Man every games artstyle is cool. I remember seeing a vid explaining this too but really sf6 is equally as stylized as 4 and 5 its just the rendering thats realistic, other than that the actual character proportions, facial features, ect. are still just as cartoony/anime as ever. If anything the mix of the two creates a really appealing artstyle that still blends in really well.

I think there’s a lot of great stuff across the board here! SF4 is a classic now, and obviously there’s a ton of nostalgia for it. Many of the SF4 Supers/Ultras have obviously aged poorly a bit, with so many of them becoming Level 1 Super’s in SF6 (Ryu and Chun) or even just becoming normal specials (Ken and Deejay). But a lot of them were classic at the time and the new games have clearly taken inspiration in some way!
SF5 tried a lot of new things with the characters, and the V-Triggers were divisive of course, but there’s a lot of cool stuff here too, like I can’t imagine Guile without his Sonic Blades now. And while Juri’s Critical Art here is kinda lame, it inspired her SF6 level 1, so I think they made something good out of it.
SF6 is my overall favourite for sure though. You can just tell there’s so much love put into every single character, both old and new, to make them the coolest version of them they can be. Ryu, Zangief, Ken, Deejay, all of them look incredible. Glad the series has made such a triumphant return.
You can tell Ryu in SF6 has refined his technique by tensing up his muscles and putting all his strength into it. The build up to Shin Shoryuken is also nice as well

Maybe you didn't like them personally but you can't just deny the effort that was put into each of these games and call it trash (including SF5). Imagine being the animation or mocap director for these moves and seeing your work being hated on just because people in a completely different area of the game developement team made some questionable decisions. Calm down yall

Can you do a comparison of all supers within the games? There are a lot that were brought back in sf6 (like Luke's SA2 being his CA in SFV or his SA1 being a take on his V-Trigger 1 EX) that would be interesting to see the evolution of

Good, it had no art direction, they were just cartoon renders that kinda looked like toys for some reason. Sometimes it looked like improved SFIV and sometimes it just looked clueless about it's own identity.
@@unkirbyjosuke1904 honestly though.... The animation looks excellent! Especially Ryus super! Also Juri looks wayyyy better in SFV than SFIV.... People are acting like every single character model in SFIV is perfect, they REALLY did Dee Jay dirty tho.... ( in SFIV )

USFIV - epic, SF6 - very nice, SFV - trash.
Yes in most cases. But not across the board.
SF6 Cammy, Guile, and Sim's lv3 > Any ultras they had in SF4.
I would also take Ken' Jinrai lv2 over his U2 just for the Third Strike reference, but I can see why people would prefer the latter.
And I honestly cannot decide between Final Atomic Buster and Gief's CA in 6.
FAB is a classic, and it has more impact, but I feel Bolshoi Storm Buster captures his wrestler persona more faithfully than any other super he's had does.

In my personal opinion, when it comes to Guile, Cammy and Dhalsim. Guile's 1st ultra and level 3 are about the same, Cammy's 2nd ultra is way better than her level 3 (though her level 3 is still amazing) and with Dhalsim, yeah he definitely got better supers.
