- 600+hp 1996 Audi A4 B5 Avant 1.8T 20v ADR Quattro (Big Turbo) measuring 1/4 mile acceleration with dragy POV (boost leak, granny shifting & much wheelspin)
2,7-bar boost, 8300rpm rev limit, 22deg spark angle, 1,2-bar launch control, ethanol fuel, full interior. Mapped by me.

Needs more grip. Get some light 18 inch wheels with 245/35/18 decent tyres. I run Michelin Pilot sports and find they work really well.

How the hell does it handle this? Are you on factory suspension with coilovers and factory drivetrain aside from the 01E?
No coilovers. Only Sachs Touring shock absorbers and front lowered springs. Rear springs are factory.
From drivetrain side, factory is only driveshafts. With better launch they will go.
@@A4B5Turbo it's still impressive that it holds up lol. I wish there was a company that made a slipper clutch for these euro cars, because that clutch dump is violent as hell.
I launched my B5 once and my rear diff bearings are smoked, and bent the cardan shaft center support lmfao

Nope. Gears are in reverse, because of S4 C4 linkage. B5 S4 or B5 2.5tdi linkage will fix this.

Thats awesome man. Are you on stock me5 ecu? Wish I could get mine to launch this good. My tuner can't get the limiter to raise higher than 4.5k and it's set at 6k. I'm on me7.5 though. My turbo doesn't spool up enough at 4.5k I'm 600+ in my b5 1.8t but can't get a good launch. I'm running a .82 ar on a 5858 and I think I need a .63 housing to build more boost at 4.5k
No, I'm on standalone VEMS ECU. With standalone ECU you have much more options.
Seems like we both have same issue although I am way lower hp. I don't have enough boost on second gear. When I am full boost on second I run out of rpm. As I listen to your car looks like it's the same you are out of boost when you shift to second. By the way for a better start maybe you can try not releasing the clutch fully but hold it half way for milliseconds then release
I had shitty tires. Because of wheelspin, there was not enough boost at first gear to flat shift to 2nd. Drag slicks will fix that.
@@A4B5Turbo my 100-200 is 9.8 secs but 0-100 5-6 seconds. Second gear ruins it all. Until I reach full boost i run out of rpm. I barely get 13.4 402m when it can do low 12s easily. It's just that second gear 😐
What is your setup like engine cod, internals, turbo etc. pls!

Did you run the ADR cast 058 crankshaft or the forged 06a crankshaft ?
Cast crankshaft. 06a crankshaft doesn't fit to 058 block.
