      Eek!! Price increase for sure in February? I purchased brushes in 2017 from hakuhodo USA and was surprised to see the same prices currently. Guess I better buy a ton

      @@fuzzbuzzbrown987 Yesss, you‘re so right! One day, I‘d like to visit Kumano (and maybe other places) to see them in person 🤞🏼 Today, the First de Japan newsletter confirmed 1st of June for Haku price increase. While Chikuhodo stays for 1st of Feb.

    The T6 is easily one of my favorite multipurpose brushes of all time. Great workhorse. I also really like the T5, FO3, and Z1

    Great video! I think the only thing I'm missing is the GSN-9! I often wonder how soft and awesome those older brushes must be 😃, like you could tell how your newer ones aren't as soft (and sometimes they even have less hair!). My new Chikuhodo purchases seem pretty soft to me, but wow I wish I could feel the older ones to compare!

    I have two of the RR-C2 I think they are great value brushes and I really love the shape. I also love the Z-5 it works well for my eye shape and how I apply shadow (lazily, haha). Between this price increase and discontinuations, I'm definitely considering getting the T-4 or T-5

    I love all the brushes you have featured in this video and have them all. I had to get backups of a few as well (thankfully there are some kz-3's still lingering around so I picked one up). I'm considering getting another Z-1 (is this too indulgent??). The fude world is sadly changing and squirrel powder brushes I fear, are going to be harder to come by as time goes on. The quality will diminish and eventually they will probably be replaced with mixes and synthetics. I don't know, the Z-1 in shape is just so unique, I feel I should get another. Thoughts?

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  Před 2 lety +1

      @Si Kay I would say get it if you would feel bad if something were ever to happen to the one you have and if you would regret not getting it in the instance it ever gets discontinued. It is a lovely one of a kind brush. On the other hand you can always spend that money on another brush you're interested in.

    Can I use the z4 as a setting powder brush?

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  Před 2 měsíci

      @sadiyaui It's a bit small for powder but you could, it would just take longer to set your face. I would recommend the Z-8 instead if you like small to medium sized powder brushes.

    The Z-4 I bought 3 months ago shreds every time I use it. Is it normal or I got a defective batch? I noticed the hair comes out from the center and is obviously shorter than the supposed length.

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  Před 2 lety +1

      @王楠 according to some companies it's normal to shed during the first couple of uses. If it really bugs you you should bring up to the company you bought it from.

    • @user-gg9ue4cb7o
      @user-gg9ue4cb7o Před 2 lety

      @@FudeKyun You're right. I should have done that. It's just previously I already bothered Yukie from CD Japan with a defective FO-1. I don't want her to consider me as someone tending to take advantage of customer service policy. I saw a similar review recently on CD Japan. It seems these days the craftsmanship of Z-4 has some issues.

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  Před 2 lety +1

      @@user-gg9ue4cb7o I understand and some issues like shedding might not be considered severe to the companies. I've read that Beautylish considers shedding normal which is why I never brought up one of my old WG brushes that sheds every time I use it to them. Fortunately CDJapan has a brush warranty you can find on their website where they address hair loss. Check it out and if the problem still persists then maybe you should contact them. It's really up to you though. I think fude companies should be notified and aware when they have quality control issues to improve (if they can) but at the same time it depends on the fude company in how they respond. Yea, quality decline is not limited to fude but pretty much everything nowadays.. What was wrong the FO-1?

    • @user-gg9ue4cb7o
      @user-gg9ue4cb7o Před 2 lety

      @@FudeKyun Sorry to hear about your shredding WG brush. I totally agree that fude companies should be notified and the manufacturers need to improve their QC. I'll keep that one year warranty in mind. The FO-1 I received has two plastic fibres with stretchable tape texture on the front. Chikuhodo explained they used the plastic wrap to protect the hair, and then the wrap got cut & left in the hair, and their QC failed to recognize the defective brush. CD Japan offered exchange or reimbursement. Despite of that, I love the bundling of FO-1. Chikuhodo FO series seem to be more useful than their counterparts in other brands.

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  Před 2 lety +1

      @@user-gg9ue4cb7o Getting bad/defective brushes really blows so I'm sorry it happened to you too! The plastic fibers couldn't be plucked out? I'm glad CDJapan offered a solution at least. I feel like most distributor companies who sell fude and some fude companies don't have flexible return and exchange policies, nor do they have warranties. Were you able to exchange it or you kept it in the end? Glad to hear that you love the bundling on the FO-1. Not everyone is so lucky in the bundling department.
      The FO-9 also came out recently. Perhaps you'd be interested in that one since you seem to like the FO-1 so much: www.cdjapan.co.jp/aff/click.cgi/PytJTGW7Lok/6006/A233954/product%2FNEOCHD-449
