Good luck with making more competitors for us
We have to be open, honest, and not afraid of the competition. It's about making football better
Would like a degree but I'm based in Nigeria, and I know I have the talent for coaching.
So I am shelving this dream of coaching for now.
Preserve this dream within you, and it will definitely come true
thank you❤
My pleasure
Can you make a video explaining on how to become a Sporting Director
Really appreciate your interest, Michael. I will consider making such a video in the future. As a quick tip for now, you will need a Sport Management degree for this
Thank you all very much. I am looking for free courses from you
Undortunately, there are no free courses. You can, however, get one at the discount by using the following link: www.udemy.com/course/become-professional-football-coach/?couponCode=259B4867020EF37EE8D7
Is it important to study these courses in Europe . Or can we study exercise science or any other sports related degree from a university in our country. Also is it necessary for the degree to be sport related or can it be something like business or finance . Some insight would be greatly appreciated
Not necessarily in Europe. Just remember about internship and whether the university provides it. It still can be quite difficult to land a job in football after a degree, but internship may be very helpful. If it is business or finance, you can land a job in a football club, but not the one related to football performance. It can be marketing expert, operations or finance manager, etc
@@PerformanceinFootball I see so the main reason behind recommending the university route is networking I suppose? But I can still be a manager if I’ve done my coaching badges but studied finance like Sarri. Although I guess it might take longer to reach the top without the contacts
@@ahmadalibaig7881Exactly👍
@@PerformanceinFootball thank you
@@PerformanceinFootball I had one more question. Some universities like Real Madrid’s in Spain offer an MBA in sports management. Is that something that would help you in your coaching career? According to their website they also offer internships directly with the club
Which universities offer coaching degree
There are many. Just search for "BSc Football Coaching" 😉
Will taking a masters degree in sports management also help in getting a coaching job
Nd after taking d degree would I still need to go for the uefa licenses ?
It's advantageous, yes. I took this degree as well.
@@victorotti5271 Yes, you need both the degree and the licenses
Which would you advise I go for first the degree or the licenses
@@victorotti5271 It doesn't matter, really. But I personally would say that going for a degree first maybe more advantageous, since there you study some basics like sport psychology, for example, while many aspects of the UEFA License courses are based on sport psychology. So, it may be better if you understand why exactly they coach this way during the UEFA License course and not the other
