Scott Steiner realized he's getting older and needed to let things go. Money is always a factor and lets face it. WWE's HOF is recognized by millions and it does cement the Steiner legacy.
Their legacy was cemented regardless
Lol WWE Hall of Fame is always fake & complete joke regardless that the company always earned cheap profits on any legends names especially dead wrestlers . This is the main reason Owen Hart will never ever be in this joke as the company is still responsible behind his tragic death that his wife Martha Harts always hates that company forever
@@aliciasimmons8473 that's true. But it's something that needed to be done
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333 you sound upset. Steiner used to say the same thing lol. Look where they are now.
@@Havoc800lol except Scott Steiner did this for his own nephew and even want to see him becoming World Champion at some point . Same can never be said about Owen Hart because Owen's own children also even doesn't want to do with WWE either let alone Martha . Morever I am not even a loyal Scott Steiner fan & he is sometimes never a humble person after all
It's too harsh to say that they "sold their souls". Forgiveness and graciousness are good things.
It's just another long list of click baitey, anti-wwe garbage video titles that channels like this use to get views. Nothing to see here
@@KoolKeithProductions yet you typed a comment in the video anyway.
The title really makes it sound so negative, when really the actual video pretty much praises the wrestlers and WWE for mending fences. Just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover.
@@KoolKeithProductions "That channels like this." As far as I know, Lamia does the best kinds of videos for these so 🤡
They definitely SOLD THEIR SOUL To the devil!! It's not harsh to say the truth
Brock Lesnar was a huge part of Goldberg returning 2016. Goldberg said he wanted to show his son what he used to do. He realised he still hated how his wrestling career ended. He wanted one more match to end his career on and he asked WWE if he could have one last match. He then asked his friend Lesnar if it could be against him. Lesnar knew what it meant to Bill and agreed to it
Triple H seems to have played a big role in reuniting relationships with stars and WWE
Except Scott Steiner that Triple H hates him
Triple H is nothing but a snake.
He was in the locker room for years though weren't he. Having him in the company is an asset.
Both Sanmartino and Steiner took a lot from him, Steiner alone might have helped with his heart attack
@djpegao i thought HHH and Scott Steiner squashed there beef
Proud of Scott Steiner for putting aside his beef for his brother and his nephew.
Absolutely, he was selfless for his family
Looked like to me that he didn't want to carry grudges anymore due to his age and his (and Triple H's) health issues.
Carrying grudges into old age isn't healthy. It doesn't look like they're friends, but looks like they'll gladly sit together at dinner.
Maybe this is why Vince McMahon keeps running WWE.He wants to collect the souls of every wrestler in the world.
Is he secretly Shao Khan from Mortal Kombat...
@@wodentheold5490 Maybe.
@@scotthiebler2414 Maybe the real Undertaker, instead of Mark Callaway.
@@wodentheold5490 more like Shang tsung Maybe tony khan can b… shao khan one day 😂
Do u know what even selling soul is bro stop talking if u don't know the Sins u commit 😤⚡️
The Scott Steiner one was a real shocker for me. I thought he would never come back or be welcomed back after the stuff he said about the WWE, and everything he said was true. I think the reason he sold his soul to them was for money and for his brother.
Not everything he said about HHH was true common dude.
He only did it for his cousin Bron
I think he mostly did it for his brother more than anything else
He’s definitely thinking about his brother and nephew.
Everyone hated Triple H but they still come back to wwe
Scott Steiner is forever a cult hero in wrestling regardless. The Steiner Math promo was one of my favourite ever promos in wrestling history because of how hilarious it was. Scott Steiner with a mic is always gold regardless of how good or bad his promo was.
I personally wish we had more Scott Steiners. 🥰
I always saw Scott Steiner playing it safe because of Bron Breaker is in NXT. We know how petty Vince McMahon is
@@themilkman5004 Can’t forget Tommaso Ciampa actually referencing it by saying “You have less than a 33 and a third percent chance of ever taking this NXT Title from me. Enjoy it while you can, Bron, while I’m still the NXT Champion.”
