I qualify for a VA Loan, but home prices are so out of reach
Been in Europe for ten years, have no savings currently (it's going to a business venture atm) so I wouldn't have money for a down payment. No Debt. I'm 100% P&T. What are my odds for an approval?
We have an overlay where you need to be back in the states before you apply. As long as you still have US credit it should not be an issue when you are back as we can ask the seller for closing costs in most parts of the country
@JenniferBeeston I'll be back in a few years. But sadly my credit I believe is basically 0. I have no loans or credit lines. Could it still be possible? Any suggestions on how to build my credit now before I'm set to return?

No one give you even an estimate of closing costs in Puerto Rico! I beginning to think Puerto Rico is anti Veterans. 🙇🏻 How can I approach them, if when they hear VA loan they just say they will call back and never do! And Realtors are even worst!

You are in one of the most expensive parts of the country where values tripled in like a year. This is more then rates but yes the combo is rough especially when you add in increased homeowners premiums as well. But the beach is really nice
