- It’s an evaluation day fam! The @Gucci and @YSL concealers showcase notable differences in texture and finish. The YSL leans towards a drier, smoother lay down, while Gucci delivers a wetter, more saturated appearance with a gel-like feel. To wear test these concealers throughout the day, I've applied two layers of each, and locked them in with my @Milk hydro grip set and refresh spray trick. I'll be observing factors like coverage, any settling into fine lines, and how each holds up in terms of color and texture. That YSL is lookin' seamless and like it gave you an uplifted look too. Perfect. Kinda weird how that Gucci one looks ashy and grey but this is good to know. Thanks for testing these out for us.

Would you be willing to try the Tfit concealer. My original go-to concealer, was rem beauty, but recently fell in love with Tfit. There's a lot of instagram videos, of people using it incorrectly, but is a very popular korean concealer.

I have an issue with concealer on my dry mature skin especially on one eye..help
I am not a make up artist, but I am 50 with dry skin. I hope you don't mind me jumping in with my routine. It night after my serums, night cream, night eye cream and face oil, I lock in the hydration by covering my eye area with vasaline. Essentially, I slug my eye. In the morning, I do my hydrating skin care. Before makeup, I use a hydrating facial mist. Elf sells a great under eye primer. I put on my Elf hydrating primer, excluding my under eye area, put the Elf under eye primer, let it set, put my foundation on avoiding my under eye area, then I use a thin layer of Elf hydrating concealer. I set it with a very light hand using Elf HD Setting powder. It always looks great.
@brandonborraI've never tried the Bye Bye Undereye, but have heard so many good things about it. I might pick one up during Black Friday sales. I have also heard the L'oréal "Eye Cream in a Conceler" is really good. I use a mix of drugstore and high end, but I love makeup and am always looking for new things to try.
I recommend using a hydrating eye cream with the Dieux reusable patches. I use Dior forever concealer or the IT cosmetics. When using the IT concealer, use the smallest amount needed.

I have a stupid question. When you use finishing/setting spray with concealer... you spray the brush, right? How much do you "pwish" on??😮
I personally don’t spray the brush, I just spray my face directly. But I also don’t usually put setting spray after every step (oily skin people might need to do this, my skin is dry and only putting setting spray on at the beginning and end of my makeup routine works for me)
Did you remove the YSL before applyingthe Hydro Grip?
And, does anyone know in which short she talked about using primers that suit your skin type?

I appreciate all the work you do but I noticed one thing you can't cover is the bags and darkness under your eyes.

I can’t wear concealer it just accentuates the bumps on my under eyes. I find that darker concealers help a tiny bit

What’s the verdict?
I have issues with concealer not sticking to the outer corners of my eyes. I don't know how to fix it.
Is it that it doesn’t stick or that it comes off faster in that spot? Could be your eyes watering a bit which will wipe some of it away. Are you using a setting powder directly after putting your concealer on? And then setting spray afterwards (and before) to keep it all locked in?

If I looked half this good in makeup I wouldn’t be over compensating with other things like high end handbags and heels but no instead I look like a middle aged Wallis Simpson lips Ogre.
Bold amount of product for a second layer after 25? No idea I'm almost 40 and I swear it all just looks like cake at a certain point.