Scott Steiner has his nephew in NXT. So for him it was good they settle things out even if it's just for show.
Not to mention Rick wanted to have his son see him go into HOF. Rick wouldn't be able to go in without Scott. Bron now has plot armor.... for now
PapaPump 💪
Zelina: Good example of someone who didn't understand the risks of living by their ideals and backed off once understanding said risks. As soon as she realized that she was going to practically sacrifice possibly her future in WWE she came running back to them. Don't think this was her selling her soul to WWE so much as her just scared she wouldn't have a future.
Bischoff: This man sold his soul AGES ago but it wasn't to WWE in 2002. It was to Hogan in 1994. Bischoff taking the GM role in WWE was a good move. He was in his early 40s and still wanted to secure a future. Made sense. Him going to TNA wrestling in 2010? NOT a good idea. I'd attack him more for that.
Goldberg: Now HERE is a dude who ACTUALLY sold his soul to WWE. I agree with this one. Should have never came back in late 2016.
Steiner: His nephew is on NXT, what do you want?
Bruno: Gotta agree here. Here was a dude who seriously wanted to take down WWE. Could have started his own promotion in 1994 and it would have worked too. But nope.
Looks like Scott Steiner got treated like crap when he was in WWE. First, they had Triple H and his Evolution gang beat the hell out of him and then he gets demoted to a the mid card.
Powerbombed out of his pants
The only other somewhat notable things he did in wwe are
Having a rivalry with Test for Stacy Kiebler.
And slipping off the apron.
@KingYT01 good thing he wasn't wearing a thong that time like he did at the rumble lol
WWE:Collecting souls:Then,Now,Forever.
Bruh, Scott Steiner really sold his soul. He can never take back the stuff he did about Stephanie McMahon 😂
Hulk Hogan sold his behind off to Vince.
Ain’t he Racist
Was it worth it tho???
@@deleondaniel6206 worth what
@@King_Gaming242 money
@@pauclyoung2124 what money has to do with racism ( to wards black people)
Hart: Don't agree with this one. It was more an issue of Hart just letting go and desiring closure. That's not what selling your soul entails.
Brock: Didn't really sell his soul to WWE so much that he understood that going into his late 30s it would be a much safer idea for him to work staged matches in WWE than "real" ones in MMA. I don't think the staff at WL understand that being in the combat sports industry doesn't yield a long shelf life. You're done by 40 unless your name is George Foreman and even that's a stretch. If I'm Brock and I'm 36 and I want to stay busy through my 50s, I'm going to WWE too.
Warrior: Warrior didn't HAVE a soul to sell until years before his death. This was proven to me when I met him in 2011 when he backpedaled from most of his raging Tradcon beliefs, understanding that his ideals might feel right for him but might not feel right for others. He actually mentioned that WWE wanted to sign him AGAIN in early 1998 during the speaking too. I think Warrior knew he was going to die so that's why he patched things up.
Cody: This man's pushing 40. What wrestling platform has been favoring performers going into their 40s? WWE. Also the 9:15 mark says it all. If Cody stays in AEW he remains a gatekeeper and what performer not named Hulk Hogan would be comfortable in that role?
Jarrett: Yeah this one threw me for a loop. Here's a dude who spent close to 20 years away from WWE (1999 until what, 2018 when he appeared in the 2018 Rumble) and now he's in a backstage role? Unbelievable. I agree with this one.
MMA is staged too remember they have the entertainment license just like wwe
Jeff Jarrett’s controversial departure lead to him being BLACKLISTED for almost two decades.
Now do the 10 wrestlers who sold their soul to AEW, but haven't been seen on TV
I wish I could cash one check that Goldberg gets every time he shows up. You can't blame him, they keep offering.
Facts WWE needs Goldberg and he knows it
@@retronerds6884 FACTS dude you can tell goldberg does not care if he’s matches are bad or not he’s just wants he’s paycheck.
