Forgot to mention I raised a son who in his day was ADD, he was tired of getting of being bullied in school and dropped out at 16, he’s now 43. I’ve been helping my daughter raise my grandson who’s now 21, he has ADHD, is at the bottom of the autism spectrum and suffered a brain injury in a rollover accident at 4 years old. So I totally get Little Man! He’s really grown since I e been watching you.
I'm glad you enjoyed the beauty of my state. Alabama is so much more diverse than many realize. 🙂

I would not have taken 8 row out either, especially when really does look like a design element lol Make my heart full with joy to see that both of you are getting out and having a peaceful time as well as fun. Good morning from North Alabama. Hope you tried some delicious food while in Huntsville. Such as barbecue . I love Big Bob Gibsons. Especially the brisket and the smoked turkey. Champys catfish. Yeah girl we are big on southern hospitality until...You'll know it when see it.
Bibles are usually free at thrift stores here. We believe everyone should have them. I've got 3. So maybe that's the reason we're so polite. Not FYI about the " bless your heart ". I truly mean it. Some people say it and mean something else. Hope you come back for a visit real soon.

Being a mom of a 31 and 29 year old, I totally agree, dont blink. Had the time of my life with my kids. Still love my time with them, although not as much time now.

I went back to memories of no sleep when you were talking about it. My son was the exact same. He did not sleep and therefore I didn't sleep and this lasted 5 years for me as well. I worked a full time job as a nurse. When I think back it takes my breath away and I really don't know how I did it. If it wasn't for my family and mostly my 10 year old daughter, I don't think I could have made it. It really did take a village.
I would have loved to be at that waterway . So beautiful and clean.

My son used to be one of those Marines stationed at Quantico for a little over a year. He’s an air traffic controller so hopefully he was on the friendlier side! 😆 He’s stationed overseas now.

I have two kids, a daughter(20) and a son(18). He just graduated from HS and I'm having a lot of those moments. Where did the time go? We agreed before kids that I would be a stay at home Mama, so I don't regret that at all! I have moments where I wish I homeschooled because I miss those 'kids!' BUT, I do love what funny, kind, considerate adults they have grown up to be. I'm proud that all my hard work payed off but I sure do miss those little snuggly babies! 🥹

Love your design elements on the sweater! Thanks for sharing. It makes me feel okay about the design element I made on your Country Rd Poncho top. It was the first top style I’ve ever done & I must have been interrupted by husband or missed something important. I never stopped going all the way around until it was the length I wanted. Rewatched the tutorial & nope not frogging all of that! Especially with Caron Cloud Cake! So I seamed it up both sides & enjoy wearing it!
Of course then I had to do one correctly with some Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton - it turned out great too!

I appreciate all the hours you put into these videos and sharing all your projects. Have fun on your trip. The fish pond is so cool, that’s a lot of fish the fish and ducks together that’s funny I wonder if the ducks try to eat the fish a little big I guess. We have a lake where there are so many ducks and geese, the walk way is full of poop. I came home from a walk and my runners had so much poop on the soles ugh it was gross. And love your sweater even with the boo-boo would never know it was a mistake. Wow the rockets are huge. Thanks for showing us the pictures.
Oh wow Huntsville is Beautiful, my daughter lives some where in the panhandle of Alabama and my sister and nieces live in rainbow city alabama and then I have lots of different family members all over alabama
Alabama is such a beautiful state. We drove through last Fall on our way to TN and only had time to stop in Leeds at a Bucee's. Huntsville is on my list of places to see eventually with my grandson. Little Man will have so many memories and experiences that don't translate by reading about them. We traveled, camping, a lot when my kids were growing up. My middle son learned the names of the presidents on Mount Rushmore when he was 4. The impact of those things is a catalyst to wanting to learn more. Good job 👏 Mom!

We lived in Huntsville for almost 7 yrs.At that time, I belonged to the Kiamichi Quilt Guild. I really liked it there.
Oh and I'm making note for the shorts I have seen. The celebrating of JuJu's birthday and the fish wondering where Cinnamon was. Funny!!!😊

I did a crochet hook case with pockets...can carry hooks, pill bottle of stitch markers, scissors in a case,...folds over and ties up
Very cool. My uncle used to work there, and we visited in the summer. I remember thinking how huge the rockets were and was terrified looking in to the training tanks.
Good Morning Jen and Lucas! That park was so pretty, I could sit and feet the fish and ducks for hours!! lol I am such an animal nerd! I could probably sit, swing and knit or crochet and listen to the fountain for hours too, depending on the weather. Looks like a Very interesting place to visit. I've seen that rocket or one like it from the interstate traveling through, my first husband was a truck driver and I did a lot of traveling, but only got to see things that could be seen from the interstate. Thanks for sharing your adventures!!

Used to live in Huntsville
I was thinking Alabama...lol...Id have guessed right but not the city! Im enjoying your travel videos! Im glad you all are enjoying your trip too! In 1970, our family vacation included a trip to Cape Kenedy. The Apollo program was still in operation at the time. We saw a rocket that was being moved, and got to see the moon rocks!! The rocks were fairly new to view., too! To us kids, they looked like the limestone gravel our city put down in our alley!!!...lol. it was still cool to have gotten to cee them! The rocket movers moved the rockets standing straight up!! And the did NOT move very fast at all!!! A turtle and a snail could outrun them! If im recalling right, i believe they traveled a whole distance of about 2 feet per day??? (Not sure of the distance per ratio. Maybe Lucas could fill me in on it!? ) i wish i could remember but i was only 12 and it was long ago! Fun to be there because i had been facinated with the space program since i was around 5, during the Gemini space travels.
