, lots of education major options at the undergrad and grad level :) You got this!

Thank you for all the information you provide. I’ve decided to stay with UMPI. I just have one question, what type of courses/credits are accepted as electives?
Just about any Sophia course! Just not the math ones with the word “foundational” in them :)
Once you're accepted at UMPI and have an account with them, you will have a link to look up what transfers. I think the list is a little outdated but still helpful.
@@Plantsonpurpose thank u, I found it!
@@brandonstews238 Fantastic!
What degree will you be pursuing? I will be doing Project Management and plan on getting the MAOL also. You can take three classes as an undergrad that can be credited to your Master's degree in case you didn't know this
Should we do our credits on Sophia first before enrolling or do you need to be enrolled in a Online school first?
We usually recommend Sophia first! But it depends on whether there is other transfer credit involved.
@@CollegeHacked what if there are other transfer credits involved?
@@MrsShah-xn1xf It depends on the school policies, which credits have been completed already, and the desired timeline. Sometimes it makes sense to hack while at the school, but usually it doesn't. Some schools don't allow you to hack anymore once you've started courses with them. Every case is unique!
Best for computer science or data analytics ? Need to do it fast?
Western Governors or Purdue University Global!
I’m worried that graduation so fast means I’m not learning or retaining much of what I learn in the pursuit of a quicker degree.
You’re potentially right about that. It’s up to each individual to make the right decision for their life about how to approach earning the degree. The needs of an 18 year old aren’t going to be the same as a 50 year old in their terminal career who wants a degree for personal satisfaction reasons. Hacking isn’t inherently good or bad, it just is. The way you use it is up to you. You can fly through Sophia classes as fast as possible and learn next to nothing, or you can take the time to read and learn the material that is in the courses.
@@CollegeHacked is there a way to balance the two? Or like certain classes it don’t really matter learning? Like general courses?
Greetings Sir,
Can you please guide me? I have an associates in Nursing and been working for 10 years. I don’t want to do BSN but just a simple bachelor’s degree in some easy subject so I am able to get the director of nursing positions. Can you please guide me of what program to choose. I am 41 years old and work full time. Thank you
We can definitely help! For a plan to get you graduated with an accredited bachelors degree in 1 year for $6,000 you can book a consultation at collegehacked.com 😄
@@CollegeHacked thank you, let me look into it. Is the payment of 395 is correct?
I’m trying to go into bachelor’s computer science and want to complete it fast and easy. I’m a veteran looking for better opportunities. Which college will help me because full sail is not for me.
The computer science ship has sailed if you’re looking for easy, particularly since ChatGPT started coding. Before the tech bubble popped it was a good direction, but now it’s extremely difficult to get a job in that industry without working very hard in addition to having a degree. Also, computer science is one of the harder majors in general so I don’t know of any school with that major where I would call it easy. Check into accounting and supply chain management for better opportunities that are still easy to transition into.
@@CollegeHacked okay thank you.
UMPI currently has one Masters option. Do you know of any other affordable or competency based Masters programs within the University of Maine System?
Not yet! But they have said they plan to add more :)
I'm from south korea and about to enroll UMPI but I've never thought they accept students over 20 yo.
I need one more year to enroll😥
Maybe you can hack on Sophia.org and Study.com while you wait? 😄

TESU and SNHU both have hackable ones!
What about Champlain College?
It’s on the list for a review! Looks great so far, but I’m not seeing the CBE option I’ve been told about yet :)
So this may be a weird question given the affordability of these schools. Do any of them accept Financial Aid?
All of them, actually 😄 They aren’t necessarily that affordable on their own, they become affordable when you hack them! 👏🏼
Why not UMGC?
There are just better, more hackable schools for the vast majority of majors they offer.

Do you have good experiences with them? We’d love to hear! We hear a lot of bad things
So we're paying for degrees now? Is that how worthless they have become
If that’s what you gathered from this video then I’m afraid you’ve missed the point.
@@CollegeHacked I see the point of the video I agree with everything you have to say it just feels useless to get a degree now and it sucks that some jobs require it when people are more than capable of doing those jobs without degrees
It's BS that society wants you to have degrees im going to college and literally it's all common sense I don't even feel like continuing I feel like I'm getting dumber lol
@@albertoguadiana1008What you just said is exactly how we felt before College Hacked was born, and we agree with you that there should be a better way, and that’s why we do what we do. And as it turns out, there has been a better way for many years but most people don’t know about it. Our department of education has sanctioned an alternative way to complete college for much less, and a bunch of schools even specifically support it and allow for it! And yet… people question it or don’t know about it and so things largely stay the same.
I don’t know what school you’re at or what your goals are, but chances are good at least some of what we’re talking about here can be applied to your degree. The trick is just to find out what you truly need to spend time on, and what you can get through faster that won’t hurt you later.
Im not going to lie I really can't stand religious schools
Same! 😅
I love them !
What are your thoughts of Illinois Tech MBA?
High quality, but there are faster and cheaper schools that will more than adequately meet the needs of most people.