@@cliffordjackson3 if I'm getting paid like he is I wouldn't care either 🤣😭
@@retronerds6884 FACTS😂.
Dude your facts about Steiner are dead wrong. He wasn’t allowed at that HOF because he told Hogan’s wife at the time he was gonna “Kill Terry”, nothing to do with the McMahons
Steiner didn't sell himself , he sacrificed some ego for his nephew Bron and for Rick
I wouldn't say Sammartino, Hart, Warrior and Steiner "sold their soul" to WWE but instead simply buried the hatchet with them.... which I do commend because it does show they're willing let go of their hatred by people who they believed wronged them.
Yes they did sold their souls
@@pauclyoung2124 u mean sell
It's not selling your soul when your decisions is based on others not mostly because of money. Cody went back for his dad Bret may have went back because a lot of people wanted to see him back Goldberg originally came back for his son. And you didn't have to leave to sell your soull. triple h did it.
SELLOUTS FOR THE BAG 💰
Sammartino had problem with attitude era only. He never wanted wrestling to be like that. As soon as WWE went pg in 2007 and became family friendly he had no problem with it
Carlito is an honorable mention. He left on bad terms in 2010 but came back in the Royal Rumble in 2021 and on raw the next night. I hope Carlito gets his spot in the Hall of Fame someday.
Carlito was outright blacklisted for over a decade, but it all changed when he made an appearance in the titular match at 2021’s Royal Rumble pay per view.
The Zelina Vega return still surprised me. I was calling the shots at the time and the moment Sonya Deville said her name while promoting the Money in the Bank ladder match, I was absolutely in SHOCK!
Cody Rhodes returning this year at WrestleMania 38 was definitely a triumphant moment after going across the globe over a six year period after his previous tenure finished. I mean, Cody is a lot better as The American Nightmare than Stardust. Cause let’s face it, he doesn’t wanna play Stardust ever again.
Vega & Cody don’t shock me. Both just wanted more money & immediately gave up their convictions in order to get it.
@@HarleyQuinnSoldier More money? This actually sounds disrespectful and rude tbh...
I'm just glad WWE decided to use the gimmick Cody made for himself outside WWE instead of having him return as Stardust or the Dashing One.
@@tysargent9647 Not to mention it’s Cody’s OFFICIAL trademark, not anyone else’s.
You were calling the shots? Thanks random person commenting on a CZcams video looking for gratification.
How is some getting over old grudges and others simply making smart business decisions "selling their souls"?
Fact
I don't get it either
It isn't. It's usually burying the hatchet. Let's face it, some people go out of their way to make WWE seem like the place where pro wrestling goes to die, even when it's not always true.
You said it business, thats what it is all about no selling soul going on here.Cody went back for the money and the rest its all about money these marks take this sh*t too serious.
Wrestlelamia desperately need views
This was actually a really good video
Plz can you make a video about: "10 best storylines that blurred the lines between fiction and reality"
It's amazing Bret Hart was able to leave behind his dark time with WWE, because Montreal Screwjob wasn't the only thing, WWE killed his brother Owen a year and a half later. I'm glad things have settled. He took his 2019 hall of fame like a pro as well after what that disturbing intruder did.
Disturbing intruder? Please explain..
@@michaelloughery6100 Have you not seen that guy tackle down Bret Hart at Hall of Fame 2019? If you do then you know what I'm talking about..
I think Bret just couldn't carry around that hurt grief pain and anger anymore it eventually destroys you
You forgot Jerry Lawler who left WWE when his then wife Stacy Carter aka the Cat was let go, only to return after the marriage ended.
When Paul Heyman made his official Raw commentary debut back in 2001, Heyman did mention on the mic “You’re joined by Paul Heyman because last Tuesday night, The Kat was released by the WWF. And her husband Jerry “The King” Lawler, to his credit, walked out right alongside with her. But when there’s chaos, JR, there is opportunity! So tonight, just like TNN threw off ECW for the WWF, The King is gone, and in this chair is Paul E and the E is for EXTREME!”.
