Lexi, these look great on you! I love the clear sparkle ones and the shiny ones go on so pigmented. Amazing how you apply them without lip liner and it looks perfect. I see why you picked up so many there are a lot of beautiful shades. I have some of the older ones so it was nice to see them swatched next to the new ones. I just watched your video on the Cle De Peau Liquid Lipsticks, and I have to say that I’m impressed with the ingredients they contain to nurture the lips. What caught my eye were the Sparkles, with their beautiful iridescent shimmer and sheer coverage. Unfortunately, I guess I waited too long and most of them have sold out, but I was able to pick up the deeper pink shade at Bloomingdales. I figure it’s a great way to try these, and my lips could definitely use some extra help! Lol The creams and mattes are beautiful as well. I particularly like the shade Cordyline in the matte range. When you described the mattes as moist and creamy on the lips, you definitely piqued my curiosity!

Really can’t wait to try these. I’m most tempted by the shine formula, but Cle de Peau may pull me into the matte world. I’ve avoided mattes up to now because I’ve found them drying. Thanks so much for this introduction and review.

Thanks Lexi you always do the most detailed swatch videos! The new formulas are absolutely gorgeous! I just wish they would have made a more cooler, pinky/beige nude, I find their nudes to be too orange/yellow leaning for me but they all look beautiful on you!
I completely agree with you! That is what is missing from this range. I have to say that type of shade always seems to be missing from CdP.
@@LexiJong so true! Also, the shades on the website look totally different than in person. Calanthe Orchid looks pink on the site but is quite orange-leaning in person.
Hi Lexi. These lip formulas finally launched in Canada and perfect timing with Friends and Family. I picked up quite a few products in one order. Now I have my cart ready for a second order and am finally getting some of the lipsticks from one of your videos last year where I had picked up 2/3 of them. I have come back for Erysamum, Influential etc.

Oh, I clicked on this soooo fast, lol. I already own 4 of the (older) formula, liquid shines, and those have been my HG’s of HG’s ( worth every penny). Now to watch your video, and I’m sure will be very, very tempted.

@@janicecroissiert9116 I can't really say which is better because the cle de peau are truly more pigmented and more of a lipstick whereas the jimmy choo is definitely more sheer. Texturally I love them both equally.
Watching this again - the red is a killer colour on you. It's so interesting how the finish can completely change the way a lipstick looks.

Hi Lexi - loved this video! So, my choices would be: Sparkle: 303 Medinella Magnifica - the pink hue is just stunning. Shine: 206 Calliandra and Matte: 120 Currant. I haven't even looked at the price of these gorgeous liquid lipsticks but I do have a birthday coming up at the end of March so these/one of them could make it onto my list. Fabulous swatches as always and thoroughly enjoyable escapism into beauty products which is just what's needed atm. Thank you Lexi 😊
Great choices Annie! These are $50 but once they are in department stores you could get them on sale potentially. I would definitely add a bunch to your Saks cart and see if they send you a coupon. I'm doing that right now with the Jimmy Choo glosses. Lol!

I’m drawn to the Ohia sparkle but I already have lip toppers from Sicily and Jouer. ☺️ I wonder how similar they feel. I don't have the Jouer but I have the Sisley glosses and they are a bit lighter in texture but similar enough imo. The Sisley aren't what I would call a sticky gloss at all but there is a bit more tackiness to it than these which feel more like a melted lipstick than a true gloss. Overall they are close enough that you could wait until you use up some of what you have imo.

I recall you reviewed some of their holiday collection but do you otherwise have any eyeshadow palettes from Clé de Peau? It's not easy to find English recon here... I found maybe 1 or 2 of their palettes. I really like the look of their colour stories but not sure what to expect formula wise.
Yes I am actually wearing the 306 Silver Eclipse eye palette here and I recently purchased another one. I think they are really nice but it has been harder to find certain palettes so I think they will be reformulated soon.
So for my order of the mattes, I have Chocolate Cosmos and Strawberry Rhubarb. Both Cordelyine and Currant appeal to me but I might not get both. Is there one you like more than the other? Also do they oxidize and go darker when they dry down (because they are both pretty dark already)? Lastly, are there any additional shades of lipstick in any formula currently for sale thar you would say is one of your favorites? I already have the ones you mentioned in that video with Powerhouse Pink. Plus I have the ones I wanted from the Holiday collection and Camelia, Tawny Beige, Mauve. That's all I have. Any of your recommendations, I would love to pick up. Thanks a lot.
They don't really oxidize. What you see during application is what it looks like 2 hours later on me. The two you chose are two of my favorites. I like cordyline a lot so that would be next. Calliandra in the shine formula is one I consider a must-have.

Lexi how does the CdP cushion in I10 compare to B00? Is the I range more pink and the B more neutral or ???
I haven't tried the B range but it should be more cool. The I10 is the only one in the I range I believe and it is essentially the fair neutral shade.

It really depends what you are looking for. For a light lip oil texture, I love the Hermes and Ilia glosses. For a traditional gloss, I love Sisley (these are the most well-rounded glosses imo), the most long-lasting is Jimmy Choo (these are quickly climbing to the top of my favorites), and for an actual liquid lipstick pigmentation level, these Cle de Peau are my favorites. I hope this helps!
