If you want a college degree, but don't want to spend a fortune on tuition, and want to graduate faster... Degree Hacking is the fastest, most affordable way to earn a college degree.
What is Degree Hacking?
Degree Hacking is a simple step by step process that can help you earn an entire Bachelor’s Degree in as little as 6 Months. The process teaches you how to graduate WITHOUT textbooks homework, quizzes, group projects, lesson plans, study guides and more…
Who is Ryan Swayt?
I was a 2 time college dropout working a $12 an hour job, with a family to support. I was desperate for a better future. Long story short, I found a better way. I earned an entire Bachelor’s Degree in just 9 months and found a career I love. This process has changed my life, now I want to teach others how to do the same.

you are awesome for this my sir.
Thank you kindly!
Okay , please try to check
I transferred 113 credits via Sophia, Study, Google and military training into Excelsior University. I only had to take 7 credits to graduate. 3 came from the Cornerstone, 1 from Information Literacy, 3 credits came from the Capstone. Two courses in one 8 week session and the final capstone course in the
next 8 week session. 16 weeks total at Excelsior and under 8 months with Sophia; Study and Google Certificates
This is amazing! Congrats!
What was your major.
WGU also accepts up to 75% of the program credits from alternative institutions like Sophia, Study and CLEP. You do have to check what credits are transferable they're program specific.
But does exelsior university have proctored exams?
@@RumziFanboy not for the three courses I took. A buddy of mine was taking five courses for his bachelor’s in National Security and he said he had no proctored test. I guess it depends on the major and what year you’re technically in. Good question though because I think Excelsior uses Proctor U for some stuff.
I'm attending UMPI at the moment. I decided to take the summer off this year because I wanted to focus a little more on my first career and my new business. But I can tell you that the competency-based program I'm in is great I didn't think that I would like it but it's actually pretty cool. The most time I've ever spent on a course was a full month but most of the courses I Finnish them in 2 weeks. I did however Finnish 1 course in a week but only because I had a lot of time on my hands to do so lol but for the most part the program is a breeze if you pay attention.
That's amazing! You're doing great. If you want to go faster, most people who work with me shoot for 1 to 3 classes per week. Here's a look at my program if you're interested: www.DegreeHackingAcademy.com
Please excuse my typos, as I am using speech to text, don’t really have time to edit and considering this is not the standard online I’m going to leave it as is.
As a married, mom of 3, (45f), I'd love to accelerate a college degree in Business (or Cybersecurity if possible). I just happened upon your page so, I'm still working my way through your videos. Thanks for the content.
Both business and cybersecurity can be done quickly. Shoot me an email and I'm happy to help you map out a path... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
I’ll be graduating with my bachelors from Excelsior University in April!
They’ve accepted a total of 111 transfer credits, so I only need to take three classes online at Excelsior.
Very cool, congratulations!
How long did those classes take ?
@@lulubayou1897 I got my first credits in September 2022, so it took me about a year and three months.
what degree?
Does exelsior university have proctored exams though?
It's also worth noting that Charter Oak, Excelsior, and TESU allow you to fulfill all of your degree requirements with transfer credit with the exception of two required classes. You don't have to take a full-time course load to complete those two classes (so you don't need a full year). Full-time enrollment is not a requirement at those schools (unlike at WGU). Albeit, WGU allows half-time enrollment for Military students.
Yep, so glad you mentioned this. Thanks! Charter Oak does have a path to only taking 2 classes. It's very rare but if you have over 120 credits earned, it's worth looking at. A vast majority of students will fall into the 90 transfer credit criteria. And TESU does have a path for that as well, if you're willing to pay their added residency waiver fee. It's more complicated, but possible.
Thanks again for the comment!
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 My wife has over 120 credits but TESUs "pay us to waive the minimum credit requirements" makes it look like a money grab.
Yep, totally agree. It's pretty frustrating.
Hi, is there a way I can reach out to you directly.
Shoot me an email... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
Can you do a video on how you get through one of these classes? say like you finish a class in a week. Would love to see how you did that.
I go into more detail here: www.DiplomaSecrets.com
Hope this helps!
Hello. Thank you for your videos. Can you please recommend an university that regional accreditation with accelerated bachelor degree programs for business major and accept transferring a credits from 3rd party exams?
There are several I like. It depends how many transfer credits you have. Shoot me an email with more info and I'll give some suggestions. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
I had some questions regarding the My Path Flexible degrees offered by the University of Massachusetts-Global (specifically for the BS in Information Technology program).
First of all, will the diploma be earned through University of Massachusetts or U Mass Global is considered a distinct institute? Essentially, in the diploma, will it be written as “University of Massachusetts” or “University of Massachusetts-Global”?
Secondly, will the transcripts contain letter grade translated into based on the mastery level from the competency based model or will it simply state as “completed”?