What about Hulk Hogan? He definitely sold his soul to WWE as he came back on many occasions when he left on bad terms resulting from his selfish nature.
Let us not forget the lies and BS that he makes up behind our back in which he sold his soul to the devil as well.
Selling their souls means making amends and no longer holding grudges?? So people can’t grow as humans? We just gotta be old a-holes our whole lives?
Eric Bischoff has just become one of Vince McMahons yes men
Money is a very powerful thing
Obviously
Well not money is always buys happiness after all . Jon Moxley & Malakai Black are prime example . They are always doing fine & enjoy their freedom elsewhere & without WWE anyway
After everything Scott said about WWE and Stephanie and the HOF why did he end up participating in the induction? Even all teary eyed?
Because he's a genius
hes doing for his nephew Bron Breakker, one day WWE champ.
@@Patrick2480 Why? What does Bron have to do with it? Why would he have to do it for Bron?
Cause they are family and Bron is in a good positionand since they are linked because of family he doesn’t want to risk Bron's push
For the money
It seems like Shane Douglas is the only wrestler that's a man of his word
Randy Savage too. He never went back to WWE.
Doubt it was by choice.
@@renatoism of course he's just like CM Punk in some ways
Ted Turner , Martha Hart & CM Punk as well
Scott Steiner's return to the wwe was treated as a joke and I was pissed at how it all went but if he can forgive what happened I guess I can let it go to
I don’t agree with bischoff’s inclusion. It’s not like he’s Ted Turner, he was in the top position but he was never truly invested. He just wanted to keep the cash flowing.
I don't know if Goldberg's return can be called selling his soul to WWE. 10 years+ should be quite enough to at least forgive or come to terms with his resentments over work conditions
Brock Lesnar doesn't even needed WWE anyway . The company needs him more always
Lol
In Cody’s situation I can respect that he didn’t wanna be a triple h 😂🤷🏾♂️
both Scott and Brett are getting older and realized the rage and pain needed to be let go, as for Vega, ya she sold her soul to the wwe, why leave then come back to your abuser
Easy money
The only man who will never sell his soul to WWE is Ted Turner. He doesn't want to be associate with Vince McMahon and the WWE, after Vince bought WCW. He even rejected a WWE HOF.
Same with Owen Hart as his own family still hates the company for his tragic death
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333 Martha Hart (Owen's widow) forgave Vince but still won't allow Owen to be promoted. She gave a strong reason why she does not want Owen in the HOF on Dark Side of the Ring.
@@Brey Bulldog and the rest of the Hart family sold their souls to WWE. The Hart family were against WWE for the Montreal screwjobs incident, and the Owen Hart accidental death. Only Owen's family did not want to be associated with WWE due to WWE being responsible for Owen's death.
The Ultimate Warrior was surprising but I am glad both he and Vince were able to mend their issues. To see the Ultimate Warrior appear on Monday Night Raw and then pass the very next day made me cry that entire day
I was crying to my mom and fiancé about it. It was mind blowing. I told my mom “He was just on Raw last night and we all saw him! He didn’t look sick at all. A little winded, but not sick.”
Worked out for zelina in the end cuz now she has the job and the talent can use 3rd party platforms again
The only exceptional ones who may or may NEVER return to WWE, are CM Punk & Gail Kim…
Thanks for your love and support towards WWE , WWEofficial appreciate you for your love and support
@@wwesupporterpage875 ok…..
Sounds more like Wrestlelamia sold their soul to AEW. constant WWE bashing on all platforms LMAO
WRESTLERS: I hate you, McMahon! You 🤬!

WESTLERS: Oh my gosh, I want a ring!
The Ultimate Warrior induction was an ultimate blessing!! Soooooooooooo happy that happened when it did 😢
🎵I sold my soul years ago, so I could be rich🎵
The good brothers Impact Wrestling theme song
4:08 Cutter turns into a neckbreaker, that move looks weird 😂
I think Jeff Jarrett is the unlikeliest return and ascension. It really seemed like Vince & Jeff would never reconcile. But idk if he “sold his soul” lol
That one REALLY surprised me ! that Madusa, Warrior, and also Jake Roberts/Scott Hall
and number 0
Steve Austin shaking hands with satan himself at WM 17.
