  • Which foods improve bone strength? What can I do to prevent Osteoporosis? So much advice given by doctors is based on their personal beliefs and professional ignorance, and not on research and common sense. Here is a shortlist of advice doctors give about bone density that is either just wrong or actually harmful.
Bone strength is very important as you age and you deserve the best advice possible to strengthen your bones.

Mom got her inspiration from hearing the details of my daughter's horrific car accident. My daughter broke her femur from the impact. The orthopedist (bone specialist/surgeon) said he'd never worked with a patient with stronger bones. My daughter had been active in high impact sports: dance, gymnastics, and all-star cheerleading. The doctor suspected this was the reason her bones were so strong.

I am 67 years old. I have had a DEXSCAN every two years for many years. My insurance has always covered it because it is considered to be a preventative. My last scan was in 2019 in Nebraska. I moved to Missouri later that year. It is now 2022. I asked my current primary care nurse practitioner if she could order a DEXASCAN. She said she could not order a scan unless I agreed to take a bisphosphonate. Very suspicious. AMA requirement? Or BIG PHARMA? I refused. In my opinion, they are poison. I made an appointment at an independent imaging office for this coming Thursday. Cost is $50. on the day of service. Cheap enough.

Wonderful info.!! Plz be sure to take Vitamin K2 [Menaquinone]. It is a fermented substance. Mk7 form.
May want to watch "The End of Cardiovascular Disease & Osteoporosis", by John Whitcomb MD
In a nutshell, we have 2 proteins in us, just waiting to be activated by 👉 K2.
1st Protein, OSTEOCALCIN. Directs calcium into bone matrix. Without K2 - calcium Never goes to the right place, rather circulates in blood.
2] Protein is called Matrix Gla which pushes or prevents Ca from going into soft tissue & arteries.
That's why there is the cardiology diagnostic test called: CAC Score, Coronary Artery Calcification score.
But, there's no 💊 Rx to clear out calcification other than surgery.
Crazy why measure it & not offer solution Such as Menaquinone.
In Japan, fermented soybean called Natto, has the highest amount of K2.
Its smelly stuff & must have a taste for it. Nice thing it comes in capsul form.
👉 Well, the Northern 1/2 of Japan eats Natto and has low rates of hip fractures, unlike the South part of Japan that has not acquired a taste for it. 🤷🏻🤷🏻.
Lastly, K2 is no trend or fad.
3 Major studies verification, came out it 2017 called the Rotterdam: 4,000 ppl over 10 yrs. ✅✅

The most important point that was omitted here is that people need to move. Bone growth and strength occurs when stress is applied with muscle movement. Many health problems are related, or at least compounded, by a sedentary lifestyle. Walking around the block is not enough. Full body workouts incorporating weights is best. Running and jumping stimulates bone density and strength. You have to work your upper body as well.

He was stunned and stated he didn’t know why this change has occurred. Well, I got into my car to head home and wow, it came to me. I know what changed! It was the Proper Human Diet I’ve been on since March of 2021. I am also down 34 lbs and in great shape physically at 74 years old. I supplement with eggshell calcium I make with pastured eggs that I dry and sterilize in the oven. Then crush to a powder with a little coffee grinder. Take with water up to a teaspoon a day. 1/2 tsp is 400 mg of very bioavailable calcium. Directions are on the internet. I have to say here that keto for over 5 years damaged my thyroid, weakened my bones and raised my blood pressure. IF encouraged undereating and I began to gain weight. I have stopped low carb as our bodies first must use glucose for energy. The secondary method is creating glucose from a stress pathway using stress hormones of cortisol and adrenaline. That puts stress on your body and brain and takes what it needs to make glucose by basically eating your organs and tissues-thyroid, liver, brain function, arteries, etc. it’s ok for awhile but caused damage after so many years. My functional medicine doc didn’t even know this after I spent upwards of $8,000.00.

Absolutely. For Forty years I've been telling friends of mine that they were doing their children a great disservice, if not killing them. The latter part I didn't tell them, but I wanted to. They put their very young children on a vegetarian diet. I told them that that was like giving them Cyanide in their formula. Young children, and for that matter, all children need animal protein to grow and flourish. They told me that I was out of my mind. After being treated like that, I gave up. I also had friends and family ask me what to do medically. After hearing my opinion they ended the conversation and I didn't hear from them for some years.
You try to do something good for people and they treat you like the plague. I didn't volunteer my help, they asked for it. I put them into my dead file.

You tried and that’s all you can do. And anyone who puts a child on a vegetarian diet needs a reprogramming.Unfortunately it is difficult to maintain friendships, over time . I have one lifelong friend unfortunately far away but with today’s tech easy to keep in touch, another old neighbor friend since1974. ( I am dating myself!) and another great friend a few hours away who is almost always on the same page as me! No-one has hundreds of friends, a few really good ones or one is just fine. It hurts to lose friends and family members to things that are ridiculous but maintain the high road, forgive and forget and move on. They are the ones losing out, not you.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for doing what most doctors should do but won’t. You try to get to the root of our health problems and guide us to healing ourselves. I recently started a Keto diet. It’s still a bit of a struggle but giving up is not an option. I’m a FORMER smoker, high carb eater and low physical exerciser. Because of the high level of poisons I have put in my body for 66 years, I am now fighting cancer, diabetes with neuropathy and hypothyroidism. I’m on immunotherapy for the cancer (already had chemo and radiation). Metformin for the diabetes and Levothyroxine for thyroid. The cancer will go away, of that I personally am certain. Eventually so will the diabetes and hypothyroidism. But I’m going to help my body heal by stopping the ingestion of slow poison. This is for the whole community. The only problem I have with Keto is trying to keep carbs at 20 or less per day. Any suggestions? My body tells me in no uncertain terms when I have gone over the 20 carbs which happens everyday.

Hi Donna's stitch in time. I was the worst carb addict ever. I phased out carbs in stages. Fruit was the last to go. Now I stick with a green salad (arugula and celery, sometimes onion or tomatoe) & beef, fish or eggs. After a little while the carb cravings will reduce & then disappear. I did it gradually, but one day I was having dinner with a friend who was eating bread. I had zero desire for the bread. It was shocking to me!!! You can do it too. Good luck and keep up your positive attitude. Blessings to you.🙏🌹🕊

I'm in the process of doing the last imaging tests before surgery and thank God, I did my research. My endocrinologist was giving out of date information and wanted me to take Fosamax! He was dragging out the testing and appointments. I'd still be waiting for another test if I had let him tell me how to handle this disease. We patients have to educate ourselves and I thank you so much for providing the studies that we can take with us to our doctors. I was also told not to have too much salt because I have diastolic heart failure. Thanks to you, I ignored that advice. Thanks for the information you continue to put forth. I am wondering why a higher fat ratio helps with mental/mood disorders.?

      Brain is mostly fat.
Need healthy fats to absorb fat soluble vitamins.
Sugars are inflammatory for brain; excess often can lead to dementia.

I just subscribed after watching this video. I am 90% Vegan and 10% Pescatarian. I will need to find an organic bone broth in capsules. Thank you, Dr. Berry!

I recommend watching Mr Ballerstedt’s video _When Protein Is Not Protein_ or something very close to that. Those crude protein values listed for plants are not quality, digestible protein. Nitrates in plants can masquerade as higher protein levels than the plant actually contains.
