The demons in 2016 in my opinion are a lot scarier because they look more organic and fleshy meanwhile the demons in eternal have a more comic book like appearance to them. Not to mention that despite the hordes in 2016 being smaller, the demons took a lot of hits to kill

I have noticed that allot of the characters have more anatomically correct designs, like the men are less bulky and more realistic in terms of their propotions. And i understand people can get the really big muscles, but i like how their more average now.l, while a few of them keep the big muscles like shao. I also like how rain is not another ninja now, and has become his own type of character. I also will say u prefer the banshee of sindels scream in mk11 but i understand them redeeming thenselves and keeping sindel a good person in mk1. I hated them retconning her actually being a good person in mk11

I like arcadey Doom but Doom 2016 is one of the few instances where the contemporary styling was just vastly superior, it felt like a real step down in Eternal. I still love Eternal, but I wish they’d just carried on the excellent strides they made. Mainly I just wish there was justice for that insane 2016 Mancubus design.