Please answer these questions for me. Thank you in advance for your help.
For U Mass Global specifically, the word "Global" will be included on the diploma. And I believe they use a Pass/Fail grading system.
Great informative video! Do you know of any schools offering a fast track BS/BA degree in music?
Unfortunately, Music is one of those Majors that isn't normally offered online. But you can probably hack a Bachelor's Degree, then get into a traditional Master's in Music program... You'd likely end up with a Master's faster than if you just did the Bachelor's traditionally. If that's something you're open to exploring, shoot me an email and I'll see if I can help you map something out (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
This is amazing information. I’m looking to go back to school for a teaching degree. I don’t intend on taking more than 12-18 months to finish this degree. Would you be able to assist me with finding schools?
Absolutely. Just shoot me an email with a little more detail about what you're looking for and I'll see what I can do to help. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
You're such an inspiration to me. I've been watching many of your videos, and I'm really grateful because there isn't much information about online degrees on the web. Recently, I came across the story of a woman who graduated from U of People and successfully got into law school. I checked her social media accounts, and everything she said seemed genuine. But I can't help but wonder if there are other universities that might offer more options than U of People, or perhaps have a quicker path to graduation. Additionally, I'm curious if it's acceptable to skip attending a traditional four-year college before going to law school.
You'll need a Bachelor's Degree before Law School. But yes, there are better and faster options than U of the People. Shoot me an email (ryan@9monthgrad.com) and I'll help you map something out.
What are your thoughts on Purdue Global? Are they accredited? Thanks!
They offer "Excel Track" programs that are very cool. Yes, they are Regionally Accredited.
Current UMPI student and it’s extremely tedious. Transferred in about 60 hrs. Just no way I can do a class in a week especially while working full time
Plus one here, no wayy finish a.class a week, 3 weeks for me is ideal. Don't forget the 8 weeks term has draft due date in week 6 and final in week 7
Thank you so much for sharing. If you want to get done faster, please let me know. I may be able to help. Just email me at (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
What about grad degrees
Have you spoken to anyone who finished Uni of wiscousin flex program?
Not many, but a few. You have to have an Associate's to get admitted (but they also have a flex Associate's degree). And the curriculum seems more challenging than some other schools. I wouldn't plan on going as fast as you would with some of these other schools. But it's a solid school!
If anyone has anything to add, please reply below. We'd love to hear more about your experience with some of these less common programs.
I’ve looked at a lot of these programs, but all have requirements like age or credits, what can I do if i want to do it straight after high school?
Shoot me an email with more info about your situation and goals. I'll help you find a solid school... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
I live in Indiana. Where is the best online college for me to get my Master’s in Public Health accredited by CEPH?
I don't know of any self paced Master's programs in Public Health specifically. But there are some solid programs in Healthcare Leadership or Administration... Shoot me an email if you're open to something similar, but not exactly Public Health. I'm happy to help you find a path... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
I did 2 years of ISSA to get 9 Certifications for personal training, exercise, therapy, nutrition, etc. have no college credits really need to get a bachelors in business or exercise science fast. What is the best option?
Shoot me an email with a little more info about your situation and career goals and I'll help you map something out. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
Do you have any information about biomedical engineering in any fastest universities
There aren't many options for accelerating Engineering Degrees. I usually suggest "Hacking" something like Computer Science for the undergrad, then jumping into a more traditional Master's program for Engineering. It saves you a few years overall and you walk away with a higher degree in the end.
what would you recommend for an international (EU) student looking to study CS?? i dont want to get some general IT degree, CS is absolutely king for getting programming jobs
CS is a tough one for International Students. I love WGU's CS program, I have seen a few International Students get special permission for acceptance. I'd try to get in if possible.
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 I sent them an email and they responded with a no :(. What is the next best one? would third party credits really look that bad? I was thinking SNHU or TESU. Thanks in advance bro
What do you mean by they are hackable? I’m interested in attending WGU and looking to complete within a year
When I say "Hackable" I mean that the program you've chosen is 100% self paced, and can be done in less than a year. And that you can self study without having to jump through the schools hoops.
WGU's average grad time is about 3.5 years. But their programs are hackable. So under a year is possible if you do it right.
If you're serious about getting it done fast, shoot me an email (ryan@9monthgrad.com). I can likely help you save a ton of time.
I lived in Liberia. Can you recommend any Online University that offers Bsc in Procurement or Logistics & Supply Chain Management? Am also interested in selfpace and low cost.

