I started tearing up with the woman's case being shown. Her relief of being able to breathe better was so overwhelming to watch. The fact that you are helping people to this extent is so fabulous and I'm so happy to be learning about this as a dental professional. I'm so blown away this is not taught to us in school.

I wish there was a posterior tongue tie surgeon in the UK, only seems to be surgery for the anterior.

29:08 What makes it so that the tie changes shape? I push my tongue up everyday and it doesn't look like that. =/

Pushing the tongue up isn't the action you want to focus on but rather, suctioning the tongue up into the roof of the mouth. Try, while your mouth is open a little, to make tongue-click noises, like a clock (wherein you suck your tongue up to the roof of your mouth, then it snaps down, making a sound). If you stop while the tongue is suctioned to the top of the mouth, that is what's called "the cave" or lingual palatal suction. You can find more videos on this on our website and youtube channel.

@@TheBreatheInstitute so are we attempting to keep this 'cave' while are mouths are closed? TIA!
