"Who else wants a Cillian Murphy Scarecrow origin movie ? "
Me but only if it's going to be directed by Christopher Nolan.
Scarecrow was the perfect secondary villain for this movie.
Batman blames his childhood fears for the death of his parents. He seeks out a way to turn fear against criminals. But it's only after he confronts his deepest fears that he can prevail.
By the time Batman had his final showdown with Ra's al Ghul, he wasn't afraid of anything. And that's why he prevailed.
Nora farron yes I totally agree
I love that scene where The Scarecrow's like, "Dr. Crane isn't at the phone right now". 😂
On a serious note, scenes like that give us a reason as to why he's not affected by the gas he dispersed throughout the city. It's because like Batman, The Scarecrow's not really afraid of anything. And, The Scarecrow likes to use his fear to his advantage but for all the wrong reasons.
@@TheSBleeder a good primary one too I mean look at the game Batman Arkham knight.
@@DoctorWhoKage Also he was immune to it because of the antidote
"He's here"
'Who?"
"The bat-man!"
One of my favorite lines in the whole trilogy. Cillian delivers it so fuckin well
Yes!!!! My favorite line as well
He perfectly combines condescension of Batman and the teetering on the edge of insanity
Agreeeee! The way he looks around with admiration/trepidation is burned into my memory.
Absolutely love Cillian Murphy. I’m jealous my sister got to meet him when she was at a play in Ireland a couple years ago. (I’m American)
There is no actor who could ever possibly play a better Scarecrow
‘Everything Great About Batman Begins’
#1: Cillian Murphy’s perfect casting
It’s quicker just to play the entire trilogy
Very true. I love his Scarecrow so much, sadly we didn't get enough
I"ll never forget being eight years old in the movie theater, thinking I was watching the wrong movie for the first 10 mins.
Honestly same. I didn’t see it in theaters, but the only thing that kept me convinced it was a Batman movie was that Christian bales character was named Bruce Wayne. At that time the only Batman villains i really knew were joker, penguin, catwoman. I had no idea who ras al ghul was, and I remember at the end thinking “Liam Neeson was cool and all, but I wish they made scarecrow the villain” cuz scarecrow was a guy in a mask. Of course eventually I grew up, I figured out who ras al ghul was, and now he’s up on my top 3 Batman villains with the other 2 being joker and two face
Omg i thought i was the only one who thought so😂

Two things. Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon is inspired and I can no longer buy anyone else in that role.
The final scene where he finds the Joker's card is actually chilling now that we know what would follow.
Believe in J Jonah Jameson, man. Come on!
That dialogue between Gordon and Batman in that scene before the credits is timeless.
Ben mckenzie from the tv show gotham is a solid young jim gordon
This is how DC should set up future installments, like Fox's X-Men & MCU films.
@@szaman613 I agree
"I swear to God."
"SWEAR TO ME!"
"Nice coat."
"Thanks."
All-time line and delivery. 😂
"WHERE ARE YOU!!!!"
"Here"
"AAAAA-"
My favorite line in the movie is
"I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you."
It's just delivered so beautifully.
Yeah...that was a pretty inspiring line haha😃
It’s also accurate: Batman won’t murder, but knows he and his adversaries play an inherently dangerous game. If a malevolent actor dies in the course of Batman preventing cataclysm or death of an innocent, so be it.
except for the fact the Batman will always go out of his way to save any person’s life, with the only exception being if doing so would endanger another life that he places more importance on. For example, if saving Ra's al Ghul would’ve resulted in the immediate death of some number of innocent (or at least more innocent) people, then Bruce wouldn’t save him. But if there is no reason to assume that people would die as a direct and immediate result of him being saved Bruce would save him. Batman SPECIFICALLY hates death.
but it doesnt make sense. batman goes out of his way to save people, villains included. its out of character for him to not actively try to save liam neeson and thats not good
CinimaWins: "At least we'll always have this movie".
Bruce: "You should see my other one".
I see what you did there ;)
come on man thats not even that smart..its an obvious joke..''i see what you did there'' wow you must have a low iq
Don't be a dick. It may be an obvious joke but it's easily missed since it's at the end of the video and lots of people stop listening. There's a reason he got 300+ likes and you got 1...
You should see my other one, it's called American Psycho

Batman Begins-Fear
Batman: The Dark Knight-Chaos
Batman: The Dark Knight Rises-Pain

Pain and hope both appear in the film
The Dark Knight was escalation actually.

