pebble888 yeah it’s a little fiddly. I usually tighten them down and use the duffel handles over them at that point as it tucks the back straps out the way. Unfortunately the new ones lack the duffel handles 😥
edinreviews yes that was a curious decision by TNF. I wonder whether a suitcase strap could be used and wrapped round the bag to keep the backstraps tied down
@@edinreviews I have the XS new version without the duffel handles and it is small and so not a big problem. BUT I think my S old version is much better to use for travel. The duffel handles is good to use under some weight. So for new version is only the XS recommended for everyday use only.
Since 2020 I own 2 of these, one large and one medium, also bought another medium (GILMAN edition) as I need it to bring more gear on wintersport. Still looking for a Small one on sale and get a similair collection as you. Hopefully you can do another review, I enjoyed watching them!
They’re so useful- I’ve got 7 now. 2 large, 2 medium, 2 small, and 1 extra small. I’ve got two of the base camp travel canisters too. Now I need to find an excuse to get an XL and an XXL 😂👌🏻
@@edinreviews Actually got two canisters as well, one small and one large camo haha. The XS and S duffel are still on my list but they are more expensive than the M which bothers me. I'll be patient.
Update: bought a red xs duffel for €45 :) Also can tell you kinda prefer the older style bags for some reason haha, although the new style that I now have does not have that type of stitching, it's done the same as 'within' the bag, like that camo one you own.
@@BobbiPhantom I’ve gone the other way and bought an XL. RRP £135 but I got it in their outlet shop which had a sale on and an additional 20% off. Ended up being £58- I’m well pleased. May do a video lol, but won’t judge old vs new lol

pebble888 that sounds a good idea. The strap could be fed through the daisy chain loops to keep it all neat 👍🏻

Are you able to make the shoulder straps into a one strap, to carry it around like a gym bag?
You can’t join them, but I guess you could take one off and feed the other across on a diagonal 🤔
Does the black one show markings or scuffs?
Laser Sharp I’ve not really abused the black one yet, but I’d guess any scrapes would be more noticeable on the black one
