    Hello! So I made this and the flavor was fantastic! Everyone loved it so thank you! But when I fried it, the outside got really really crispy and hard and sometimes it wpuldnt stay together good. I was thinking it had to do with the oil temperature?

      Yes if the temperature of oil is to high it will crisp the out side..as far as it coming apart, using the back of your spoon press them together then give them your desired shape. I am glad you liked the flavor.

    I have a question about the scotch bonnet hot sauce. I know it keeps for a very long time. After the hot sauce has been used, can you keep the same peppers and just add more liquid to it? Won’t it be nasty if you do that?

      Nicole Nunya ...yes you can add more liquid but of course after a period of time you would have to make a new batch. I do have to say the longer it sits around the better it taste. I made one six months ago and it's still wondeful.

    I always add 1 egg on mine ,give it an extra taste ,and better consistency !!! I just want to learn how to make pikliz mine it's very sour,i hate it, how can i balance the acidity flavor on it?please ?

    I saw a video where a food processor was used to cut up the malanga. Is there a difference in the consistency of the malanga if you use the food processor instead of grating?

      Nancy Sheekoh ... Some Haitian people call malanga taro, same thing . If you talking about Taro the tropical Asian plant from the arum family, I am not sure.
