#FCPX #FinalCutPro #LPTGuy - Jak na to + styl
This is the first tutorial over all youtube that I have to watch in 0.75 speed, well done!
Serge, your patience, style and technique make you the best instructor of non-linear editing. You're Simply The Best!
As I had to pause to make this comment, I only watched .57 seconds and learned so much already. Those shortcuts are going to save me so much time. Salute to those who actually read manuals unlike lol
This is facts. I’ve been editing in fcpx for years and learned several new tricks that I will be using from now on
Once again Serge, great concise tutorial. What I love most is no plugins required. I have struggled for months trying to create my own slideshow. Your tips take my skills to a new level. Thanks
Wow Serge! There’s just no stopping you! Thanks!
Exactly what I was looking for!! So helpful and concise as usual!
Super easy to follow. We appreciate that Serge. Thanks!
This is just brilliant, thank you so much!
Serge, Thank you so much for all your videos, you are really the best
The way you explained this was so pleasant to listen to
Wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you for creating this very informative and easy to understand tutorial. I just used it in this video I am working on. I appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this masterpiece. Wishing you success and growth in your future endeavors. Stay safe and keep on doing what you're doing cause clearly you're doing it very well.
Thank you soooo much for this!
Another genius and elegant solution. Well done.
You’re the best. Thank you for all your help
Truly well done Serge!
Fantastic, just the tutorial I needed, thank you!
Thank you for sharing this! I made a beautiful slideshow for a friend with this lesson. I appreciate that you didn't use any plugins or additional apps and this lays a great foundation for building upon. My slideshow was about 80 images and I learned laying that high is not favored by Final Cut Pro so I did four groups of 20 stacked photos and it worked out great. I also added moments of video and an intro and exit. Thank you again!
That was super duper awesome! Thank You
Super cool technique, Serge. Thank you!
Bravo, j'ai vraiment aimé la video. je te suit depuis la cote d'ivoire
I really enjoyed this one!
Great tip and perfect timing for me! I have a photo slideshow to make for my job!
Hi Serge… this is awesome.. thanks a lot 🙏
very helpful - I will try this. Thanks!
Thanks Serge! I’m going to try this out for sure :D

Awesome 👏 bro
Thank you so much
Good!
Thanks Serge
awesome :)
awesome bro was looking for the same
Super easy thanks
another great tutorial, thanks Serge!
i think this could also be improved by adding some motion blur to the movement
This is the way a tutorial should be step by step with onscreen pop ups or buttons or commands use
This man is a god and we are mere mortals living in his presence and in awe of him
Thank you !
Very nice 👍🙂❤️
very nice
love this video Serge, as always. What's crazy is even though this is VERY efficient, it still takes a ton of time. Are there any plug-ins you recommend using for this kind of effect? I'm looking to edit pics with need animations similar to this and am looking for something quick. Any recommendations?
This is brilliant! 👌🏼I just made one following your fabulous instructions 🎉but I can’t workout how you moved your drop shadow around, with just your mouse and I’d love to know 🙏🏼
Love your videos Serge! Im kinda new to FCP. Wondering how to use an SDR video in an HDR project? May God bless you Serge and thank you for your videos!
Thank you
Serge, can you kindly make your project available as template download please? Perhaps each picture can just be a blank coloured image, then its easy to know where to drop each image into it, and then we can all customise it to suit ourselves?
Many thanks for everything btw, I love your channel and egoless delivery ;-)
Thank !
Thanks for the tutorial. Is there any way to randomize pictures on a Final Cut Pro timeline (for a project with hundreds of pictures) or to randomize them in a folder before putting them into a Final Cut Pro timeline?
I can’t find a solution to this anywhere when making slideshows with pictures on Final Cut Pro. Thanks!
i like how you use no external plugins snd you show everything within the FCP 💯👍
Nice ! note: I always work over the magnetic timeline ;)
Thanks for the video ! But aren't there already built-in animation templates for image input and output like in Capcut ?