All Steiner ever wanted was recognition for his amazing work and for his move to be properly called The Frankensteiner instead of Hurricanrana. Triple-Nose buried him, made him work rigorous matches while injured, then suggested he be fired. It was obvious that Steiner would hold a grudge.
Eric Bischoff is the Greatest Raw GM in WWE History he brought Stacy Keibler from smackdown to Raw he Handed Triple H the world Heavyweight title he Gave us the HLA Segments He Gave us the Elimination Chamber Match Concept @ Survivor Series 2002 and his WWE Theme is iconic his GM Run From 2002-2005 was awesome.
Money in the bank also
@@AirConditioned That was Chris Jericho not Bischoff
@@benespinosa6725 huh. I guess my memory has failed.
@chris griner lol I got good memory for something that happened 18-years ago
People don't give hunter enough credit, sure he screwed some people over, but he helped push a lot over. Loyalty at its finest.
Scott had to do that for his brother, and nephew
The title feels so off compared to what is talked about in the video, along with the tone of the narrator.
Honorable mentioned:
1. Wendy Ritcher
2. Medusa
3. Bruce Prichard
4. The Bella Twins
5. Drake Maverick
6. Samoa Joe
7. Paul Heyman
8. Road Dogg
9. The Hardys
10. Mickie James
Hardys didn't sell their soul to wwe they sold it to aew.
@@CyberDragoon656 Don't forget Jeff Hardy in TNA. Ooh. That was a shitshow coming.
@@CyberDragoon656 Matt Hardy got fired by WWE for the wrong reason when Lita cheated on Matt for Edge. WWE did fired Jeff Hardy twice for the right reasons when he refused to get help, but he did sold his soul to WWE when he renewed his WWE contract in 2020, knowing that WWE had mistreated him since his return to the company. He wanted more money and his crappy theme song back.
@@nwo2cool and then they both left again this time now to aew so unless they leave that company and go back to wwe I can't really say they sold their should to the wwe.
I miss WCW, it’s an itch AEW can’t scratch and WWE can’t touch.
Yeah, I can see why. WCW actually launched the careers of many lovable stars, like Sting, Goldberg, DDP, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, and Big Show, to name a few.
is it selling your soul or letting bygones be bygones " holding a grudge is like drinking poison yourself expecting to kill the other person"
I’m sure we can all agree that Scott Steiner burying the hatchet ain’t have anything to do with him “selling his soul” but more to do him getting older and understanding the way he was acting wasn’t it and it was time to bury things. Secondly to not rob Rick of that HOF induction especially since his nephew is part of the company as well
So making amends means sold out, got it. I guess if somebody like Jericho or Moxley ever come back to WWE they'll make this list as well👌🏾
He probably used it as an expression
Def
Jericho is not in bad terms with WWE. He is still featured here in there. He was privileged to congratulate John Cena on his 20 years. You can find it on WWE's youtube channel. Jericho never had bad blood with WWE.
@@Brey That, I can believe. He probably just wanted to continue his career somewhere else.
NO BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SPENT YEARS BASHING THE WWE AND SELLING THEIR SOULS WHEN THE BAGS RIGHT
Vega probably realized how difficult it is make big money on twitch.
These wrestlers didn't "sell their soul" they buried the hatchet.
Bischoff is the best authority role next to Vince
You say sold their soul but I look at it as your intro said "Bygones be bygones"
CM Punk And Jon Moxley probably in this list in the future.
But I would not say that their sold their soul to wwe.
I think "Bury the hatchet" is the right term.
they did not ''Sold Their Soul'' they just simply growed up...and for those who dont understand it... don't worry...give it time 😎
#1. A wild slap nuts appears!
