I also install the rear seat conversion from bench seat to 60/40 seat. When all of that is done I show and install the maximum size subwoofer box that can fit behind the seat without moving the seat.

    question - I followed the wiring diagrams (2013 King Ranch seats in a 1999 Ford F250 diesel), but the horizontal forward backward wouldn't work - I got a new switch, didn't help. Did anyone else have this problem? (I thought it might be a bad "new" switch, and bought another - still no horizontal forward/reverse, even though it by directly hot wiring the motor. (?) Great video - best I found! It helped me not trip the airbag, and told me that green is hot and black is ground from original vehicle.

    • @shooshinejonnie
      @shooshinejonnie  Před 3 lety

      I'm not sure on that part. You can leave it off and see what it does. The 2000 had no issues. If it does, you'll have to figure out how to wire to "close" the loop if you want it off. Or you could leave it so it buzzes.

    • @shooshinejonnie
      @shooshinejonnie  Před 4 lety

      Yes. So what you'll need to do, since I don't have the pin outs for an F-150, is find the electrical diagrams for a 2002 and 2003. You can get by with only the electrical diagrams for the 2003 since you can find the power and ground from your truck's harness with a multimeter. You'll need to know the power and ground of your seats so you can connect those two wires together. Or you can bypass everything that's there now and run new wires and put a new fuse block in as I did with my passenger seat. If you have any more questions you can reach out to me at shooshinejonnie@gmail.com.

      @@vtwinpower1897 I'm not sure which way to send you on what to look for. I would guess they're all going to take quite a bit of modification. If you're just looking for seats I would start with F-150 or super duty seats. Find which ones the cheapest and grab a set and do some experimenting. Or maybe go to the junkyard and pick up a cheap set of busted up ones so that you can use the mounting brackets to figure out what you need. The f250s are just a little bit wider than the F-150 as far as seats go. I know there's some videos of other guys doing the super duty interiors into an OBS. I don't have any links.

      Absolutely. You can swap the seats but you would have to go with an 08-10 console. Those consoles don't go all the way to the dash.

      @@shooshinejonnie yea i bought the set that has the center flip up to a seat or down to a consol. The 04 consol is back from the bottom of the seat about 5 " and the 11 come out flush with the bottom of the seat. I mesured but its nice to hear from someone who knows for sure.. thanks

      @@n1uk214 as far as I know the center fold down seats are interchangeable so I'd be very surprised if it didn't work. You'll have to test it for yourself or you could check on the Facebook group "powerswap nation".

      I don't believe it's a direct bolt in. They changed everything. I'm sure something could be fabricated to make it work.

      @shooshinejonnie  Před 5 lety

      You could check under the flooring to see if you have power. If you don't you could do the driver's seat like I did my passenger seat and wire it up yourself.