You forgot to “win” Lucius’s mocking Bill Earle by saying “Didn’t you get the memo?”
I wouldn't win that one. I always thought Earle got kind of hosed. He never really did anything wrong, he was trying to do what was best for the company, in the absence of Bruce Wayne. Plus, I can't imagine he could just fire the CEO for no reason with no warning or anything. There would be repercussions.
@@STNeish He tried to cover up the theft of the microwave weapon by destroying all the evidence that Wayne Enterprises made it and canning Lucius for knowing too much about it. Maybe he's not a killer like most of this trilogy's villains, but he is a corporate slimeball who didn't deserve the power he'd seized from the Wayne family.
And the you've never minded your own surroundings quote 😂
Cillian Murphy was the PERFECT choice for Scarecrow
One of my favourite actors playing my favourite Batman villain win. *ding*
"Everything great about Batman: Begins"
Just watch the entire damn movie
R8-TV so true
The BEST thing about this movie is that filming began just 8 months after Bale finished "The Machinist", where his character was so underweight that he looked near death. Just 8 months to get THAT buff again.
Now this is the best Batman movie at least for me. Don't get me wrong The Dark Knight was great, but this movie set the bar for the trilogy!
W in the highest order
R8-TV preach
I want him to do Dark Knight but that video would probably end up being about 45 minutes long cause it's so damn good.
Aiden Rae 45 minutes? That's a bit short don't you think
I'm pretty sure he would just upload the entire movie with a long "yessssssss" as his comment
...and that's a bad thing? I'd be ok with it being over an hour!
Oh wait, CZcams's Copyright System is complete bullshit, guess it does make sense to be afraid of the video being too long. :/
Aiden Rae It'll be very short:
Literally everything in this film is a win. See ya guys next time
why does everyone say its so good. thought it was boring af. some good scenes tho
"I never said thank you."
"And you'll never have to."
Chills.
One of my favorite quotes
The only bad thing about this trilogy is the fact that it's just a trilogy.
You either die a masterpiece or you live long enough to become Bat Credit Card.
@@WhiteFangofWar Lol
@@Alfei22 What's wrong with RDJ's Ironman?
@@Alfei22 I couldn't disagree with you more. If what you said was true, then they would not have killed him off. Not only that, but RDJ as Iron Man is awesome in Infinity War, Endgame, and the Avengers. And Iron Man 2 is far from a masterpiece. It's easily one of the weaker MCU movies.
I find it strange that you decrying the use of Iron Man in *AVENGERS* movies... like you do realize that he belongs in those movies for purely story reasons and it has nothing to do with making money?
The *only* movie where I could see this complaint as justified is Spiderman Homecoming. Iron Man wasn't necessary... but at the same time his presence wasn't some cheap cash in. They actually used him as the character that made the most sense. But that movie came out in 2017. Iron Man 2 came out in 2010. So I really don't see what you mean.
Still the greatest Superhero origin movie.
DeadlyTwists I'd argue that Iron Man is pretty close.
Ironman is the best origin story movie
Man of Steel will always be my favourite, and for good reason.
Iron Man is my favorite origin story, but this is one is literally right next to it. It seems fitting that the iron man and the batman would be competing for the best spots
DeadlyTwists 2nd after TDK
Can we appreciate how incredible Tom Wilkinson was as Falcone? I could've used so much more of him in the movies, an awesome character.
Better than John Turturro imo
The "I'm Batman" line deserved enough praise to break the win counter.
12:56
"At least we'll always have this movie."
Bruce: "You should see my other one."
😏 Nicely done. Lol
Here's one reason why CinemaWins shouldn't do one on TDK :D
Best channel about being Positive and celebrating movies
Kyle Broflovski you should check out Wisecrack. It's another fun and positive CZcams channel.
Kyle Broflovski Check out Movies With Mikey. That guy is just as awesome and positive
Check out cinemasins, it is what created this mess.
Then I challenge him to do Everything GREAT About Cool Cat Saves the Kids :)
Cinemasins have become way too cynical. Just nitpicking on the tiniest things instead of trying to find genuine flaws, and it's become annoying to watch, whereas they were funnier early on.
Even though everyone loves the Dark Knight, this film is also just as epic in many ways. Once again the cast is phenomenal, the effects are amazing, and the themes really build into the remaining sequels. Best superhero trilogy, period.
I really love batman begins maybe more so than TDK
"Gary Oldman is always a win." Instant sub! Also, this movie is the best origin story ever. Bale does a spectacular job at playing one man who has many faces.
One of the greatest things about it is that it has real HEART....
Love the batman in depth origin story
And yes it's comic accurate, he actually spends time speaking to criminals in Arkham asylum to learn how they think and operate
This is why I love Cillian Murphy in this movie: 6:57
I love this movie. Great job with this video but you forgot one major win. When Bruce defeats Ra's in the train he reiterates his line to him. "You never learned to mind your surroundings." Yes, it was another repeat of a line from earlier in the film, but the delivery of the line in that moment was simply excellent. His voice seemed to choke up a bit, deeply saddened that his mentor and a man who had become a father figure to him earlier in the movie was going to die in seconds. The fact that the decisions Ra's had made to potentially destroy Gotham could not enable Batman to save him. Christian Bale simply does not get enough credit for playing Bruce Wayne and Batman. When Affleck shows me some actual substance, I might entertain that he is at least on par with Bale in this role.
The decision to leave Ra's to die is the single most and mostly debated and debatable point, respectively, in this film.. because it concern's the innermost core of Batman's psyce
Talha K his voice didnt crack, it was exerted because of using physical force
batman killed plenty in the beggining
I have to disagree about the repeating of the "mind your surroundings". Considering that he's about to fall to his death, having sacrificed sure footing for the killing stroke would have been the far more impactful way to break the villain's confidence.
wait, this is an actual great movie
So?
Kevin i thought these were made to find the bright side of very bad movies
Gilberto Ignacio Aguirre Vargas He said since hes done a few movies that were really hard to win, he wanted to do a few really great movies for himself
Well, the last couple of ones on this channel had....questionable quality.
TheR3aper5 i'm not sure if understand that
that "swear to me" will forever be the most badass 3-word line Im gonna ever hear
Scarecrow was excellent in this smovie
Cillian Murphy is so good in this
Cillian Murphy is one of my favorite actors, and Scarecrow is my favorite DC character.😁
Yeah he played it so f********** awesomely!!😃😃😃
5:18 THANK YOU ! This is exactly why the "shaky blurry cam" was used. It is not meant to be an epic fight scene with slow mo and stupid effects with over dramatic punches and kicks, it's meant to show how Batman uses fear, confusion, and illusion to get a great advantage fighting groups of bad guys in a realistic way. This portrays perfectly how the baddies are experiencing him, almost like a shadow coming out of nowhere with a vague dark shape. Something more than just a man. Meanwhile, crapfleck runs around in his overdimensioned bdsm ironman suit with no regard to proper physics, while the bad guys all willingly wait their turn to get hammered.. How the f can people like that batman more than the Nolan version is beyond me..
I really want a scarecrow movie because I think he's a really interesting character.
Who else here thinks this is the best of the trilogy? Don't get me wrong I love the Dark Knight and even Rises, but this one feels like the perfect Batman film.
Henrique Fernandes Don't get me wrong. but I think a bit of this movie has aged a bit.
Totally understandable. But for a movie that is more than a decade old and still give me chills, that's how you know it's great.
Exactly.
Henrique Fernandes I never said it's gotten worse. just aged a bit
agreed! I think TDK is slightly overrated.
I want a Scarecrow origin movie starring Cillian Murphy!
You missed out the biggest win of them all...
"I never said thank you"
"And you'll never have to"
That scene when he is in the cave and the bats fly by him and he finally embraces the fear, that scene was brilliant and told you so much without saying anything and it introduced the loud hanz zimmer batman theme horns at a perfect time
Yeah, unlike in films today when they want to shove everything down your throat - no room for the audience understanding by themselves....
8:50 how dare you not Win the “I do hope you’re not a member of the fire brigade”
4:37 also notice that in the entire movie, this is the first scene the score goes from a minor and dark tone into that heroic major tone which makes a lot of sense because it’s the first time he’s stepping up and facing his fear
Woww didn't notice that - I'll be looking out for that next time I watch it!!....
"I swear to god-"
"SWEAR TO ME!"
Badass as FUCK!
"I won't kill you... but I don't have to save you."