Bro this is such a bull title. People get over grudges and move on. It isnt "selling there souls" embarrassing
Very disrespectul from this chanel
Add Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to the list because after their 2020 release, they distanced themselves from WWE. But this all changed about 2.5 years later as Gallows and Anderson would make their WWE returns together at the same time on the 10/10/2022 episode of Raw.
Bruno Sammartino's historic WWWF title will never be broken
That's why in wrestling there's a saying NEVER say NEVER
This is a good video
The title of the video says "sold their soul" but some of these seem to be simply a case of letting bygones be bygones.
Yes they did sold their souls
To see that WWE doesn’t allow their talents to use onlyfans only makes me respect them more
“Sold their soul” = Is employed by the WWE 🙄
The Cody thing makes sense. The whole Rhodes bloodline ran through WWF/E.
In news that no 1 cares about but me, the day the Eric Bischoff character debuted on RAW was the day my youngest nephew was born, whom is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force!
Cody Rhodes is the new version of Eric Bischoff
Haha oh man you nailed it on this list! Especially Cody Rhodes is the biggest one I think!
The new Addition is CM PUNK😅
I think number ten is also one of the many reasons why the Twitch ban was lifted.
You could make a case for Hogan to be on the list.
Hahaha Triple H and Scott Steiner look so red!
Damn 3 of Vince's Rivals and Leaders of Rival shows WCW,TNA and AEW
AT THE END OF THE DAY...WE ALL COME BACK TO HOME ❤️
Oh my God I never thought I would hear the sentence former WE chairman 🤣🤣
Or maybe Scott realized he wouldn't be doing his nephew Bronson any favors so he was a bigger man. This channel has gotten so biased lately.

Cody Rhodes was most surprising to me...especially since he and friends helped in the creation of AEW which is suppose to be WWE's direct competition. So seeing him go back to WWE surprised me the most.
Edit: MORE SPECIFICALLY... I didn't see him coming back to WWE THIS SOON...maybe when he was old and being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame...but definitely not this soon...
𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐍...
Not really. I think it was his plan along. Go away, build yourself up and come back. If you look at all the AEW VPs, Cody stood out like a sore thumb. So it really shouldn't surprise anyone that he left AEW.
@@savagereaper6291 No one on this list was surprising...but since Cody's character was disrespected in WWE and then he created AEW as its competition, I did not seeing him coming back to WWE...and MORE SPECIFICALLY... I didn't see him coming back to WWE THIS SOON.
Edit: Maybe when he was old and being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame...but definitely not this soon.
MY OPINION.
Sold their soul? Man this guy really likes to be dramatic
Watching this video before wwe take it down
Sold their soul…a little excessive
Scott Steiner was maybe the most surprising case to me, given that he called Stephanie McMahon the c-word.
I cannot stand Goldberg. He should never have won any titles
Steiner gonna make money from that 2k when he’s gonna be feature in future games
Here's a list to do
10 wrestlers who sold their hole/holes to the wwe or gave up their hole/holes. There are many.
I never thought see Cody Rhodes in wwe
Selling your soul to WWE is like selling out to the Devil
It's just wrestling dude it's never that serious
@@drunozeko4332 it’s a joke man take it
@@TheCoreyBlandin sounded like an Amy Schumer joke
It is wrestling wtf, it is not Hollywood
All the other promotions are not gonna give the same deals as WWE, once he bought WCW
We really gotta think about this “selling your soul” thing when it comes to WWE. Cause let’s face it other companies in wrestling are gonna be like selling your soul. From TNA (when it was good) where a wrestler would join them after WWE and talk about TNA like it’s so amazing and everyone loves each other only to see it was smoke and mirrors. And AEW is there right now. Hell it’s more like fans selling their soul to AEW cause if you say one bad thing about AEW they’ll jump on you no matter what. Even if it’s a small critique
Scott Steiner probably did the Hall Of Fame for his brother I bet Robby (Rick’s real name as Rechsteiner is their real surname) as if it was just for Scott as a singles wrestler he probably would’ve said no
You forgot one person and that is Superstar Billy Graham
Martha Hart has bigger balls than all of those dudes!
