Haha, I know what the problem is. I went through this entire issue myself. Got and x350d myself! It’s the rear cabin window. It might look closed but it’s not. The techs wire it’s sensor to one of the doors so you know. Took me weeks😂

Nissan Navara, but with the MB V6 Diesel….. Good car, but does have a shed load of niggling issues. I keep getting recall notices too, which is surprising. It’s pretty quick for a UK pickup, but yes, the American trucks are bigger, but they have cheap petrol. Drives like a car, but can go anywhere. Love mine.
Auto express are surely just talking about the UK market.

Your canopy’s wiring is connected to the vehicles wiring. The canopy door is open ! Their is no available light for the canopy so they connect it to a door

The door open might be the load cover. The wee side door could be open, but there is a recall for the rubbers on the rear upper opening on the load bay cover…… That could have been the issue.
Yes your right! I had one of these and it kept saying the passenger door was open. Turns out the canopy tailgate wasn’t aligned/ shut properly and it turned off then!
I agree. I have the same issue. Mine even pops open on its own. Apart from that. I’m at 90k from new and it been great 👍

that is a seat belt sound. you probably put some stuff on the passenger seat which triggered the seat belt sound.

Random calv but you never thought about some sort of water / spray suppression for the dust? Like a lot of builders yards use but you get the idea. Cheaper than moving yards or resurfacing the place.

Definitely most powerful in the UK and/or Europe. US Pick-ups had circa 200bhp ontop of that. Still awesome though! :D

It's not twin turbo... its a merc OM642 engine which has been around since 2005 and it's single turbo.
Literally a nissan nivara lol Mercedes stick their part numbers over Nissans part numbers on bodyparts...i.e bonnet 🤣

Why would anybody buy these above a Hilux, Ranger or even Amarok is beyond me. Mercedes hasn't build quality, durable vehicles in decades. Even the G-class is known for being very expensive to maintain.

It’s funny when someone in there 1.5dci a class doesn’t realise it’s essentially a Nissan / Renault engine. That truck is a absolute waste of metal 😂
I own this car amongst a few other vehicles. if you have the money, why not. I couldn't think of a ute/truck (I'm in australia) that was better looking especially all black and blacked out. I was tossing between this, the amarok and the ranger raptor in conquer grey. the amarok has the best power but it's ugly AF. And although the raptor looked great, it was very underpowered. the 3.5 v6 turbo diesel from mercedes is a great proven engine. and doesn't the 350d have mercedes suspension unlike the 250/220d models?
having said that, I'm waiting for the electric trucks to come down here sometime soon...
