Thanks for the video! I had checked all of my fuses before I saw your video and was really scratching my head. I watched your video and was about to try swapping the relays when you mentioned about tapping the motor. I tapped it once about the lightest I've ever tapped anything and it started right up! Thanks again.

Quick rundown… The AC in my 2007 F150 still blows very cold but sometimes the blower will just quit working all of a sudden. Usually after turning the truck off, then turning it back on the AC blower won’t come back on. You can still feel cold air kinda leaking out of the vents but the fan wouldn’t come on. I started off with the blower motor resistor, I replaced that but it still didn’t work. Then I watch your video about checking the fuses and all of them were in good working order. Then you got to the part of your video where are you hit on the blower motor itself and when I replicated that, the air came right on. So I would like to thank you for putting this video out because my next step was going to be bringing it to a shop and I know they would have charged me an arm and a leg just to look at it.Anyway thank you so much my friend. 🙏🙏🙏

@@LehewTech I celebrated too soon. My truck is blasting hot air only again when I put it to A/C. I took my entire dash apart yesterday and changed out the actuator motor in hopes that would be the issue, but it wasn't.
I also did remove some loose foam pieces in the tubing, but again didn't solve the issue. I tried swapping some fuses like you mentioned and yesterday it kicked back on, but today it back to do doing the same stupidity.
I'm able to remove the actuator motor and turn the door by hand, but as soon as I let go it swaps back to heat only. The compressor is spinning and the line seems cool to me, but I'm not sure what the hell to do.
A local mechanic told me it'll be an 8+ hour job to potentially find out the issue.
Any help you could possibly offer?

@@LehewTech I'm not too sure I'll need to take a look at it today. The white bit that came with the new motor and the original both fit in smoothly and I can turn it manually to redirect the door, but as soon as I let go when the air is blowing it swaps to hot air. Also the same with the motor I can manually direct it and leave the motor on unplugged and it will stay, but as soon as I plug it in it swaps. I'm totally stumped on what to do

01 f150 Supercrew. Mine kept blowing the big 30A fuse in the under hood power hub. I disconnected the motor, swapped Relay #5 (they are all the same part #. I got power to the motor connection plug. So my fix was a failed relay..

What if no ground? I have 2010 F150 with dual zone, and replaced the "resistor" speed control and harness before watching this video, but fan does not work. Test light reveals power to one of the two wires that connects to fan, but there is no ground on the other side.

The HVAC control panel provides a signal to the "resistor" speed control.. it could be that the panel is bad

The relay is brand new from ford. The resistor is brand new from the autozone. And the switches themselves in the dash all have power and check out. I can't figure out wtf is wrong please help.
