    I’m from Queensland Australia! I know I am really late replying to this video but I have just started watching your videos in the past couple weeks. So here is a little info on some of the snacks you had in this video. The Mars pods are what most people will take to the movies instead of popcorn as they are so moorish you can eat the whole bag. The vege chips are your classic primary school tuckshop/ canteen snack. The cheese and bacon balls and burger rings are also a classic kids lunch box snack. The lollies are also probably hard as they are normally in a hotter climate where they are more softer and bendy, they are also another kids corner store classic as they are just a couple cents each. The chokito when it says ‘rip into it’ is just an Aussie saying, sort of like saying jump into bed but you’re not literally going to jump into bed. Thank you to anyone who read this just a little info for the non Aussie’s! 😊

I would eat zappos if someone gave them to me, but wouldn’t buy them. I’ve never bought a Chokito because I assumed they had nuts in them too (I’m allergic).

    We do put Prawns on BBQs but usually just use prawns in recipes or sometimes on pizza or schnittys (schnitzels). Burger rings are supposed to be burger flavoured but I think twisties cheeseburger flavour is better. We have Violet Crumble and Crunchie, same thing but different brands. Sipahh is less than ½tsp of sugar and you use with a glass of cold/or warm milk, it's a healthier alternative for flavoured milk and comes in 18 different flavours, The cardboard box and straws are recyclable and so far have not been affected by the plastic straw ban as the ban focuses more on disposable single use straw like the ones from cafes, it would be good if they can come up with a plastic free alternative.

I put a Teflon bbq sheet over the grill it help stop them from sticking especially if you have gone with a sauce

    7:07 pretty sure Violet Crumble is way older than a Crunchie - we didn’t have Crunchies until at least the late ‘70s, if not the ‘80s.

    Most of the time, you can find fizzers and zappos in the tack shop at the local pool

    I’m from Perth, which is in the west of Australia ( originally from Melbourne ). I’ve tried all of these. What might come as a surprise is Cadbury is a lot more popular here, than any of the chocolates in this video. Personally I don’t like burger rings, but the Cheetos & Vege chips I love! There are many more flavors of the vege chips as well. The candy as well, is a lot more popular within younger generations. Very much a fan of them when I was younger and still as a teenager. However many other lollies over rule them as a whole. Love your trying different from around the world videos. They’re a favourite of mine. I’d love to send you some of my personal favorites

    Born in Queensland *southport hospital but grew up in Newcastle *Newie I have had pods mars is the best flavour but they also come in snickers and when they first come out mint and honey comb too , burger rings *childhood favourite , cheese and bacon Cheeto balls *childhood favourite my sister likes veggie chips I’m not a fan, we love those !!! Violet crumbles can be super hard to get here sometimes they used to be pices in a bag as well as done as a bar (recently gotten back in the bag),I have had fizzles because who hasn’t another blast from childhood my dad loves
    chokito strangely never been all that fused on them tbh, zappos are awesome they’re like chewing gum but you actually swallow them because they’re a lolly grape is the best!! But I think they come in a few other flavours and I didn’t know they were Korean so just learnt something new, and as for “flat chews” original star bursts are done like those ps I love these videos because these are things we actually eat!!!! Not just some tourist rubbish and so much nostalgia with all of those snacks and I love how you just give them all ago with out bias even when you don’t like something you’re still just really polite and respectful about it n that’s just so awesome

    Also chocitos are relatively new and the saying “rip into it” is just a slang saying in Australia/NZ that just means “dig in” or “get eating it” not physically actually rip into it haha 😂

    • @alyssawilson9892
      @alyssawilson9892 Před 5 lety

      Chokitos are so old have been eating them since I was a kid. They used to have this terrible gold packaging but were rebranded in 2010 in the black packaging so they would appeal more to men.
      Thought it was so sweet when you guys took the slogan literally and tried to rip the packet.. definitely just dig in!
