When I follow your example and select all photos form my ALBUM .. then when I cresate SLIDESHOW they come in a random order ... yours seems to keep an order set in your album ... WHAT CAN BE A PROBLEM???? .... Older IMAC 27" .. OS 10.13

So you need to re arrange them. I tried it again and didn’t see that issue

I had the same thing happen. It would not stay in the order that I had it in. So frustrating...
Here's what worked for me: Go into "My Albums" and highlight the album thumbnail that you want to make into a slideshow. Make sure your photos are in the order that you want them to be in your slideshow. Then go to File, Create, Slideshow. It will ask you if you want to add these photos to your slideshow. Give it a name and click "OK." I did several slideshows that way and they all worked. I was also able to go back into the albums and edit the photos without disrupting the slideshows. I hope this helps!

Well I agree they need to add more templates, but I always use the same one.
