You're doing it right. Listen to the studio version first, then get blown away by the live version. On this song, album version is better than video version because it is a long song which gets cut off in the official video, but you will at least get a better idea of the lyrics before diving in to Alchemy Live. There is a missing verse from the video that he sings live, though.

Damn you are doing all the songs i was going to ask for, stay out if my head, Dire Strait great band, i think the live version is better, fight me on this lol lol, come on get uo and groove, i can see you and Mrs Doge danceing to this, definitely love this, felt it was too short, going to have to listen again, yes money for nothing great song, thanks, lots of great songs, keep them coming, how about Highway to Hell AC/ DC, lol lol, no it doesn't mean what you think it means, I think you liked it because of the guitars in it, oh before I forget I think the sultans of swing it was based on a lousy band that was in a jazz club they were in and they decided to do a song about the band.