The actor for alfred in the trillogy was so good.
his name is "Michael Caine"
The way that Michael cane says “it’s of that’s left of him” gives me chills
Yeah that was a pretty cool line!!😃😃
"Swear to me" gives me chills every time
I'm so in love with this movie. There are so many mirrorings and layers to this film which become apparent after repeated viewings.
Begins' structure is a beat for beat play of The Hero's Journey as explicated by Joseph Campbell.
Bruce loses his father with the words, 'Don't be afraid'. Ra's becomes Bruce's new father figure, and passes with that same line.
The major theme of fear ties together with the character's development, where a childhood fear is harnessed and mastered by the adult. So the theme of the movie itself is the driver of the character arc as well as the premise of the plot. That's a triple win.
The transitions between past and present are written and edited so as to be perfectly seamless. I can't think of another movie where the flashback sequences are so naturally blended into the story.
I remember watching this movie and being amazed at how realistic a superhero movie could be.
I like how, to fit into the realistic tone, Ra's Al Ghul is hinted at being a name past on through the generations. That way he's still technically immortal.
@6:09 I think Gordon is being respectful of Batman's wishes to stay anonymous by looking away
9:01.. Love the SOA reference!
Ben Afflecks solo film wont live up to this Trilogy. Nolan is too talented a director and given the state of the DCEU, I don't see it going too well.
PKblaze Agreed
Wade Fucking Wilson Fatfleck killing everyone
FYI.... Christopher Nolan has still been part of the movies.
He was the Producer and Story Writer for Man of Steel, and Executive Producer (aka the man basically financing the whole production) for Batman vs Superman.
And he is also somewhat tied to Bat-Fleck and Wonder Woman.
Warner Bros Studios is not going to easily let the man go, who is almost wholly responsible for making successful Batman and Superman movies and bringing the DCEU in full swing.
Is the solo still happening? I would hope so since the solo films have all been pretty damn good.
It’s not an I’m actually a tad disappointed. I wanted to see where they would take Batfleck’s character and go into his story more
You know what’s interesting to notice? In this first version of the Bale Batman voice, he sounds like he’s trying to be more whispery and raspy, as opposed to the later versions of the Bale Batman voice which seems like an attempt to sound more gruff with extra rasp. Like there’s two different forms of intimidation that these two versions are going for, and I kinda like the first one more, it sounds more reserved, like he’s talking that way because he’s close to you, and you don’t need to know who they are, like an actual attempt at hiding their voice. Meanwhile the more that he goes on, he has to start grunt yelling like he’s trying out for a death metal band as a means to be intimidating sounding from all measures of distance
So, Bale has told a story about how uncomfortable and overheating this Batsuit was, even to the point that it gave him headaches, and he used that feeling to color this voice. The Dark Knight suit was a lot more comfortable and caused him no headaches.
@@Ironcabbit ohhh neat!

