Apologies for the reupload. I added new music from Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra after their very generous offer to let me use their 2019 performance of La Mer. Huge thanks to the orchestra and to Benjamin Mitchell.

First of all thanks for your great videos! For the harp at minute 8:35 you just picked an example of what we do not like so much because of side noises when pressing a pedal while the string is still vibrating - Eses and Asas or E and A double flat do not exist on the harp thus have to be enharmonically played as D and G thus you have to press the pedal afterwards to get the G flat + D flat which follows - no chance to damp the strings in such passage before pushing the pedal. I know it is difficult for composers to keep in mind how the harp part has to be executed regarding the pedals. Just for the information I am studied harpist and composer as well, and even I have to check it on the harp when I write something a bit more demanding with some more pedal work.

Such insightful analysis, thank you for sharing and drawing attention to this master work and, not only, how to even begin to approach 'What are the innumerable, and salient axioms that can be gleaned from such a work, moment by moment?' Thank you for transparently sharing your process of analysis 🙏
