    Late 80's, my girlfriend asked me to take out a spin in my 1942 Matador. Turned left at end of our road...... another one coming the other way. Happy days, long gone. Girlfriend still here, 29yrs married, 2 lovely kids.

    We used one of these for heavy recovery in the early 70,s . It had a big pulley under Neath. It never failed 😎😷👍

    What I notice is how modern the engines sound on these ancient looking trucks. AEC made that loveliest and very civilised sounding low revving diesels.