Do competency based colleges (Texas A&M Commerce) offer financial aid?
Yes. You can get financial aid for any Regionally Accredited University. It shouldn't be any different.
I am very curious to ask if you found any online schools that can be hacked that offer a PhD degree?
Capella has a few Competency Based Doctorate programs.
Great video! Question, i currently have an associates degree and some credits twrd a bachelors, will i complete my bachelors even faster then 9mo?

How about Selinus University of Scoence?
To my knowledge, they don't have any Competency Based programs but I may be wrong. I'd reach out and see if they have 100% self paced programs that allow you to test out of your classes.

Hi Ryan,
Atif here, I am an Indian not residing in the US, therefore, I would like to know which university is gonna be the most economical and preferable option for me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other domain.
I have got the requirements for admission in place and am just awaiting for a perfect university to enroll into.
Kindly advise..

SNHU still offers CBE to US residents you just have to sign up through local community affiliate (within the US)-- they released a video on this a month or so ago. czcams.com/video/RrJ4ZZ6JgoU/video.html
Also, Although TA&M Commerce is part of the same University system as TA&M they are separate institutions and separately accredited. Great information on UoPX! It's good to know that not all CBE programs are created equal!
If you know how to access their CBE program specifically, please shoot me an email and let me know. (ryan@9monthgrad.com). I've reached out to them several times and their staff will continue to say that they no longer allow CBE enrollment. I've seen their ads, but I can't find any employee there that will show how to get in.
If you're willing, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Do we get credits just by watching the lectures or by writing some exam OFFLINE
You have to actually prove to the school that you've learned the material. Some schools use proctored exams, some use projects and assignments.

Which one is cheap
All schools are expensive. But these are cheaper options. But if you are willing to apply like crazy for scholarships, any of these can be free in the end. I teach students how to hack scholarships all the time.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 you have a link to that video on how to get scholarships? lol
First!
For any of these high-end jobs, especially but not limited to the IT industry no one gives a shit about where you got the credits. In fact, they’re not really going to look at anything other than a GPA on your bachelors degree and they’re going to go straight to your masters degree which you are going to need to get these jobs anyway. if you can clip out 90% of your credits, go for it and find a school that will take them and get the bachelors degree from there and then take a masters program somewhere else. It will not be hard to get into them going forward as you have a ton of people who want nothing to do with going to college so the colleges ability to stay afloat is dependent on getting students which there is a dearth of because of cultural reasons, bachelors degrees are worthless even if in stem fields like chemistry or physics, and becoming population implosion, which is a result of people, not having enough kids to replace them selves and is set to happen in the next five or six years all over the world, except in those places that it has already begun.