Hello!
First, thanks for this. It`s great.
Second, when adding background music, the exported file only has the FX but no music.
Do you have any idea why I'm doing to cause this?
I could hear the music on FCPx. I try by deleting m,y preferences but after that, I couldn't hear my music.
Thanks!
how would you do if you have a combination of vertical and horizontal images?
Hi Serge, thanks for the video. I did this with my MacBook Pro M1 32g and I had problems. The FCPX it was locking . Is there something to do ?
I lost you in 15 second 😂
Thanks you! I however was wondering, after all those steps, can you make an action ? Hopefully 🤞
Hi Serge, is there any option to sort images/pictures in chronological order ?
I need help. Using FXP 10.7. At 2:30, the ripple edit that creates new tracks. Mine is't working that way but pushing the current track out. I can't figure out what created the new track about with remaining pictures. Any help? Fantastic video though!
Nice video. I thought it would be great to make it a Motion Template, but it is turning out harder than I thought
What I want to know is why the blank addition is so bad? I use it a lot when I’m trying to create a storyline for a shorts. Usually I’ll ctrl + option + down arrow at the end.
Hey Serge, why my videos on my iPhone look desaturated and washed out after export, I filmed it in SLOG 3 PP. FCP is my editor program and they look good on the computer, once I airdrop them, look flat.
sorry how do you ripple trim?
Hi Serge. I was able to test it with FCP 10.7, it worked perfectly. But when trying it with FCP 1.8 it crashes at several times.
Thanks for the idea. In my project, I had see a 50 pictures and that killed my final cut. I couldn’t finish my project when I use all transitions and effects you used. From my observations all of this overloaded the final cut.
Were you working in optimized mode? Lots of effects can bog you down if so, you gotta switch out
Thank you so much. I saved $14. I almost bought a slideshow plugin. lol.
hey you guys, I try to make this slideshow bud Final Cut Pro always get stuck when I m almost finished?? do y'all have the same problem ?
Thank you for this great tutorial! I was able to replicate 👍. Is there a way to make this in Apple Motion and have drop zones so the photos can be changed easily? I really love your channel, I've learned a lot from you👏👏👏. Thank you, Karen
🙏🙏🙏
I have followed your instruction carefully. However, I failed the last part, aligning it !!!! Do you have any other video on the same subject? Thanks in Advance !
Where did you get the camera shutter effect from?
Click the camera/music icon on upper left fcpx. Select 'Sound effects' and search for 'camera'. He's using 'Camera 2'
Question: at @0:32 - when you type in 10 frames, it automatically changes to 05. Why is that ? Puzzled :)
it was reading the position of the playhead: 05. when he hits control-D to set the clip duration the 40.05 shows where it is set now. He then changes the duration to 10 and when he presses enter the readout goes back to playhead position, 05.
how to easy multy cam editing.plz
Is there a plug-in that can do all of this ?
Hi, I am a fan of your followers. Can you explain to me how to set the time? 5. Video time
Now that’s an invite to Subscribe
Серёга привет! Not sure if you're reading a lot of these comments or not, but I have a pretty good video idea for you, was going to do a video on it myself (it has to do with the speeding up of the FCPX editing workflow by adding a sub $10 device to the computer) but my channel has nothing to do with video editing, so just wanted to see if you'd be interested? Let me know if you are so I can write it out for you...
Hilarious.
You can't please everyone. O'Brien is just gonna have to be PISSED.
For $USD50 I can get plugins that do all this in a tenth the time, but thanks for the video.
Pls share the name.
Is this guy real? Looks like an AI generated face. Great tutorial however !
nice effect to long
This was wonderful! Thank you so much.
This is brilliant! 👌🏼I just made one following your fabulous instructions 🎉but I can’t workout how you moved your drop shadow around, with just your mouse and I’d love to know 🙏🏼
