It's weird how such a small story turned into a cultural icon, and it's time to find out why in this very special episode! Hosted by Tuck the Cockapoo!
I love how the script is written so that Tuck is so innocent that he thinks Cujo is just being rough with the humans and that it ends with him taking a nap
I would advise putting on a flame "resistant" suit on beforehand. Just in case he starts breathing a nuclear flame from his mouth. (Btw, I had to change the word out into resistant because CZcams bots are dumb and flagged the comment because the original word had the "R" word in it 😑)
At least it's more tasteful than when we got trolled on Sea of Monsters. That was a long while before he finally covered it. Not to criticize him, mind you. Just that this joke wasn't as mean spirited in comparison.
Fun facts: There were apparently as many as 13 dogs prepared to step in and play the role of Cujo, and most of them had a problem with being too happy on set and wagging their tails. Many of them had to have their tails tied down because they were wagging too much to fit into the role. They weren't always able to work around this though, so in some shots as Cujo is getting ready to attack someone, you can see him wagging his tail happily.
@@KrimsonRogue another fun fact: these days, VFX artists will be asked to make sure a dog or wolf’s tail won’t wag in post production. This is because they are good boys and girls excited to be doing a good job
Why would it be a waste of my time? It's both a fun spin on April Fool's jokes, lighthearted and all, and the creative aspect of "What would a dog think about this movie?" still makes it a fun little watch :) Edit: The title card/intro being changed up was essentially the icing on the cake!
It is, but here's a happy note. I read that they had trouble getting the dog who portrayed Cujo to attack people in set because he was a super friendly pupper.
"A complete waste of your time." The fool that you are, this was a life-changing experience, one that I never could have imagined witnessing within the decade. A cinematic Masterpiece.
First of all, DOGGY!! Second, if this cute little puppy need any recommendations, I vote “White Dog”. It’s pretty much a predecessor to “Cujo” and also pretty sad.
Honestly, this wasn't a waste of my time; it's not everyday i get to watch funny a review for a horror movie xtarring voice acting for a dog. Thank you Krimson. this put a smile to my face:)
For an April fools joke-This is pretty wholesome. I'd wonder/doubt about that, next year, the cats would have something to say about their favourite book-to-film adaption/s.. Still, pretty good!
Tuck is so freaking cute. Cujo is one of my favourite stories, and I’m not even disappointed about it being a tease. Gimme more Tuck in the future, please~~
Cujo was the first Stephen King book I read and it scared the shit out of me. I remember sweating and feeling so sick while reading the last third. I saw the movie right after and was so extremely disappointed.
Honestly, Krimson's sabbatical feels longer thanks to lockdown, so l'll take any new content at this point, even an April's Fools. Looking forward to the review right around the corner, too!
What a cute dog! Such a good dog! Deserves all the treats in the world with all the other good dogs! I know this is an April Fools joke, but what an adorable one we get!
I watched Cujo when I was six, it definitely was the worse thing that my step father ever let me do, other than almost drowning in a pool at a party full of drunks.
“Because I’m a dog, and I can’t read.”
Well, not with that attitude. I expect Krim’ll start teaching you any day.
If we can teach a blind and deaf person what an apple is using signs (ASL) on their palms, I think we can do anything
I love how the script is written so that Tuck is so innocent that he thinks Cujo is just being rough with the humans and that it ends with him taking a nap
I think you mean too ruff
Bro I'd be a bit concerned if my dog's favorite movie was Cujo... Gonna show Godzilla to my gecko just to be sure

I don't care that this was an April Fool's joke, we need more Tuck content!
@Ian Yoder Nnnnnnnnnnnope!
@@KrimsonRogue
Yeah I don't blame you, plague dogs is so sad
@Ian Yoder never heard of it
Like the Hollywood saying go “don’t play with animals or kids”
Can we all agree that Tuck did a brilliant job hosting?
Yup, the dog is talented.
at first I was:" YEAH FINALLY HE COVERS Cujo, but then I saw the date and then it went ohhhh April Fools" better luck next time I guess.
In all fairness this is one of the best April's Fool uploads I've seen
At least it's more tasteful than when we got trolled on Sea of Monsters. That was a long while before he finally covered it. Not to criticize him, mind you. Just that this joke wasn't as mean spirited in comparison.
*Because I'm a dog and I can't read*
And here I thought that would be the first Krim would teach her
Now I want your cats to do the same with Pet Sematary!1!11
Omg. Yes, please!
I second this
I gotta do that with my cat
This wasn't a waste of time. I love being reminded of how great that dog was in Cujo.
Apparently the dog that played him was a VERY good boy

@@KrimsonRogue Such a good boy
So the dog wasn't as great of an actor as I thought, and wasn't alone.🤣
I think I'd feel more comfortable working on set.

