  • For the final 3 weeks of my training towards my last ultra trail race of 2018 (Cappadocia Ultra Trail) I headed to Granada, Spain. The heat, trails and landscape made it a great training spot. Here's what I got up to.

    Hi, I’m running the 100k in Granada, July 2019 any tips for the heat? I live in Murcia Spain so have plenty of time for training in the sun, so drinks, food etc !! Ps also have a plant based diet!

    • @PoetWithPace
      @PoetWithPace Před 5 lety +1

      Apart from the usual, sun cream, hydration etc, i normally just slow my pace down in extreme heat.

    Hey harry, I'm fairly new to running and I'm between 170-175 strides per minute, is that good as a newish beginner? And does it say something about my running form? :) thanks

    Hi Harry what running socks do you use??? I'm looking at getting balega enduro v-tec

    • @iftomatosareafruitwhyisntk4038

      Jason cooper great choice

    • @HarryRunsUK
      @HarryRunsUK  Před 5 lety +1

      I've never used Balega enduro, so can't comment. I usually use Compressport Trail socks. Use what suits you and ensure that it fits well, wicks away moisture and suits the conditions.

    Hello Harry i want to ask you how man Days Should i run if i a beginner !!

    • @HarryRunsUK
      @HarryRunsUK  Před 5 lety

      Hey Ahmed, it's hard to say as I don't know your training history, health or if you have done many other sports before. Take things slow and relaxed to start and never try to rush things. There are lots of adaptations the body needs to make to run healthily and consistently into the future. So I would recommend starting with short runs with a walking warm up, 2 - 3 times a week. Keeping the running very easy and relaxed on softer surfaces will be easier on the body. Gradually building things up from there.
