One detail I liked about Cammy's classic outfit is that they brought back the green camouflages on her legs, and the delta red badge on her chest, as she had lost that on her default SFV outfit.
Still a coomer design. Her re-design is way better and more decent looking.

@@damsen978 As in the commenter was talking about how he liked how the green camo on her legs and the delta red symbol is back and then you come in, saying that the outfit is a coomer design and the newer one is better, when nobody was talking about (or cares, really) about the deceny of the og design or which one they like better.
some new outfits are good, but most of them, because they use this street aesthetics, street graffiti, are homogenizing, practically nullify the personality of the characters - like Cammy's case. In general I didn't like it
The classic costumes translate so well into the more photo realistic look of SF6. Ken, Chun Li, and Cammy are my favorite ones
Right! Every time I see a screen of classic characters on classic stage for a minute I think it looks like SF2 come to life!
something about the art style this time vs SFV manages to look exactly like SF2.
The same can be said about MK1. It looks so much like MK3 , especially since the characters now look like real digitized humans again, instead of exaggerated action figures.

The attention to detail is immaculate. Not only are the facial shapes for the og characters slightly different via age, even chun li''s thighs are slightly larger in her original costume
I think that’s more to do with the fact that they perfectly simulated that their default outfits are them aged up.
Been a year since this game came out and I never noticed that their faces are actually modeled to be younger. WOW that is incredible attention to detail!
This is my favorite sf models ever, it took me a whike to like sf4's cartoony models, sf5 models were fine aside from the annoying clipping. But this is very close to recreating SF2 style 30 years later and i love it. They struck gold with this engine.

@@valentincelestite9861 lot of the old charas new designs are evolutions of their old designs, and both are in the game. So I don’t think it’s going to stop them from adding Juri’s sf4 costume
If Sf4 and 5 are any indication they will cater to nostalgia with older costumes. Hopefully they also have it for a avatars too.

So many nice details in the classic designs here. Ryu's got his "puffy hair" that he used to have in the front part, and Ken's gi isn't torn like Ryu's to differentiate them even more.
Man the devs who do the animations and voicelines for Juri knew.....*exactly* what they were doing with her if y'all catch my drift.......

It’s crazy how much different Gief looks with more body fat.

I love the added details to Cammy. And they brought back the leg paint! For some reason I always preferred that to the SFV style.
The new outfits for all the returning characters are SO good. I never took the time to appreciate the alternates.

I don't think the body/face 3d model change between the different skins so this is probably the hairs

It's really appreciable that they also tweaked the face and hair. It's fixing the major problem i had with Chun Li and Ken.

I don’t know if anyone else has pointed it out but if you look closely at the bodies, you can tell that they aged them up for their default outfits. Just look at Deejay’s outfit, and noticed the definition with his abs(pause).
I like how the old one will occasionally make the character younger looking too

They really went out of their way to make sure the classic looks even resemble their old SF2 portraits, look at the subtle differences in the hairstyles of Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li

SF6 Juri has a lot of design similarities to her SF4 design, so they probably did the SF5 design for more variety

As much as I really don't like Luke's design in SFV, as a returning character, I do sort of understand the comments saying that he should have gotten his SFV look as a classic costume. I still prefer how he looks in SF6 tho.