I always thought this story was more sad than scary.

Krim: "Here's Tuck being adorable."
Me: "Hey, a Weird Al autograph."
I was wondering when someone would point that out. XD
This would make an incredible kids show for introducing complicated story plots
Yes! The language and format as well as the adorable dog host would be quite perfect!
And they can call it... Wishtuck!
Wait no, that's no good. Uh, Tuckbone! God that's even worse...
How about..
Magnificent Tuck's doghouse of barks (books)
"A complete waste of your time."
The fool that you are, this was a life-changing experience, one that I never could have imagined witnessing within the decade. A cinematic Masterpiece.
Me: Oh cool Krimson posted a new video. Wait why is it only 4 minutes? Daaaaaaawwww puppy.
I'm gonna show this to my dog.
*You Monster*
Congratulations Tuck, your in. Krimson take a hike! We have a new host for the show. At least he delivers on time... Unlike some people.
I know it was an April fool’s thing but dang it was adorable.
This is absolutely hilarious. The happy music with the horror movie footage.
Yeah as someone who hasnt watched the movie it was pretty hilarious, a well executed joke👍🏻
Ah yes that’s certainly how it ends... he goes... to sleep.
"This was a complete waste of your time"
What do you mean? I had the time of my life! More Tuck pls!
You know, if Tuck reviews became a series, I'd tune in every time. :P
The heckin’ goodest reviewer. 13/10
Now this is the quality content I subscribed for
the 100 deeds for Krimson Rouge
Does this mean we'll be getting more videos from Krimson soon?
Hope everything is ok :)
Let's just say that this is going to be a very productive week. XD
It's been a long while Mr Rogue.
Good to have you back, even beyond your control, you're a pioneer that struck gold when it came to book reviews and comparison reviews.
I dunno if I'd call myself a pioneer, but thanks. XD
I loved getting Tuck's perspective on this story! Very fresh, very insightful!
Funfact: Stephen King was so drunk when he wrote Cujo that he barely has any memories of writing it.
Always impressed by that because the book is quite good and pretty tightly plotted for someone in a blackout state lol
Tuck is adorable and definitely a good boi!!
First of all, DOGGY!!
Second, if this cute little puppy need any recommendations, I vote “White Dog”. It’s pretty much a predecessor to “Cujo” and also pretty sad.
Yes you ARE a good boy. GOOD boy *strokes*
Krimson, I've missed your videos. So I am writing this message before watching. Ok, now for the dog that scared me terribly as a kid
Honestly, this wasn't a waste of my time; it's not everyday i get to watch funny a review for a horror movie xtarring voice acting for a dog.
Thank you Krimson. this put a smile to my face:)
This was amazing! Tuck was such a good host.
And no time was wasted doing this video or watching it!
For an April fools joke-This is pretty wholesome.

I was all prepared to write a serious comment about SK books vs SK movies but then PUPPER!
Tuck is so freaking cute. Cujo is one of my favourite stories, and I’m not even disappointed about it being a tease. Gimme more Tuck in the future, please~~

This is the best book review I’ve seen! I love it!
Thanks for Krims yearly reminder that its April Fools Day
Krimson has uploaded! The Return Of The King!!
Oh no, I've been bamboozled by a doggo, oh the humanity, not the floof!

This was much needed thank you
We need tuck to have his own series and properly review dog movies.
I saw this was only 5 minutes and went "actually how dare you?" Then I saw the pupper and all was well.
Such a wonderful review! What a pup star!
Happy April Fools to you too Krim 😁
This is so freaking cute!
"This has been a complete waste of your time" I beg to differ; that was great!
I can't wait for Tuck's review of Twilight: Eclipse
10/10 more Tuck reviews. Giving this two PAWS UP
In the end, Cujo was being a bad boy and forced to take a bath afterwards.
This was the perfect Brithday gift. Thank you😂

Also yes, Tuck is a good boi.

Excuse you, adorable doggo content is never a waste of time!

Cujo seemed like a sweet and good dog, before the zombie bats
I watched Cujo when I was six, it definitely was the worse thing that my step father ever let me do, other than almost drowning in a pool at a party full of drunks.
