one thing is clear if ozil would have got conditions as other players throughout his career then there would have not been any debate over goat midfielders of all time. Ozil what a graceful player in his prime i remember his performances for Schalke and Werder Bremen. He was great in 2010 World Cup went to Real Madrid and was brilliant as chief creator. When to Arsenal was inconsistent at first then blow up in 15-16 as he had 20 assists in the league alone had good season after scoring 16 and assisting 18 in all competitions but form has dropped off and is now not getting on the pitch.
Also won World Cup in 2014 and played solid tournament for them
Um saddened by the demise of such a majestic player

But now he is recovering his form since Mikel Arteta has arrived

If Arteta joined the club way back, instead of Emery, then Ozil would surely have been in a better position today. Ozil may lose his form but his talent will always be there. You are right. Ozil was never the same again after joining Arsenal where he played in a mediocre side. Then along came a mediocre coach Unai Emery and that was it.
