- Precinct 4 deputies found Troy Koehler's body in a top-loading washing machine in the home's garage. HCSO investigators were still interviewing his parents.
It should be open season on people who do horrific things, especially to children.

I’m withholding any judgement but to play devils advocate, my washer lid does lock once the wash starts. But someone from the outside has to press the start button for it to begin.
@@thecoldcallerguy from my experience, they let you load more clothes while it’s filling up and locks at the spin cycle. Realistically, don’t see any other option than he was placed there
Growing up in foster care being brutally raped I can't tell you how many people I told and nobody did anything at all nothing the foster care system is horrendous it really is

Actually, my last washer, the cover did not lock.

You can use your phone on some to start it remotely. This kid didn't jump in then turn the machine on. That's obvious

Possible that he was sleep walking . There is people and kids that do that. My daughter was asleep in her bed when I checked on her, just to wake up and find her in her toy box.

Imagine being a 7 yr old and furiously banging in there to have someone let u out. My washer is loud as shit with a quilt. I doubt he got in and waited to die… someone would’ve heard something. Even if u can only bang the top it’s metal and loud.

This was not an accident. I'm also bewildered why the officers didn't check the home first before checking the neighborhood.
He'd been in danger had he walked outside into the night.
Because a cops IQ is barely above room temperature! The point here I got to make is this look at the number of cops that show up over a simple traffic stop or heaven forbid you have a camera! Yet you report your 7 year old missing and you might have 2 cops show up 5 hours later! They could have searched inside and outside at the same time if they’d dispatch to these calls like the would for calls of a man with a camera!
Oh and this definitely was foul play I am sure of that!

up more details on how things played out... They got the call around 5:20am they responded to the call and police started searching for the boy outside. They had a officer at the house interviewing the parents so they can write a missing person report and get more information and when the parents said there was no signs of a door or window open or something that showed he left the house they started a thorough search of the house. And they found the boy at 7:20... To get a call from parents saying there boy went missing out of there house and having no direction on where he may be and you find the missing person in a washer machine in about 2 hours after the call is pretty damn quick
Because they trust the family did that already. It’s bazaar. Since so many kids are discovered dead at home after being reported missing.

Not saying it is the case here but I have heard a few stories of children putting themselves in the washing machine especially during a game of Hide and Seek so both ways are very possible.

Of the cases of children dying inside washers, they die from drowning in the water, or from just going through the wash cycle for 45 minutes. Take your pick.

Unlike a refrigerator, a washer doesn't lock when it's closed.
Front load washers do.
Also, most modern household refrigerators also don't lock when closed either.

When I was a kid, I tried to get in one to play like I was in an army tank, it's was impossible for me to get in because my weight kept shifting the inner part of the machine so it would close the entrance before I got my body in, I tried and tried but I couldn't do it, not by myself. Someone shoved him in there.
I got myself locked in a broken commercial grade washing machine when I was 6 or 7 it was scary as hell and it was so hot luckily my friend heard me and let me out before anything happened to me.

I have a EX LG top loading washing machine and there is no way that a seven year old is going to be able to fit in that by themself someone had to have to squish him into that.

Just so everyone knows…..washing machines can’t be turned on unless the lid is closed…..and if the lid is closed there’s no way this boy could push the button to start it. You can’t push the start button and then close the lid. So there’s no logical way this boy climbed in to play and accidentally died from starting the washer. This boy was either killed first and then put in the washer…or put in the washer, lid closed on purpose and the washer started by someone else on purpose.
I said the same. I guarantee he was placed there. And they reported him missing prior so they wouldn't seem guilty. So sad!

Willing to bet the machine was turned on, and automatically locked. They shouldn’t make washers that automatically lock. He probably couldn’t push the lid up.

There was a similar incident where a woman did this to her kid and the village tossed her into a burning fire, she did it cause she despised the father or something like that.