02:24 theatricality and deception...powerful agents to the uninitiated, but we are initiated aren't we, Bruce? Members of the league of shadowssss
Possibly the best part of Batman Begins was his 'wingspan' exit from the train (here at 9:58).
God, I love that. I could watch it a million times in a row.
Bat Begins deals with Bruce overcoming fear and turning that fear against his enemies.
Dark Knight finds an opponent entirely immune to his tricks and intimidation with no clear motive. Everything he learned in Begins is made irrelevant and he has to learn a new way to fight pure evil and the embodiment of chaos.
DK Rises deals with Bruce having lost all fear of death and having to find it again to climb out of a literal and figurative hole to once again do the impossible and return to defeat his strongest opponent yet, with a little help from a nice lady who doesn't share his code against using guns on an opponent.
All in all the trilogy is very well bookended.
I could go on for ten years about everything great about this film.
9:58 You could also have it connect to what Joker said in The Dark Knight about how in people's last moments, you see them for who they truly are. In this case, Ra's is a man who accepts his fate and is ready to face death like a man
One personal opinion I include as a win is that, in the "now we're two" scene with Gordon, you see that Bruce is actually threatening him with a stapler, letting him think it's a gun. Just a fun detail I always liked.
Such a great, elegant, and nostalgic movie. I used to watch this on my PS2 back in 8th and 9th grade. ❤️
Joker card in the evidence bag has the labelling, "recovered by: J Kerr" . Subtle Win. (at 10:24)
Batman Begins is my favorite Batman film.
I'd put The Batman and The Dark Knight tied for a very close 2nd, but Batman Begins means so very much to me. I already had Lenny's Fact 6 left thigh tat before this even came out so I'm a huge Nolan fan. To me, Batman Begins made me want to BECOME Batman. Thomas Wayne wasn't just some guy he was a great man.
Bruce's first outing to meet Gordon is one of my favorite scenes in any Batman film ever and he's not even fully Batman yet. "Now we're two." Bravo
The police escape is lifted directly from Year One and on a side not, the holding tank and police escape scene in the Batman is my favorite part of the film. Including the talk between Gordon and Batman (always in it together no matter what).
It was the only movie that I've been to were the audience all spontaneously got up and applauded at the end. WOW

