See the Gymini if they did the switch gimmick pin. That would be believable.
It was never really believable for me with the ‘Bashams’ because they looked nothing alike, but it somehow always worked.
One guy looked like Robert Englund without his Freddy Krueger Make Up, and the other looked like he should have been cast as Lennie in ‘Of Mice and Men.’ 😂🤣😂🤣

Matt Borne had a serious drug problem and it was affecting his in-ring work. That was why they let him go. A number of years later he tried again under the name Borne Again, but he ended up OD'ing. Besides, the character Doink continued after they released Borne when they made Steve Lombardi the new Doink. They also used Steve Keirn and Ray Liachelli as Doink.

Eric Escobar is a name i still remember as it was also the name of my best friend. When he debuted he and I were in middle school and after seeing his debut I told him in the following Monday at school "Hey I didn't know you were a wrestler in WWE". I teased him a little bit about that

I never realized that Eric Escobar was a disappointment. All I know about him back when he was Eric Alexander, he was over in the Puerto Rican wrestling promotions like the IWA PR and the WWC in the early and mid-2000s, and won multiple titles that don't involve a world championship. Plus, he even had a feud with TNA's Abyss at that time, back in 2002 or 2003.

Escobar he had just gotten promoted to WWE and I believe he was still at that show at that time (or at least he was mentioned). I was like wow. Funny enough the main event was a triple threat match: Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Tyler Reks (c). Funny how that all turned out. Two are still there 13 years later.

WWE had a feud with Undertaker in mind for Mordecai, but they changed their minds when they saw him in the ring and realized he wasn't ready yet. So they sent him back to developmental and brought him back as Kevin Thorn, and gave him Ariel as a valet. Regarding Hade Vansen, WWE was all about the big guys back then. Talant Relations head John Laurinaitis even issued a decree that stated that they would not be signing any more wrestlers under 6'2".

Some of these names could be the reason why these wrestlers weren't taken seriously...

I always assumed Gunner Scott was released due to his close association with Chris Benoit since after the deaths of himself and his family, they just wanted to rid themselves of anything that had to do with him.

I'm glad this list was made. No Punk had way more reasons to leave before that but I wonder if he would stay if the Ryback storyline didn't happen

I'm surprised I didn't see Americano on this list. He was in one match where he was squashed around the start of Braun Strowman's singles run and was never seen again

I remembered Jesus for the whole stabbing thing, it was bizarre and out of nowhere, and i remember Brakus for getting beat up in that stupid tough man tournament them promptly buried.

And two other honorable mentions even though both were WCW Tag Team Champions with each other, but both have forgotten WWF/E runs, those being David Flair (who got beat up by Undertaker and then got beat by him in a match to hype up his feud with Ric Flair for WestleMania 18) and Crowbar (who competed in the Light Heavyweight Title Tournament as Devon Storm losing in the first round to Taka Michinoku and a few matches before and after that, and then as Crowbar he appeared in the same weekend on both WWE Velocity and Sunday Night Heat in September 2003, losing to Sean O'Haire on September 27th episode of Velocity and then losing to Scott Steiner the next night on September 28th episode Heat)
