Much Love & Respect to you from a Ukranian living in Ireland💛💙
P.S-Question:Do you plan to create/add Irish/Gaelic section to your platform in future?
Gratitude for Everything Steve!💛💙
We need a minimum of content, mini-stories etc. I believe we have some volunteers working on Irish Gaelic content. I will find out and get back to you.
Wow, what a great idea I never thought of getting a tutor to take me round and speak with them. As soon as the war is over I will definitely do that, thanks great advice!
Hello! I just downloaded your App to learn Czech. You saying that Ukrainians can learn free. How can I activate that?
I just saw this. Any Ukrainian can simply email support@lingq and he or she will be given free access.

I am a Ukrainian from Sevastopol, Crimea. Much respect to you Steve for supporting Ukraine in so many ways. And for learning Ukrainian language and history too!
Are you still there or In contact with people who are living in Ukraine still? I want to go train as a medic or if not that then explosive ordnance disposal and help the Ukrainian civilians who are suffering the most from this craziness but I don’t know exactly where to contact to get myself over there lol… I’ve tried the Ukrainian embassy in Canada and a bunch of other organizations but never even got a message or a call back even one time and I’m almost ready to just book my own flight and figure it out on the ground ffs

In a conversation with a friend, when I told him I was learning Ukrainian, he said "Learning Ukrainian may be the best way to fight fascism". C
Well basically the best way to fight fachism is to understand that any person can become a one and make everyone aware of that the TV over time might persuade mass of people that they are glorious and fight for good and the others guys are bad because they've just got different habits and directions.
Though there's something in common that Russia and Ukraine have, those who are more critical types always think of their politicians as greedy bastards who only care about getting richer while serving on the post not caring about improving anything in the meantime, this is why both countries degrade over time.
@@v.nd.tt.s8943 golden words
@@v.nd.tt.s8943 Ukraine is rapidly changing political figures that the people do not like. We are not very patient in this matter
@@v.nd.tt.s8943 the other guys are bad because they called "good guy's" directions wrong, came to "good guy's" homes, took their homes, shaked with nuclear baton and called it "liberation".
There is nothing ambiguous here. They can f*ck off and we will continue deal with our politicians as we want. And we can deal with our politicians. We have nothing common in here with russians. Do I need to remind you about Maidan?
We fight not because Zelenskiy said that. We fight for our lives and homes. Every ukrainian donate now. If they can't, they knit socks for our army. If they can't, they knit camouflage nets. Or do something else. Because russia is not "other guys". They are occupiers.
Awesome. I wish more people would stop wasting their time on establishing democratic institutions, developing critical thinking skills, building international pressure, learning from history and all that useless stuff.
We should just all learn украïнську and the fascists will go away, wasn't it obvious from the beginning?

Lviv looks absolutely gorgeous. I have started tentatively learning Ukrainian as a direct result of the mounting horror of this war, and the wish to understand Ukrainian people better. While I have learned/begun learning other languages in the past, I haven’t felt such a drive to learn a language. I’ve never admired a people as much as I do the Ukrainians for their drive and courage. Hope to visit Ukraine in this lifetime.
LingQ and Duolingo are doing the right thing by demonetising Ukrainian resources. It’s a very compassionate gesture which will hopefully help others to welcome Ukrainians to their homelands. And hopefully, we’ll be able to visit Ukraine in future and help revive tourism for the country while using our new skills.
Thanks for this.

I'm learning Ukrainian myself (Brazilian here). My wife has Ukrainian roots (by her deceased father, son of migrants), but ZERO contact with culture or anything other than the Nesteruk last name. I started to be curious about UA before 2014's events, but now in 2022 it really hooked me due to the insane war. Really different from my Portuguese or other Latin languages I slightly know... but it's lovely to feel my knowledge growing. Long road to go through... but I'm enjoying the travel.

My respect to you, guy! My grandmother's brother had migrated to Brazil before World War II, and we talked for a while. But our contacts with relatives in Brazil ended, unfortunately, when he died. ((
Good to see another fellow Brazilian supporting Ukraine, cause half are just neutral about what the Moskaals are doing or even support the Moscovites, and half are just like me and you, glad to hear you're even learning Ukrainian, I'm too learning it but along with Polish cause my grandmother was Ukrainian and my grandfather Polish, anyway good luck for you and all Ukrainians here.