maxmetalknight Favorite one out of all 3
Batman Begins succeeds in thematically tying Bruce Wayne/Batman, his allies, his enemies and Gotham together. No element of the movie outshines the other; it’s balanced amazingly well.
The Dark Knight, on the other hand, focuses less on Bruce Wayne/Batman and focuses more on the Joker, Harvey Dent and Gordon. It’s still a solid movie. It’s an amazing film, but an okay Batman movie.
Man, can't wait until we get to likes for the Dark Knight.
Appreciate the reupload! Please can you do an EGA Coraline. I think that film is so unique and stunning and deserves more praise! xx
A description at its best. You, sir, are amazing
I also like the matching of Ra’s telling him it’s not a dance and head butting him to when he pulls Falcone of the car and knocks him out with the same move…theatricality and deception can be powerful but brute force and seeming super human when he wasn’t also play into the fear around the bat
The "You should see the other one" at the end 👏👌

+CinemaWins When are you gonna do "Everything Great About The Island (2005)"? I love that movie so much that it's my favorite Michael Bay movie of all time (I just didn't enjoy The Rock (1996) that much). That movie is so underrated that it deserves more love than your typical Bay-hate.

+CinemaWins Even Michael Bay restrained himself from overusing explosions like he usually does and replaced them with shiny LENS FLARES. Sorry, I just love those anamorphic lens flares so much that they make the movie more visually stunning.
I haven't seen this movie all the way through in years, but i just realized this while watching the beginning on TV the other night.
In the beginning, Bruce tells Ra's that he won't become a executioner & in the climax, Batman says my favorite line in the movie to Ra's: "I'm not going to kill you, but i don't have to save you."
Out of all the casting choices in the trilogy, Michael Caine as Alfred was absolutely perfect.

I think that you should make some videos which describe the good points of a series as a whole. You could discuss things like character arcs and recurring key themes. BTW Love your videos!
It's amazing how researching this film how emotional Bruce and Gordon's first meeting made me, how in the last film, Gordon reassuring Bruce has endured until the moment they part ways and how it meant the most to him at that time.
