Hi Lexi, YES, I remember your precious fude brushes being delivered to the wrong home well over a year ago by DHL...no words for the lack of action on their part. What a miracle and better late than never considering you probably thought you would NEVER see them again. So happy they are now with you and also that Valde sent you all those exquisite lipsticks which look absolutely gorgeous on you! Curiosity is my fav but it's really difficult to choose thereafter lol. You really put Valde on the map just as you did DVN. You're always ahead of the curve and really set the bar high for all things luxury beauty as well as indepth, well researched unbiased reviews! 🥰❤️💯👏👏

My lipstick obsession continues obviously but I am so glad to see some of these more unique brands like Valde and DVN getting the recognition they deserve. These are truly beautiful lipsticks and have something special that many mainstream brands are lacking in the subtle yet complex tones.

I think you’ll find the Hakuhodo G5518 actually blooms into a lovely ball shape. It works fantastically as a blush brush😁. You will LOVE that brush, it’s a gem to have… along with the Kazan eye brushes from Hakuhodo as well. The Canadian slanted brush is also wonderful. Great additions!

I had CDP concealer and I don’t think I will get Tom Ford one. I am eyeing Chanel sublimage corrector. I would love to see a concealer ranking video by you 🤩😍
Thank you! That is a great idea! I was thinking of trying the Valentino concealer so maybe after I finish going through the Givenchy and the Valentino I can do that. The Chanel sublimage is a favorite of mine but I think time of year makes a difference for me.

I'm watching your Fude unboxing now, and had to stop the video because of that Kazan Hakuhodo highlighter type of brush. That one is known as "the eraser" brush, as it can blend away any mistakes made with blush/bronzer/highlighter placement. I have it, and it washes really well, fluffs out a bit, and erases any mistakes with ease. 💗

So glad you finally got your « lost » Fude order - that was indeed a valuable order! - it’s great that the person who received your package was finally compelled to bring it to you (I am curious about why she didn’t immediately advise DHL of the delivery error). Those Valde lipsticks are gorgeous and « armour » is appropriate - thank you for providing a Canadian link. I love the lip shade you’re wearing throughout most of the video. I purchased the TF concealer stick in OCO and although it’s not as great as Sisley’s, it’s weightless, easy to blend and non-drying. I look forward to seeing you use and review your « new » brushes.

Also, what a crazy story about your Fude brushes! I have a similar crazy delivery story although I didn’t wait one year to correct. UPS delivered a package which had a label from the company I purchased a Nespresso machine from however there was another very faded label in the other side to another person. Long story short, I opened the package, it was some clothing and other merchandise items from a small shop in Chicago, and UPS never found out what happened to my Nespresso package. I ended up looking up the lady’s name on the other label online, found a business phone number associated with her and called her to arrange the drop off of her package which she had given up as lost (it had been months since she had ordered it). That said, I am very happy for you that you finally received your brushes! 😊

Not just the money but looking forward to the limited editions and believing them lost forever 😢So happy you finally received them. I just ordered my first Valde lipstick. Lexi! How great everything looks. So happy your brushes showed up albeit quite a bit later. Maybe it got thrown aside and only found after a good cleaning. The concealer I hv CDP in Ivory and Beige. Use for spot concealing only. If I were to put that stiff formula under my eyes I'd look like an unwatered desert with cracks and crevices.😂 Valde was awesome to receive. So deserving you are!!! I hv Power and Subversion. I want few more now after seeing your lip swatches. Passion, Vulnerable, and Curiosity are my picks for purchasing. Great video as always!❤

Wow seeing your face on receiving your brushes was like a kid on Christmas morning 😊. I can’t believe it took a year and half for your neighbor to give it to you. I’ve had issues with DHL when they lose a package they are the worst but I guess they didn’t lose it just delivered it to the wrong address 😆. After seeing all the brushes I can see why you would be so happy receiving them year and half later. Not only because they don’t have them in stock but the cost of of them. And congrats on receiving all the refills from Valde! They look so creamy and opaque and I like many of the shades I can’t decide. Another lipstick I’ll have to try 😆. I imagine I could dig through your archives to figure this out, but how do you store all of your treasured brushes. I have most of the Sonia G sets and Wayne Goss but I haven’t ventured beyond that but I hope to start collecting more soon.
Honestly I don't have a great system right now. I have some drawers in boxes in a drawer (ones I don't use often or are very special) and the rest are in utensil holders and the rephr container system.

I missed this for some reason. Ok. So the sticker thing on TF hmmmm that’s not good. The Cle’ de Peau color looks dark. I am fair. Love a brighter under eye
Another really good option is the Saie concealer. It's one of my go-to concealers. I have to get another tube.
